bnbmom,

Sorry about the picture thing. It sure would have been nice to have her picture up there. Don't feel like one of those moms. She obviously works very hard and deserves some recognition. I'm glad the other thing came through for her.

Please congratulate her on making the honor roll. :thumbsup2

Hey ladies (I'm doing that in my best Beastie Boys voice).
(as I hear a bell ringing....):)
That's the first thing (aside from Jace) that has made me smile and chuckle all day. Thanks I needed that. We have a standard daily meeting at 9:30am at work and everyday I say "Looking at my Gucci it's about that time" and nobody ever gets my BBoys reference (I work with Lame-Os). BTW, I once saw them in concert :rotfl2:

Anywhoo...I'm a miserable crank and honestly have been feeling :furious:. It's totally hormonaly related and every month seems worse. When do all these prego hormones leave your body???? C'mon now it's been a year since I nursed...why do I still have leaking?? Dr. does not seem concerned. I say ***??? I'm just so angry this week and stressed out. And I don't think I could scarf down anymore chocolate if I tried (but clearly I'll try)

Lissawyn: Hope you are feeling better. Get that Iron in. I agree with Robin - eat a fat burger!
FF: Glad Kona is feeling better!!
DisKim: Happy Belated to Emily! Man, she is gonna get such a thrill for Christmas with that puppy!!
Robin: Happy Bday to Sam! :rotfl: :rotfl2: Me laughing at your "vindicating" of shopping for Molly! Like you (and I) really need a reason to shop ;)
BNB: I would say something. She should get the recognition she deserves. :woohoo: to go Jocelyn.
Z: Oh, what a warm feeling I got reading about your dining at WL. Ah...living vicariously thru others who have gone/are going to WDW. Sounds like a nice mini trip!
Nucpharm: HOpe you got your little =^..^= nap.
SL: glad Lucas survived his shot and :cheer2: for your raise!
J&D: Love the balloon smilie. Hope the Bball game went well.
Fab: I don't think I've told u how cute your new photos of the girls are...so sweet.
GM: Sorry the job search is not going so well. Here's sending you some luck on a good find pixiedust: :wizard:
Dizagain: You say you don't know what a WAPASDI (or whatever) cheerleader is. I don't know what any of it means or is LOL!! What is this whole thing about anyway??

Sorry I wasn't around much this weekend. I did a lot of shopping. In fact, I'm almost done and very happy about it. Of course DH says he'll take care of his family's gifts every year. And every year about a week before CHristmas he cries Uncle and expects me to produce a miracle. :rotfl: He's on his own for them this year. I must say though, he always gets my gifts very early - he's thoughtful for me and Jace....just nobody else. :)

Jace has been getting hurt at daycare. Yesterday he fell on or off the slide (not sure) and bumped his eye. I picked him up and it was all puffy and red. Today I picked him up and he had a bloody lip from falling off something else. I'm sure they could watch him better, but he's such a daredevil it scares me. He's a climber and limit tester. What a good ride buddy he will make for WDW when he gets older!!!! We have a slide in our living room (wow, that sounds rediculous huh?) and he goes down head first or starts going down regular then flips over onto his belly 1/2 way down. My brother was like that....oh crap we are in trouble!!!!!!

Well, I'm off to demolish a few more Fudge Sticks DH scored for me last night at the grocery, watch HEROES and go to bed early to prepare for another craptastic day at work tomorrow (we've been so busy this week it stinks!).

Have a great night all!
:)

Ok, here are some shots from our trip: Tomorrow, I will have DH upload the one with us arriving after the CM's embarrassed us immensly. But for now here are some.

Me, minutes after we arrived, happy with our room location and no crying children yet: (and I just realized we never got a shot of the 4 of us together)

DH and the kids at DTD - NOTE the pink Airwalks Cam has on and they do stay on and she keeps them on! WOO HOO!

Like this of Connor but getting them to look at the camera at the same time proved impossible

P1010045.jpg

I actually like this one but need to edit it

P1010048-1.jpg

Me, about the lose my mind. I stole the washcloth from the lobby bathroom to wipe Cam's nose that ran constantly. I wanted to make a mad dash for cheese danish instead of take these pictures at this point. Actually some nice older groundskeeping CM's drove up and took pity on us and gave the kids each a little plastic donald duck and goofy. They were really cute! Score!

P1010055.jpg

And finally this is me after the trip, ready for the loony bin.

P1010019.jpg

Hope you enjoyed the madness. We're off to catch up on shows we missed and DVR'd. See you tomorrow!

quick - I'm on the way to clean my bathroom which should have been done on Sunday but I went shopping instead. Much more fun.

Joats...I just had to :rotfl2: ...my DH does the SAME thing. Every single year he says he has his family covered and every single time he does NOTHING and asks me to come up with an idea and shop the last week. I'm laughing now, but I sure won't be in a few weeks... Sorry about Jace the wild man and his injuries! I'm sure I have that to look forward to now that I have a boy after my two girls!

zalansky - What awesome pics! You could probably enter the one of Cam touching the tree in some contest - so sweet! At least the kiddos were dressed in such cute clothes they look like angels no matter what!

ginamarie - I forgot earlier, glad you made your appt. sooner rather than much later - you won't have as long to worry. :grouphug:

B&B - way to go, Jocelyn!!!

Ok, now I really have to go accomplish something since I have help with the boy!!! Goodnight!

Hi everyone! I'm finally over my illness but Henry seems to have gotten another cold so he has been taking up a lot of my seemingly little free time lately. I thought I was okay on Saturday but Sunday I was ill again and that little thought from BnB really had me scared. But yesterday and today I've been fine, but of course that was just when Henry's cold got worse. Either that or it's a new cold. Who knows. Madison has this one too and she's supposed to get a flu shot tomorrow. They better still do it despite her runny nose.

Alice28 - The CR has self serve Icee machines and you can use the reusable mugs for them so maybe you'll be lucky with the Dole Whips! Technically, I didn't ask anyone about the Icees, but the sign to buy a refillable mug is on the Icee machine so what else could I infer? And the CM never said anything to me when I took the mug to the cashier if I bought something else too.

And sorry about the Gymbo outfits. When Madison was 17 months we took her to a movie and bought her a cherry Icee. She spilled it on the floor, then fell in it, and got her Gymbo light blue sea theme pants and white top covered in red Icee and black filth from the movie theater floor. I took her to the bathroom immediately and tried to get the stains out but no luck. Then she was so wet I had to carry her back to the movie in just her diaper. Stupidly we planned for her portraits that day after the movie so that idea was scrapped. I Oxycleaned the pants and though it ate holes in them the stains never came out. Sadly, I bought another pair of the pants when the went on sale cause I thought they were just too cute to have ruined like that.

Zalansky - Glad to hear that your trip was great and that you get to extend your next trip by a day or 2! My husband will be very jealous that you got a YoaMD prize. He kept eyeing those Dream FPs everytime we saw one. And just to let you know, Madison has literally not let those Cars toys leave her hands since they arrived. She took Lightning McQueen to school the past 2 days too.

Fabumouse - Those pictures of your girls are so cute! Madison has that snowflake Gymbo dress too and she wore it for her Santa photo.

Icebrat - That's great that you got all those clothes and for such a good price too. Looks like you guys are really preparing for Tess-must be an exciting time! And Nick, well, he's an interesting addition to our family. He's made his rounds in WDW so if your DP doesn't think there is anything for a 2yo, assure her that if an alligator can have fun, so can a 2yo!

Joats - Jace sounds like a wildman! Yet he looks so innocent in those photos.... And my mom has a slide in her living room too and it seems to bring out the wild side in all kids who use it. Luckily for me Madison has calmed down a bit from her days of standing on my kitchen table.

Henry's coughing so I'm gonna go hold him and let him sleep on my chest for awhile. I thought I'd finish the Christmas stuff but looks like that isn't gonna happen tonight. Maybe I'll finally finish my trip report while I'm holding him.

ETA: Z - Great photos!!! I can just sense your exasperation in that photo outside with the kids. I had a very similar night on our last trip but luckily my husband did not have the camera with us at the moment to document it. I noticed you have a Peg Perego Pliko P3 (either that or I'm hallucinating cause I want one so much!). How do you like that stroller? I have wanted it for literally a year cause it has that standing bar on the back for Madison, but then my husband thought we should get one of those Sit and Stand types so that she has a seat, not just a standing bar. Fine. So for a year I've been looking, and there are basically 2 of them-Joovy and this new FP one. I like them both, but they're big, heavy, don't fold well, and have not gotten the best reviews. The Pliko seems to have rave reviews though and it's so much smaller, lighter, and folds so nicely. I told him this weekend I think I want the Pliko even though there's no seat and he thinks I'm insane. Madison never used the stroller prior to Henry though so I don't think we'd need the seat that much cause once she knows she has a seat I think it will wear off. She's always been fine walking and really only uses the stroller a lot cause of my commando husband's inability to walk at her pace. So anyway, now that you know all this useless information, what do you think, should I get the Pliko? (Or maybe you don't even have that stroller and just think I'm insane! :lmao: )

Hi moms, how was everyone's Thanksgiving? Ours was fun but over to quickly. But that means it's CHRISTMAS TIME so who cares, right? I'm sorry I've been MIA for so long, I just can't seem to find the time to catch up. The last page I read was 658 :earseek: I'm just going to have to jump back in and accept the fact that I've missed so much. Can someone please give me a quick recap of what I've missed? Bellacam, I did catch a glimpse of your precious baby girl, CONGRATS! :cloud9: Also welcome to all the new mommies!

I just popped on really quick to say THANK YOU to lissawynn for the wonderful package! It arrived Friday as we were heading out the door to go up north, so we brought it with us. It was loaded with great stuff- stacking blocks and books for Jack, a Mickey antenna topper and Mickey Mouse list pad for me :teeth: , two sets of Mickey silverware so there won't be any fights (which have already started :sad2: ), a Mickey Mouse Christmas memory book and a Mickey coloring book, and Alex's favorite new toy- a car that has flames on the side that light up and moves forward and backwards (off the table or other raised surfaces 99% of the time  ) and talks too. We love it all and it was fun opening it.

I gotta go finish decorating the tree and put Jack to bed, have a great night everyone!

Hey everybody :wave2: ,
I only have a quick minute but I wanted to say Happy Birthday to Sam :bday: and Happy Birthday to Emmy :bday: !

I'm glady to see you Ryan :sunny: ! Hope you are all doing well.

Loretta,
What great pictures :) . They made me smile :teeth: .

Lissawynn,
Hope you enjoyed you steak :) .

Joats,
Jace sounds a lot like my ds at that age. Hope he doesn't come home with any boo boos tomorrow.

GM,
Good luck finding a part time job. I hope you find something perfect very soon :goodvibes .

Gems,
I'm sure shope will be a success :thumbsup2 .

Robin,
Thanks for the updates on Jill and GLT. Sorry about Molly and the bleach. I actually got bleach on one of my shirts today too  . Luckily it was a $4 one.

I know I'm missing a lot of people but my eyes are drooping. Talk to you all soon  .

Oh yeah I forgot to say that I'm going to be an unofficial cheerleader for Robin, Jen, and Ginamarie for WPASDI because I have no clue really what it is or how to sign up as an official cheerleader. But I do hope our moms get to win some neat prizes :cheer2: .

SL,
Congrats on the raise!

Okay, now I'm really going :rolleyes1 . Good night all.

Hi Ryan! Good to see you! Don't even worry about trying to catch up. Besides Bellacam's new baby, we are praying for Zalansky's father, as he is in the hospital with what looks like terminal cancer :guilty: , and GLT is going through a rough time as she decided to separate from her husband. So we are keeping both those ladies in our thoughts these days. :grouphug:

The rest of us have just been chatty. ;)

Z- LOVE the pictures! That shot of you in the hallway is great- you look so good! Love the googly eyes too- I often feel like that after a hard time with the kids! The kids look SO CUTE in their Disney finery! And finally, I love the view of TOT from your room! Neat-o!

Joats- here's me when I read 'craptastic' :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: . That just struck me as totally funny. Oh, and my boys ALWAYS had a bump or bruise on their head from about age 15 months to 2 and a half. Molly has had I think one 'owie' on her face. She's pretty daredevil, but is more careful than the boys or something. And I'll join you with the hormonal surges of rage at times....I just could scream sometimes- still no Aunt Flo for me. :furious: And that bag of CAdbury chocolates I bought last night? Almost gone....and I'm not even supposed to eat it! I will say Joshua had about 1/5- 1/4 of it though- he was eating them like M and Ms and I was like, "No, no! Savor the Cadbury! Enjoy it! Don't just suck them down!"

justhat- I remember the Icee at CR! We put it in our mugs too- Sam thought that was the COOLEST ever. But I also remember there was a self serve ice cream machine- I never considered putting ice cream in my mug....would be nice though- add a little soda on top for a float. Mmmmmmmmm.... :cloud9: Oh man, that Icee incident with the Gymbo doesn't sound pretty- I'm glad you were able to get a replacement pant later on sale!

BNB- Grrr about the paint on the shirt, but YAY about J making academic scholar! WTG Jocelyn! :Pinkbounc

Well, I don't know much. The only place I went today was to Carl's Jr to get a char-grilled hamburger. After I suggested to Alisa to get one, I couldn't get it out of my head! :rolleyes1 I fed Molly a hot dog and oranges right before we went, and then she was MAD I didn't get her chicken nuggets! She is at the point where she 'gets it' now. She chanted, "Shhhhi--kun! Shhhhi----kkuNNNN!" The whole way home. I felt bad! And then we were out of frozen chicken nuggets at home! Time to go to Costco or the store tomorrow, god forbid we not have nuggets! :scared1:

justhat,

Get the Pliko!!! It's the best stroller we've ever owned. It is very lightweight and easy to fold. :thumbsup2

loretta,

Your photos are great! I love the one of Cam by the tree.

Hi to vald1977 and ryan840

OMG, I completely forgot to say Happy Birthday to Sam and a Belated Happy Birthday to Emily!! I'm sooooo sorry. What kills me is that I actually remembered them and came on to post that and then totally forgot. Maybe I should wish Emma a Happy Early Birthday given my memory lately.

Alice28 I never noticed the self serve ice cream. Probably cause I was pregnant and going through a sweet aversion at the time. Good thing cause I would have had way too much ice cream. Not in the mug though!!

FF I knew you had a Pliko! I remembered you mentioning it a year ago but then when I was searching I couldn't find anything about it on our thread and DH insisted I was making it up cause I want the stroller. Thanks!

justhat - Good eye! I wanted to respond real quick about the Pliko. Yes it is a Pliko and yes, I say everyone needs one! When Cameryn was born I made a fatal error and ordered a MacLaren Twin Traveller. We hate it! It is too wide and a pain to maneuver in crowds. I did lots of research online at www.eopinions.com and elsewhere and went to look at the Pliko at Babies R us and ended up with it for a few reasons. (we had an Aria with Connor) It is still very lightweight and very easy to close and open. The major selling points were the 5 point harness, the comfy seat and the canopy that practically goes over the whole seat. We've used the stand up bar for Connor in a pinch but he usually wants to walk. At Disney and in large crowds we always just bring an umbrella stroller for Connor as it is MUCH easier to navigate two strollers instead of one. I love the stroller and am so happy with it! I paid $249 at www.babydealz.com and they shipped it free. The prices go up and down on that site. Wow I got long winded yet again! I am thrilled to hear Madison loves her Cars toys! I have to tell you I really wanted to send an outfit for Madisons alligator (I digress, I forget its name!) but I didn't know what size it wore! Am I pathetic? I was so sad about that because I thought it'd be cute and she'd appreciate that.

Robin - I secretly like that photo of me in the hallway...two reasons, I have glasses on so you can't see my massive under eye wrinkles and circles and also because I lost about 6 pounds due to recent stress! I am no Christie Brinkley but I was feeling pretty good about that one. (hee hee, so i posted it) Then compare that to the last two shots.

Off to bed. Goodnight ladies. :cloud9:

No DH goes un-scathed. He lost his marbles too but just doesn't share it an an open forum message board. So I will do the honors.

I NEED TO RESIZE THIS BABY!
P1010020.jpg

z-your pics are great! Thanks for sharing! I could definitely feel your pain during that photo taken outside with the kids. I've been there more times than I care to mention. I can only fathom what our "vacation" will be like in April! A 3 year old and 16month old--I must be crazy!!! Congrats on being the family of the day! Pretty cool!

ryan--good to hear from you!

alice--Happy Birthday to Sam!

sl--congrats on the raise!

justhat--thanks for the early bday wishes for Emma-I confirmed her bday party at Chuck E Cheese yesterday-I am soooooo dreading it!!!! But she talks about nothing else, so at least she'll be happy--and I don't have to cook, set up or clean! :thumbsup2

joats--Matthew is also a little daredevil--and now that he's walking he's into everything, except the christmas tree, which is fine by me. The other day I caught him using Emma's little piano as a step stool to pull himself up on to her bed, which is at least 3 ft. off the ground! Boys!

Well, I better go--eyes are getting droopy, never got that catnap today. Such is life! Will check in tomorrow!

Just wanted to let zalansky and GLT know that I'm thinking of them and will keep them in my prayers. If there's anything I can do please let me know. :grouphug:

Nucpharm - Emma will love her birthday party! Madison loves that place and I dread going too, but she really has fun. And what better way to have a party than to have some one else set up, cook, and clean!? Our Chuck Es are sorta far away so I don't think I can have Madison's party there but I so want to just for the simplicity. They're like 45 minutes from here though so I don't think anyone will want to drive that far. We only go when we visit my friend who lives near a few of them. Lucky her.

I'm off to bed cause I'm so tired and my husband's back to his regular medicine wards so that means I have to take Madison to school everyday again. Tomorrow's her flu shot so I've got that to look forward to also.

I meant to say, thank you for all the well-wishes for Sam's birthday!

We had the celebratory Pizza Hut for his choice for dinner...I ate too much! That is the one kind of pizza that for whatever reason I can pig out on. With other pizzas I'm good with just one slice.

I can't believe my baby is 9. He kept asking me all day when he was REALLY 9; it was at 5:05 pm. He was excited when the clock finally hit that. My other two were born at night after dealing with the induction all day long.

Hi Val!

Z- LOL at your DH! :rotfl2: We have some of those eyeballs around here somewhere, as I 'stuffed a skull' for Sam when I went with Mom last May. And I hope you are able to add on a few more days for March. That will be the tail end of our 10 days- I might call you in a tizzy to meet me at a bar a 2nd time as I'm sure my DH will be driving me batty by the end of the trip....if not him than my kids or my parents! ;)

DH is watching some candy show on Modern Marvels on the history channel- they featured See's! Now we both want chocolate. He found my Santa Stash of Santa milky ways in the basement....they *were* for stockings. Guess I will have to replace those!

You know what I wish I could have for lunch tomorrow? A sandwich from Earl of Sand.....I can't wait to eat there again! I love the chicken salad- yum, yum, yum!

Happy Hump Day! It's not too early to start thinking about the weekend is it? This week is dragging.

Alice28 - I never had a Dole Whip and I feel like I'm missing out. I almost had one last trip...walked up to the counter in Adventureland and everything, but decided on bottled water instead. Happy official bday to Sam!

fabumouse - Good luck with the jogging. I can't run at all but I can walk (even the fast, ridiculous hand motion walk) like a champ.

J&D - How did your DH's basketball team do?

nucpharm - Good luck with the Chuck E Cheese party.

zalansky - Great pictures! Extending your next stay sounds like a fantastic idea to me.

BnB - Self serve funnel cake... :rotfl2: I guess it's best to leave the situation with Jocelyn at school alone as long as she's not upset. Congratulations to her!

DisKim - I can't wait to see a picture of your house all done up for Christmas. I have a feeling it's going to make mine look really lame. :lmao:

dizagain -

floridafam - Glad to hear Kona is doing so much better.

lissawynn - I hope you're feeling better. Did you have that big juicy steak last night?

joats - I'm a horrible crank too and it's pretty much all the time. I'm attributing it to the BC pills. Hope the fudge sticks made it better.

justhat - Glad you're feeling better and I hope Henry and Madison aren't sick for long.

ryan840 - Good to see you! :wave2: Despite the cold, Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year.

val - I hope the Christmas rush at work isn't too overwhelming.

Someone posted on the budget board that the $29 refurbished ipod shuffles were back up this morning.

Zalansky - Thanks for the info on the stroller. That site has some cheap ones, of course not the colors I want, but I might have to just deal with that cause I can't justify paying an extra $50 for a certain color. I'll probably wait till January though so I've shelled out a bit of money on Christmas stuff recently so maybe they'll have a color I want on sale then.

That's so cute that you wanted to buy Nick an outfit. I don't even know what size he is cause while I've thought of that a few times my husband is very quick to point out that we do not need to spend money clothing the alligator. Madison loves to dress him up though and uses either her stuff or Henry's since he doesn't have any stuff of his own. He even went to school dressed up one day.

BTW, we tried to get Christmas card photos of just Madison in DTD by those characters that look like snowmen at the entrance and it was a disaster. She was 9 months old so you'd think it would have been easy but she just kept crawling away. We've only taken photos of them together for a purpose once so far, Halloween, and it was a nightmare I am not looking forward to repeating for our Christmas photos.

SL - I'm a crank all the time too and don't have an BC pills to blame it on! :lmao:

Alice28 - Cute that Sam wanted to know when he actually turned 9. I remember waiting for the clock around that age too. Oh, and thanks for the complements on my age. Ya know how you said you feel around 17, I agree with that, but then I look around and wonder who these 2 kids are and how I got them. ;) They make me feel like I was time warped to 56 instead of 26, especially with the time I go to bed lately. :lmao: So thanks for making me feel better!

Ryan840 - It's great to hear from you! I was wondering how you were doing since you hadn't posted in awhile. Don't worry about catching up with everything-I didn't post for 2 days and I feel like it's impossible!

I have to get ready to get Madison already. Well, not leave for about 40 minutes, but Henry needs to be fed, changed, etc. and I have clothes to throw in the dryer, toys to pick up, etc. Madison's generally good about cleaning up her toys when you tell her, but last night DH got her ready for bed while I was falling asleep upstairs with Henry so when I got down the house was still a mess but she was on her way to bed so no need to stall that. Of course now it means that I'm picking up toys today. Not sure which is better.

ETA: I added some of the christening photos to my trip report. That way if you ladies don't want to see them you don't have to! Here's the link: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1277961 - and they're on the 2nd page after the end of the trip stuff.
