I would LOVE to hear Taylor do a duet with Mandisa of On My Own originally done by Michael McDonald and Patti LaBelle. I think that would be absolutely perfect!

I've been crazy busy all day... going on VACATION Friday night!!! ... I'm one HAPPY camper!!!!

We'll be in Orlando for 5 days, will have my handy laptop so I will be in contact, but until then I'm a crazy packing cleaning working FIEND!!!!

I have the Motorola v325. I went on "Get it Now", but can't find anything Disney for my phone. Can you help me with that?

I don't have good news...unfortunately not all phones are created equal and some Get it Now applications are not available for all phones. Unfortunately, the Disney one is not available on yours.

However, if you go to Best Buy, you can purchase a kit that will let you take songs you have (Disney songs) and convert them to ringtones. I think the kit was like $70 but you can make your own wallpapers, etc. I think it's worth it, esp. if you have a limited phone as far as Get it Now apps. If you figure you spend about $5-10 on an application, it would pay for itself in about 7-8 downloads. Just an idea, though!

I didn't want to go to the concert until I thought this may be the only way I'll get to see Taylor that up close and personal, at least THIS year. I'm going to the September one so I'm sure everyone will be finished by then...

The one I'd LOVE to go to is in Bham... LOTS of people from the AI boards are going to that one and to Workplay the Monday before. There's supposed to be a SPECIAL GUEST playing that night with Taylor's old band... I wonder WHOOOO????

Can you believe that my good friend/neighbor/walking buddy will be at the show in Manchester, NH on July 5th?!?! She didn't realize that it was the first show! They have a summer house up north and some friends from up there got them tickets and they are supposed to be good seats. She has dd's 14 & 15 and they want to make signs but are not sure what to put on them - any suggestions??? (The girls are Chris fans but the adults are Taylor fans) I have asked my friend if she will blow kisses at Taylor for me and she said she would! Gotta love a friend like that...and so funny since she is in her 50's.

I really, really, REALLY wish I got tickets for the Worcester show this Fall..

I am willing to bet that Taylor will be on the road on a solo tour this winter. Depends on how quickly he cranks out that CD, but I figure it should give us something to look forward to after the holidays this year.

So there's a care package going to Jay from the Soul Patrol (flowers, honorary Soul Patrol member certificate, a mug, etc.) and someone had the idea to make up a fake birth certificate Jay could maybe use on the show kidding around with the idea that he was his long lost son. LOL! So I, being a freak for any opportunity to do some graphic design stuff, volunteered to do one...

You picked ALL of my favorites. I can't believe it!!! Love that Ace, he reminds me of a young Barry Gibb. Paris is Ann Nesby's granddaughter, she's a gospel singer that lives here in Atlanta. My board is kind of down on her because of her connection to the music biz. Taylor already has a fan club. He reminds me of Ray Charles AND Joe Cocker.
This is going to be a good year.

Can I ask a serious question for any of you who really followed American Idol in the past? Do you think the hype surrounding Taylor is bigger than for past Idol winners? To me it seems to be so, but, before S5, I only ever watched the show half-heartedly, if at all, and definitely never cared about the winner as I do this time around.

So maybe it's a case of me never taking notice before. But it seems to me that Taylor is HOT - and not just IMO, but he truly seems to be like the hottest thing in Hollywood right now. Which makes me - at the people who had, for so many months, described Tay as "not marketable."
