"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

When Alcide said "I've been waiting so long for this" I thought yeah buddy we all have and then she puked. Lame!:rotfl2:

Okay, I am with you guys 100% The Lafayette and Fairy stories have got to go. Jessica and Tara fighting over Hoyt (hilarious) But the preview for this week showing Hoyt all bloody may be the game changer for this trio as DH thinks he was turned to a vamp? IDK but this can get interesting. I am so glad Russel or "Big Russ" as DH & I call him is back im sorry but Russ kept it interesting...lol Finally, was it just me or did everyone not know that it was Nora who unburied Russel as soon as Sookie saw the "necklace" around their neck? I may be wrong but I will not be surprised when the "traitor" or Russel saviour is revealed.

We are actually paying for HBO specifically for True Blood (DH does watch movies and stuff too, but only because we have it already). Every week, I wonder why we pay for it because the show just keeps getting worse.

You should watch Game of Thrones and Newsroom!! Veep is funny too!

OMG I love this show! I thought is was going to be silly but it has me hooked.:thumbsup2:rotfl::happytv:

I'm also now addicted to this show. Got "hooked" on Joe/Alcide when I saw Magic Mike and have since borrowed DVD to watch seasons 1-3 and then subscribed to HBO so I could watch season 4 and catch up with season 5. Good lord that's a lot of TrueBlood in a couple of weeks. :rotfl:

I can't wait to see what happens tonight. First time in a long time I'll be watching a TV show LIVE! in a very long time. ;)

Jumping in late to this thread! I'm another reader of the Southern Vampire series. I was just commenting to DH last week that I understand they are branching out from the book because it's only Sookie's point of view, but all of theses varied story lines are getting out of control!

As for the blood on Hoyt, I thought it looked like a vamp had been staked as it was attacking(?) him.

Hoyt had blood all over him because some vamp was either attacking him or drinking from him (I assumed drinking from him because he's being a self-destructive victim right now) got shot with a wooden bullet by the masked gang in the truck. I thought I saw that in the preview for this week?

The preview that they've been running for this week's episode on HBO seems to include more than what they showed at the end of the episode last week. It ruined the cliffhanger for me!

Adding another voice to the Game of Thrones crowd. Definitely worth the watch. It's stayed extremely close to the books (which are fantastic) and have so many captivating characters and story lines. - sorry for the OT

Finally caught up with last week's episode. It only took FIVE weeks for Russell to finally show up. :sad2:

The new show, The Newsroom, is also very good. It's written by Aaron Sorkin, who also wrote the West Wing Series. Granted, a different genre from True Blood and Game of Thrones, but the writing is really good, as is the cast.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

::yes::

HOLY CRAP!!!!! DID not see that ending!

I totally saw something like that coming. Though I am now ticked off that Chris Meloni is gone. I'm sure his lady friend was the one that set Russell free.

This show is really starting to lose my interest. The multiple story lines have become too much for me. It's so frustrating that a show that has such a limited number of episodes continues to go in so many different directions, none of which appear to have anything to do with each other! Don't even get me started with them ending episodes early on top of that! I'm starting to think it would be better to watch The Glades because I really hate missing that.

Ohhhhhh thank goodness for Russel. The last ten minutes of this episode were the only interesting scenes of this season so far. And I'm SO happy I don't have to hear Christopher Meloni give the same exact 30 minute speech about blood in yet another episode. Good riddance!

Now Russel just needs to partner up with Pam, Jessica, and Steve Newlin, and this season could quite possibly become very entertaining!

Yes, I liked Chris on L&O: SVU, but here, he was just long, slow, and overly-melodramatic or LOUD & SHOUTING. :headache:

I noticed no came over to help stop Russell. :rolleyes1

Maybe now that Russell is around, things will pick up speed.

And did anyone notice Sookie crying in the car when she & Alcide drove back home? She still is in love with Bill.

I am thinking that either that woman who was doing the interrogation(Roman's sweetheart I forget her name) set Russell free or, as a twist, some sort of physical manifestation of Lilith.

Whoa!!!!

Also, I enjoyed the talk between Lafayette and his mother last night. The writers do some things very, very well. :thumbsup2
