++ The OFFICIAL November 2012 Trip Planners ++

We are booked at VWL...there will be 10 of us total:goodvibes
Super excited:cool1:
what do you guys use for planning...park hours, crowd calenders, show/fireworks/parade times??
I feel like I am so far behind with the planning:scared1:

oops forgot to say we will be there Nov. 2nd-Nov 9th!!

We're taking the kids down for their first trip Nov. 9-18. Going to be staying at POR. Waiting to book when Southwest has the flights available. So excited, haven't been since 2000 when DH stayed at ASSports.

I am hoping some of you seasoned Fall/Winter WDW travelers can help me. I have always visited during Spring/Summer when it is HOT! I truly have no clue how to pack for a November (11-18) visit. There are four adults and one toddler (will be 25 months). I have checked avg. temps and it seems it can still get pretty hot during the day, but then I have read some TR that make it seem fairly cool. I know I am going to have to plan for a variety of weather, but can any of you give me any tips on "must haves" to pack?

Thanks!

We are going that week too and we were there that time last year. As far the weather you are right you have to go prepared. Last year we wore heavy sweatshirts and gloves the first two days and then burned up in t-shirts and capris with no jackets even at night the other five.

pack for anything. seriously. We've been the first week of December many times and last December trip (early Dec 2010) it was FREEZING. literally wear gloves, scarves and coats cold. It might be a little better in NOvember, we've only done early December and October. Last year we did mid October and it was pretty warm.

We plan to pack layers for us- we are going Nov 8-17th. I'll do jeans or capris for night and shorts for day if it is warm enough. We do plan to swim if warm enough too. We bring lightweight jackets or hoodies. Even when warm outside, the restaurants and shops can be chilly with the AC pumped up. But we usually plan on layers to accommodate everything you might get that time of year.

so must haves:
light weight jacket or hoodie
light weight scarf
rain jacket and poncho
swim suit!
shorts/capris for day time with short sleeve shirts or tanks if warm
long sleeve shirts to layer under t-shirts and jeans for night if cold
hats

woo hoo=- been checking the TA site all day, just saw them after lunch. Now to plan!!!!

DH and I always go to WDW in Nov. This year we are going down with DH's family to celebrate his parents 50th Anniversary! There will be 9 of us total.

We will be at the Grand Floridian from Nov 5 -10 ( the first time there for Dh and I )
and we will be taking a 4 day DCL cruise starting on Nov 11 (This is a first for all of us)

We can't wait :cool1:

After switching our November trip to October, then to January, then back to October, I can finally say, we are back to November and can't be more thrilled.

We will be at the VWL from Nov 9th to the 17th. I can't wait and no more switching.

Now to decide on ADR's since the hours are out. Happy planning everyone.

We have never been to Disney in November, but this year we are going November 25th through December 1st. Staying at Pop Century and praying for warm weather.

Normally, my wife and I prefer to go in December, but it looks like this year we are going to have to choose from New Year's week or Thanksgiving week and it looks like turkey is gonna win!

So hopefully, we will be down there from 11/16-11/24. Any advice from people who have been there Turkey week?

I'll be in WDW from Nov 4th-the 8th. I'm just wondering if anybody knows why Hollywood Studios is closing at 4pm on the 8th? I called WDW and they knew nothing about it, saying the time schedule wasn't out yet, even though I saw the times on their site. Also, if it says that MK is open until 9pm, does that mean that they won't be hosting the Christmas party those days?

We are officially booked for Nov 18-23. Any tips for thanksgiving week? We've been but always been summer or spring.
