Diskim- DH brought all our Christmas stuff from my grandparents house on Thursday. Its all around the tree now, in boxes, looking less than festive. I was going to decorate everything tomorrow, but my mom got called into work a little while ago for the day shift (she was on call), so Ill have the monstersI mean my little siblings.
BNB- DBro also thinks its Christmas already. I bought him a couple of small things at BJs but told him that he has to wait until Christmas to get them. He keeps saying it IS Christmas, right mom, right Ginamarie, right grandma, its Christmas right? Poor kid.
Lissawynn- Thats quite a hall of gymbo stuff. I cant help thinking what it would look like if that woman on line in front of you took pictures of all the clothes she bought.
Dizagain- that commercial sounds just awful. Cute pictures!
Floridafam- Im glad Kona is doing better.
Alice- I dont understand how someone could fail to potty train a FOUR year old. I know I get a little over the top about getting kids started early, but seriously, a four year old has more than adequate mental and physical capacity to be potty trained!!!
Icebrat- February will be here before you know it. I hope the adoption process goes relatively smoothly, because things will be much easier for you guys when the adoption thing is finalized.
OK, Im starting to come down from the high of getting picked for WPASADI. Things were so busy today that I completely forgot they would be picking the teams. Spanksgiving was a LOT of work, and I made too much food, but gosh it was so good. The fully organic ridiculously expensive fresh turkey was really good, though Im glad we didnt pay full price for it. We had cold cuts, fresh mozzarella and cheeses for antipasta. Then we had pasta and this incredible Italian bean soup. I cant wait to be eating the leftovers of that. Next was the big course, turkey, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, creamed spinach, mushrooms, stuffing, hot cinnamon apples, and homemade gravy. For dessert we had pumpkin bread (thanks nucpharm!), citrus pound cake, spice cake, hot chocolate cake, and pecan pie along with roasted chestnuts and fruits. I took lots of pictures, though you guys know how far behind I fall with these things. You probably wont see any until new years! I was please with everything though, and no one went home hungry at all, even though I sent people all out with leftovers.
The living room, which was getting close to being finished organizationwise is now filled with Christmas stuff. DH is watching the hockey game (and the Islanders are winning) so hes in a good mood. Everything was just too good today. Im afraid Im going to wake up tomorrow to complete chaos.
