I was there recently (last week). I'd definitely say to stick around near to the Star Wars Outpost (not sure of the name), during certain hours and you'll have a live band putting up shop.Hey Guys - we are planning on going to Disney Springs on the last day of our trip (Sunday). What do you all recommend we do there? It seems to be huge from all the videos I've watched! Any restaurants that you would suggest? I haven't been there since it was still DTD.
Thanks!
We didn't eat there, however, I did manage to notice that The Boathouse is undergoing massive renovations (it's been stripped, so, not even an option as of now, I think, but who knows how fast they managed to get that back up). Back in December we did venture over to Raglan Road and had an absolute blast (BFF + I), so, if you've never been, please do! It's such a wonderful spot!34 days for us. Sept 24-30. We'll be celebrating my daughter's birthday while we're there (Oct 1) and it's also mine and my kid's first time to Disneyworld. It looks like we have 2 more days to change our magic band order so they must be going out very soon. It's starting to feel real!
It will be my niece, nephew and BiL's first trip to WDW. My wife and I will be celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary on the trip also.
We are also going back in Nov. for the Wine & Dine half and then my wife and some of her friends are doing the Dopey Challenge in Jan 2017. A lot of WDW time for us over the next 5 or so months. We have already started planning our Sept. 2017 anniversary trip also.
Is anyone nervous? This is my first time traveling as an adult AND parent. I've never been to Disney and I'm a huge worrier. I'm worried about getting to the airport on time, our carry ons being too heavy, getting delayed, problems with check in. Despite us prepaying everything we were asked for a cc when I checked us in online (no I get it though, they HAVE to, jic) and I'm trying desperately to pay it off so that way in case they put a hold on it (I've been told many times they don't, but like I said WORRIER) then there is money there.
I think it's holding my excitement back a bit. I'm so envious of my kids right now. I never got to experience Disney without being the grownup.
