If you have not had a look yet the DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

I'll be in WDW from Nov 4th-the 8th. I'm just wondering if anybody knows why Hollywood Studios is closing at 4pm on the 8th? I called WDW and they knew nothing about it, saying the time schedule wasn't out yet, even though I saw the times on their site. Also, if it says that MK is open until 9pm, does that mean that they won't be hosting the Christmas party those days?

The 2012 MVMCP schedule isn't out yet - usually comes out near the end of April. Last year the first night was on November 8th. MK closing at 7PM usually means the party is on.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving week this year! Our DVC waitlist for AKV came through yesterday!! Which was unbelievably quick because we just put it in a couple of days ago (we had been booked for SSR).

A few more weeks and then the ADR fun begins! :rotfl:

Okay so I searched and havent seen a November 2012 thread yet for us to post in and share our planning! Some people might think that its a little early but I feel like its never too early to start planning your next Disney vacation!

We have our resies at the Beach Club! My 2 dd's and I will arrive Sat, Nov 3 and DH is joining us Monday. We will leave Sunday, Nov 11. I am SO EXCITED to stay 8 nights! That's the longest we've ever stayed before!!! And we are looking forward to staying outside the World Showcase and enjoying Epcot and the last week of the Food & Wine Festival.
Just found out the Wine & Dine half marathon is that Saturday night - thought for about 5 minutes about doing that! But then decided that would NOT be a relaxing way to end our long vacation!:scared:

someone on another thread said private event for the early closing at HS...also looks like Nov 2 MK closing at 7:00 will be the last MNSSHP and the following Friday closing at 7:00 will be the first MVMCP

Hi all, joining you in the wait! We'll be at Bay Lake Towers November 24-Dec 2. Very excited to see the announcement this weekend that the Little Mermaid ride and Be Our Guest Restaurant "will be open for the holiday season," whatever that means! Can only imagine dining reservations will be crazy when they finally open up for that, I know I'll be one of those getting up at the crack of dawn for that one, LOL! :hyper:

Did we lose our OP along the way somewhere?

We have booked for 14-21 November to celebrate DH 40th birthday on 17th. We have tickets for MVMCP on 15th. This is our 5th trip to WDW and we are staying at CR. Can't wait!

Just bought tickets to MNSSHP for Oct. 30 and MVMCP for Nov 9........the first night and a Friday
Excited to go to both in one trip :woohoo:

I think we did lose our OP! I wish the the trip list would be updated.

Just purchased the tickets for MVMCP. I am so excited. :hyper:

Just a few more days, and I can do my dining reservations.

I was told today that I am crazy for talking Xmas in May, however the sooner I can get plans nailed down the happier I will be.

Hey everyone! I'm hopping over here from the Oct '12 thread! I just changed my dates to November 22-29, and I'm soooo excited!! I have so much planning to do (again!) but I'm excited about it--that's the DISer in me!! haha I have never been during the crowded times, so if you guys have any tips for me let me know!! We will be attending MVMCP as well!! I just wanted to drop a line and say hello to my fellow November friends!!! By the way, I'm Brandilyn---Nice to meet you all!:flower3:

I'm sure I will be changing a bunch of them as time goes on, but I am dying of excitement. We made reservations for our first time at Victoria and Albert's and Le Cellier! (Although I am cheating and going to Le Cellier when I am at WDW over Memorial Day weekend with my sister, it will be my husband's first time there.) :)

As of last night, two of my closest friends and I have a short trip booked for November 2nd-6th and we will be staying at the Pop Century! :)

I have a question..

I hit my 180 days on Friday. So I sat down this morning to do my dining reservations and I am having issues.

I was able to make the dining reservations for the first two days of my trip, but I am not able to get anything past those two days. The website is telling me it is not 180 days out.

I know that previously, once I hit my 180 I could do all my reservations at once for the trip, I didn't have to do it day by day.

Am I the only one hitting this hiccup or did it change recently and I am going to have to do all my reservations day by day?

Thanks for your help!!

On the plus side, I did get my Le Cellier for lunch on the 8th!! pixiedust:

***EDIT, I called Disney Dining and answered my own question. It is a day by day reservation. Spoke with a nice guy named Oliver who explained it to me.

In an odd way it makes me happy, kind of makes the planning last a bit longer. So sad I know.

Hello fellow November planners. Hope you all had a fabulous Mother's Day!

We've finally decided that we are going to cancel our trip for this November. While I'm very sad about having to cancel, I know that when our entire family goes in November 2013, it will be so awesome! So you can remove us from the attendance list...but I'll still flip through this thread to gather ideas for next year.

Where are you staying? I thought that guests staying at Disney-owned resorts may make reservations for their whole vacation (up to 10 days) on the 180th day?
