I don't have much time to post since I'm an idiot and I'm going to school sick. It's just such a pain to get plans together and I miss so much of my honors block by not being there one day. Emily is sick too. She has the same thing as Aidan. The two sickos were laying around cuddling yesterday. It was adorable. It looks like our weekend trip to NC is not going to happen.

lglblonde - Welcome and thank you for sharing your story. I'm so glad Jake is healthy now! He is so adorable! Enjoy the rest of your maternity leave.

Tasha - Kylie looks so grown up!! What a doll! Those pictures are great!

lissawynn - I hope everything gets out of your system today. It's just awful to be sick when you are pregnant.

gems - "full blown man flu" :lmao: :rotfl2: . I cracked up at that comment. Is that a medical diaganosis? It should be. Well, I hope your DH feels better soon so he doesn't drive you nuts. Have fun seeing Flumpy today. I got a scan every week when I was pregnant with Aidan and I got so excited to see him every time.

I better go. Have a good day!!

Tasha - somehow I missed the new pics of Kylie last night. They came out great! Kylie is such a beautiful little girl, love the chipmunks and her shirt! :thumbsup2

Morning all!

I just spent the past 30 min. trying to clean up OJ that Emma spilled all over the couch and floor--she apparently can now take the lid off the sippy cups-Note to self: no more drinks out of the kitchen!

I can really say that I love DH's new job--mainly b/c of the freebies! He got a $25 gift card to Walmart last week b/c they haven't had an accident in the plant for so many days, then last night he brought home 2 cases of Huggies supreme baby wipes, and then next week he is supposed to be getting a $50 gift card b/c of how well the wipes are selling!!! So keep buying those huggies products (especially the wipes!! ;) )

Alice--hope you are feeling better after passing the stone

lissawyn and diskim--hope you are both feeling a little better today!

gems--LOL about the man-flu!!! Mine definitely comes down with it as well! :rotfl2:

lglblonde--thanks for sharing your website--it's really moving!

Well, I better go and get in the shower--Matthew is already down for his morning nap--guess what time we were up this am??? Then off to gymnastics and then I have to take a drug test for my new job (does excessive caffeine count as a drug?????) Have a great day all!

Hi Mommies,

The Doctor just called. Everything came back fine on my CT Scan. :cool1: :goodvibes I'm still having the pain but it is a huge relief to know that nothing showed up. What a great way to start the day.

I have no idea what is causing the pain but I'm sure I will get to the bottom of it. I don't have a rash or I'd be certain it was shingles because the pain is very similar to when I had them before. I had a stress test and blood workup last year. The stress test was fine. My cholesterol and C-reactive protein were a little elevated but everything was pretty much okay. :confused3

I went out to take the kids to school and realized that DH had the car seat in his car so we had to walk. I can't believe that it's October and it's still too hot to walk the kids to school. I was dripping wet by the time we got back here so I guess I'm going to take another shower.

zalansky,

Thanks for thinking of me when you received the coupon. I'd love it if you aren't going to use it. I may be buying a new bra at the mall next week. I'm not sure if my bra is causing my pain but I'm going to continue to try some different ones. I'll PM you today.

lissawynn and DisKim,

Sorry to hear you are both still under the weather. :guilty: :grouphug:

DisKim,

How is your Aunt doing?

LglBlonde,

Glad to hear baby Jake is doing well. :grouphug: :thumbsup2 :cool1:

I will check back in a bit.

These are the people who have PM'd me to tell me they sent their exchange packages out.

DisKim
Strawberry Lemonade
llij
nucpharm29
Alice28

I know more packages than that have gone out so can you PM me if you do not see your name on the list and you have already mailed your package.

:sunny:

nucpharm,

Huggies wipes are on my list for the store. We use Huggies wipes (Natural Care unscented) and Pampers but I told DH I was thinking of picking up Huggies today because I do NOT like the new Pampers.

We got two Huggies diapers in the mail this week and I tried them and they seemed to fit a little better than the Pampers.

The only problem is I won't get my Pampers points :rotfl: I've managed to save almost enough for a little tricycle.

Off to get Kona some breakfast. They are coming to detail the car at 10:00 so I've got to make sure it is cleaned out.

Morning!! No storms last night...but we were ready! Looks like GLT may have gotten them instead this time and you north easterners may be in for it later...hope not! Carson slept his longest ever last night - 9:30-3:45 -

Lglblonde - THANK YOU SO MUCH for popping in and sharing Jake with us! I just could not stop thinking of you guys since we were all due about the same time - very emotional! Jake went home the day Carson was born! Jake is a cutie!

floridafam - so glad to hear your tests came back fine - I know you would like an answer to this pain, though. Hopefully you can find out what it is soon and perhaps do something about it! And I just opened a bag of Huggies wipes (had Pampers so far) and they are SO MUCH better!!

nucpharm - isn't it fun to get freebies from your DH's work? I used to get so much food for free and how my DH has changed positions and doesn't have the access or "official" need for samples. Just the other day, DD was telling her friend to go ahead and take a handful of snacks because they were free - I had to correct her fast! :)

diskim and lissawynn - feel better soon!

T16Gem - Sorry for you having a "deathly ill" DH at home...isn't it fun how they can just go to bed and not worry about anything else? My DH came home early yesterday because his throat was sore. Today he offered to stay home and work for a few hours and I could nap, but when I told him he would have to drive the girls in to school for early choir he decided to go to work...

Tasha - good luck with the studying! Kylie is just adorable!!!

ryan840 - hope that furniture sells for you!!!

fabumouse - so glad Kailey had a great day!!! As a teacher, I would never admit to falling for bribery ;) ...you go, girl - whatever works, right?? :) Actually, I'm sure your sweetie is loved on her own merit - she's too cute!

Ugh...the page ran out! I'll have to check back on the thread and see who I missed!!! Today is DH's birthday. So funny, my mom called last night and she said she had to stop and think if this was the "Big One". Nope, not yet - he's 39! I think it bothers him a little :) . Anyway, we got him a Bengals flag for the garden post out front and I'm going to get him two books he wants today. (He's been banned from buying books - I forced him into the library for the first time last month and he loves it!) The girls want to get him I-tunes and Cariboo gift cards so I may pick up very small ones. We can't get him clothes because he's too picky. We'll go out to eat tonight I HOPE. His family always got their favorite meal COOKED for them on their b'day but mine always got to go to their favorite restaurant. My way is MUCH better, don't you think?? :thumbsup2

Have a great day ladies - little one is snoozing and I need a shower if I have to get out and go shopping today. Oohh - and I have to bake the cake so the kids can decorate it!

Hi all! Things have been crazy out here, with DH working long hours and running amok with the kids. I jsut have to make it to Friday! Plus, DH promised that, one day next week, he's going to "call in sick" to give me a day off--what a great guy!

Robin, I'm right there with you and fabumouse about not being able to have chocolate. How am I going to get through the holidays? Giving up leafy greens--no problem. Cranberry juice? Yeah, I'd survive. But this chocolate stuff is killing me!

Tasha--Kylie is adorable! She looks very grown up.

Lglblonde--so glad Jake is doing well. He sure looks good! It's so amazing what they can do these days.

gems--Sorry you have "man flu" in your house--personally, I'd rather be sick myself than deal with that! Good luck, and I hope you get a good "Flumpy" shot!

Alissa--I hope you're feeling better by tomorrow. Try to rest up, if you can.

Well, we had Celeste's first field trip today. We went to a pumkin patch place, with a hay ride, train ride, corn maze (really lame), and of course they got pumpkins. She had a great time, even though it was damp and foggy. We bought apples to make apple crisp, and cider, but the cider was super pricey, so I only got a half gallon, which won't live to see sundown in this house. Apple crisp is DH's favorite--I don't want him re-thinking the whole "day off" thing!

FF--I sent my exchange package.

Tasha- OMG Kylie’s pictures came out great! She’s so cute!

Fabumouse- We’re hoping to do a Disney cruise in fall 2008 too. I wanted to do it in 2007, but money is just too tight. I’m paying off just another 10 months or so on my car though, and then we’ll have an extra $550 a month. Then I won’t have to feel so bad about having a vacation budget

Lglblonde-Welcome to the thread! I’m glad to hear your little boy is doing so well. That’s a lot to have been through in just a couple of months of life!

Gems- I hope your flumpy cooperates and you get to see him well. That nickname is too cute. :sunny:

Lissawynn- I hope you feel better soon.

Nucpharm- the freebies sound good :) I wish I had some extra baby wipes show up once in awhile.

FloridaFam- Glad to hear that all your tests came back negative!

Dizagain- Happy birthday to your DH! :goodvibes

Buzznbelle- I haven't bought apple cider this year at all yet because it's been so expensive. I'm missing it though. I love that stuff.

We’re getting some beautiful weather today. It’s bright and sunny and supposed to go up to 80 degrees today. Of course my office is a freezer box as usual. Olivia went to her 6 month checkup today. She’s up to 15 lbs 6 oz and 25.5 inches, so 75% in height and 50th in weight, but she still has a tiny head (only 25th percentile). She had to get two shots though, which she was less than pleased about. I’m feeling really tired again. There’s just something about Wednesdays!

Olivia and I spent about half an hour walking around the house yesterday trying to find a gauge so we could figure out how much oil is left in our tank. We didn’t have any luck though. I think DH is going to have to take a trip into the crawl space and look directly at the tank. I heard the next few nights temperatures are supposed to go down into the mid 40s, so we’re going to need heat!

I got another coupon for a free Panera pizza at the office today. Woohoo! The only want to make Panera better is with FREE Panera. Oh, and Olivia got cleared to eat “yellow and orange” vegetables. I keep trying to figure out what qualifies as a yellow veggie, but all I can come up with is squash or corn, and I don’t think they make regular corn babyfood because it would be hard to digest. Any ideas on that one?

I’m absolutely pining for our WDW vacation. It’s only two months away now, but it feels like I haven’t been there for an eternity, and that we’ve been planning this trip forever (it’s only been about a year).

Hi Ladies,

I've got a few minutes while Liam is sleeping and before I have to get Kevin on to the schoolbus. Liam is such a stinker - he fights sleep like no child i've ever seen. I finally just let him fuss in his crib for 30 minutes, but now he's out like a light.

Robin - So glad that you passed the stone the other day. I can't even imagine how painful that must have been!

Tamie - So glad to hear you got everything resolved with your Disney Visa and your reservation. You'll be enjoying your trip to WDW before you know it!
:Pinkbounc :goodvibes

Vald - Glad to hear you liked POFQ. Did you take the boat to DTD or walk up to POR? It's a nice sized hotel, and I found it convenient for us when we went there in 2004. I even went down the Serpent slide  . I would probably stay there again, but we're on a mission to try some of the other Mods/Deluxes on our next trip.

Diskim - We just ordered a DVR also! I can't wait to have it installed! Yes, a LC diet is Low Carb. For me, it's the only thing that works. I find when i'm doing low carb, I don't have the crazy 8 pm cravings for snacks because i've had more protein/veggies for dinner. I'm in a wedding in December, and I need to lose at least 10 more pounds to fit into the bulk of my work wardrobe. I really need to start doing situps too.

Justine - at least Madison picked the nicest mall in NJ to have her accident in - LOL. I've been in that pottery barn before (that's where I bought Liam's crib bedding) and the staff in there are super friendly. I just love the pictures that you posted of the kids - my favorite was the one that said "Big Sister, Little Brother" :cloud9:

Jill - Glad to hear your presentation was a success!!! :Pinkbounc. Hope you did well on your test! :teeth:
I remember going to the National Zoo once a few years ago and it was really nice there (and it was hilly because I was pushing Kevin in a stroller).

Ginamarie - Congrats on your new client!!!! :cheer2: :cool1:

Ryan840 - Great deal on the Halloween Costume - you'll have to post pictures of the kids in their costumes for sure! I was smiling when you posted about the balloon because my son would have done the same thing. I thought it was cute what he said about the airplane.

J&D - Glad to hear the photo session of Jenna went well. I can't wait to see the pictures of her in her costume!! :goodvibes

GLT - Hope you had a very Happy Birthday!!!!! :cool1: :sunny:

Alissa - Hope you're feeling better today. Did anything ever happen with that mean nurse at your Doctor's office? I love that Elmo toolbench by the way - I may have to look for that for one of Liam's christmas presents.

Floridafam - Glad to hear your test results came back alright. I hope that they are able to pinpoint where the pain is coming from. :grouphug:

IT'S NOW 1:30 and i'm posting 2 hours later than when I started this note!!

Nucpharm - OH NO with the Orange Juice!!!!! That's great that your DH is able to get a lot of free goodies from his work!!! :woohoo:

Bellacam - Congratulations on your new nephew!!!! :wizard: :goodvibes

Tasha - I love the new pics of Kylie - I can't believe what a big girl she is!! She's adorable!! princess:

Fabumouse - I've seen the poster "Cool-Beans" on the DIS on the CB. It's funny because years ago when I picked out my name for the DIS - I thought of Hillbeans because it's what my friend at work calls me - not quite sure how she derived that from my name, but she calls everyone something other than their name.
I liked that article on Eliz. Vargas - not that i'm a news anchor or anything, but I often say that by working and having children, I may be trying to "have it all" but at the end of the day it's rough working and raising a family. I like to see other people admit that.

Lglblonde - So glad to hear that little Jake is doing well after his surgery! :grouphug: He's a heartbreaker - what a cutie!

Dizagain - Yay for Carson for his great sleeping last night!!!! :goodvibes

Gems - sorry to hear about DH being so sick! I hope your latest scan at the Doctor's went well. :grouphug:

Loretta - I need to share my Nick Lachey news with everyone here on the Mom's board! My close friend won tickets to an "Up close and Personal" Concert with Nick Lachey next Friday night   . The concert is only going to be for a small # of listeners from the radio station. The concert is at the "China Club" in NYC. I'd just DIE if I get to actually meet him! I am so excited for next Friday and can't wait! I will share any and all pictures after the event! He's also on "Dancing with the Stars" tonight so you know where i'll be tonight from 8-9 pm!

I hope I remembered everyone!

Have a great day!

Oh, I have an "Ariel Little Mermaid" crown that I got in a Happy Meal a week or so ago. It's unopened in a bag. If anyone would like it for their daughter for free, just PM me and I can throw it in the mail for you.

EDITED - ARIEL LITTLE MERMAID CROWN IS TAKEN - THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only have a minute to post. I have a meeting at 2 pm for my ESL student. Apparently, one of the wonderful supervisors is going to help me learn how to teach a girl who only speaks and writes Mandarin Chinese. I'm sure that an hour workshop after school will help me to teach this student to read Romeo and Juliet.

FF - Thanks for asking about my aunt. She's not so hot. She's home but the hole where the tube was inserted into her is leaking stuff and the doctor said that might not be good (no kidding ), so she is waiting to see what he is going to do about that. Apparently, she couldn't stop laughing after I left the hospital because of the look on my face when she asked me if I wanted to see her scar. I'm glad I was able to give her a laugh! She has such a good sense of humor.

Well, I have to get to that meeting. I'll try to catch up later.

BTW, Airborne is great stuff. It helped me get through my day :thumbsup2 .

Hi. Yesterday afternoon just as I was starting to DIS (looking Justhat's pics) Leif put his arm on my laptop and the image on my screen flipped :upsidedow everything was upsidedown, even when I turned it off and back on! :sad2: Luckily, DH fixed it this a.m., and now I have a minute to take a peek at what's been posted -- I've 4 pages behind!!

So sorry now, to those I may miss!

Birthday - thanks for the happy wishes! My big day is tomorrow. We have absolutely nothing planned. It's a big one (in my eyes) so I kinda want to pretend it's not happening  But of course, being treated kindly and doted on is always appreciated! ;)

halloween package - we got our package in the mail today, but not everything's been opened yet, THANK YOU SL! DS got this really cute ball throw/catch pumpkin game that had us rolling in laughter as we played today (thank you, I haven't laughed like that in months!). I got a really cute hand towel with a black cat and fluffy (boa feather-like) tail, decorative pumkin, body soap and lotion and Leif is napping so I don't know what he got yet and DD is at school, so don't know what she has yet. But DS and I have enjoyed it so far!! Thank you! :thanks:

ryan - good deal on the Mickey costume! :thumbsup2 Pluto would be cute, but way too $$. I have no sewing talent either, I'm impressed you made a ghost costume! At least he can use it for dress up!

J&D - do share pics when you have them, I'm sure they will be spectacular! Thanks for the b'day wish! You are on the ball!

Diskim - maybe Aidan has an allergy? Since the timing is the same? I hope he is feeling better and that you got some much-needed rest. Hope you are feeling better.

FF - glad the tests went well. I still need to do my package, this weekend, I promise!!

bnb - we have some field trips coming up too! Glad your went well, I can't wait to buy some fresh cider!

zalansky - thanks for the b'day wishes! Good deal on the Stride Rites. I'll have to check it out!

Bellacam - congrats on your new nephew! I hope he is feeling better and will be ready to go home soon :wizard:

robin - sounds like you have a great disney plan about ready to go! :thumbsup2 yeah for mom & dad!

lissawynn - we can do deal/no deal together! :rotfl: Great gifts so far! I want to be at your house for Christmas! ;) I think it's time for antibiotics, you've been sick a while right? I want you to feel better! I hope you get some rest and get on the mend soon :wizard:

dizagain we have been getting the storms the last three nights too. Sounds like you had quite the experience. Did everythign in the freezer really thaw already? That bites!

ginamarie - hope you got some snuggles in yesterday!

Tasha - hi! Glad you like the new day care! Those photos are too precious! Kylie is adorable! :lovestruc

fabumouse = :thumbsup2 for getting in good with K teacher! Love the glowing pumpkin!

nucpharm - hi! I'm always cleaning oj off the kitchen floor too! And no cups, except water are allowed to leave the kitchen unless it's a sippy! Got tired of cleaning the messes  We were up obnoxiously early today too!

gems - wow, you got a lot done this a.m. You must be exhausted! Can't wait to hear about the scan.

lglblond - what an ordeal you all have been through! Glad your little prince is recovering and looking healthy!

ginamarie, hillbeans = HI

justhat - LOVED the Henry and Madison pics! Thanks for sharing.

Leif is up, gotta run!

Hillbeans- I can't believe Liam is a sleep fighter like Olivia. She's the only baby I've ever known to fight off naps like the plague, but it sounds like Liam is the same way.

I can't believe you're going to that Nick Lachey concert. I've been trying to win those tickets for the up close and personal concert! My DF is a HUGE Nick Lachey fan. Have fun at the concert!

GLT- Happy Birthday! I always say, when you find an age you're happy with, you can stick there awhile or start counting backwards.
My dad tells everyone that he's 30 (at least it's the 20th anniversary of his 30th birthday). I keep asking him what's going to happen when I turn 30, and he says I'll just be older than him. :lmao:

Can I actually be feeling worse today than I was yesterday? Well, I do. I just spent about 10 minutes sitting in the shower with the water steaming all the gook out of my sinuses and chest. I have to go back to work tomorrow. I would need a drs. note if I stayed home that 5th day in a row. If worse comes to worse, I'll come home.

Hillbeans - My BF loves Nick, too. She would die if she met him.

Ginamarie - I hope you can find the fuel gauge on your tank. We prepaid for our oil back in June or July, so we got robbed. I think we paid $2.59 a gallon, but now the reg price is less than $2.00. At least we have it and it's paid for.

GLT - Age is just a number, right? I have days when I really can't believe that I'm 31 going on 32. My 30th wasn't so much fun b/c I'd just had Jimmy and gone back to work. It wasn't the number so much as all the stuff that was going on at the time.

DisKim - I've yet to try the Airborne stuff. It seems that every time I get a terrible cold like this, I'm pg. I hope your meeting went well. I have an ESL student who passed the test, but can't understand much of what I say to him. I've taken to reading him everything that we do. It works out much better that way.

BnB - I'm glad you had a nice trip to the pumpkin patch. If I can manage it this weekend, I'd like to take Jimmy. I'd love a glass of cider, but I can't have it b/c of being pg. Your apple crisp sounds really good. I'm dreaming of chocolate cake these days.

dizagain - I hope your DH has a great birthday. Your cake decorating sounds like fun.

floridafam - I'm glad your test results came back negative. That must be a huge relief. I hope you can pinpoint the cause of the mystery pain soon.

nucpharm - I hope the oj got cleaned up. DH once gave Jimmy grape juice in our living room. Never again. I hope caffeine doesn't count as a real "drug". I'd be dead in the water.

I need to get something to drink to try and flush the crud out of my system.

Hillbeans - I am insanely (sp?) jealous about your Nick Lachey concert, I LOVE HIM!!!!   I really hope you get to meet him!! If you do would you say hi for me!!!!????

Sad isn't it! Wife, mother of two (almost) and getting exited about a former boy band member! Oh well who cares!! :teeth: :teeth: :dance3:

Our Flumpy scan went well, he is growing well and everything is fine with his head and brain - they couldn't see it to measure at the last scan as he was hiding his head in my pelvis. We got a good picture, when I get a chance I will scan it into the computer and post it. They said that the measurements are putting me a day earlier than my due date at the moment - but we shall see!! It's great to see them on the screen, Shelby came with us this time but she was more interested in her biscuit than her brother!

I have just been shopping with my friend and bought myself some new house slippers they are bright pink suede boot types with white polka dots and they are all fluffy inside - very comfy and warm, just what I need for the winter and also when I go into the hospital to have the baby - last time my feet were freezing after I had given birth, something to do with the epi I guess?

Hillbeans - Shelby resists her naps too, usually if she thinks she is missing out on something, I usually end up putting her in her stroller and walking around the block and that gets her to sleep. But it's not foolproof.

Lissawynn - the steaming shower sounds SOOOOOO GOOOOOD! I hope you feel better soon, you seem to have been ill for ages, it's awful when you can't take anything either.

GLT - HAPPY BIRTHDAY for tomorrow!!

Ginamarie - hmmmmm Pizza sounds good!

BNB - The pumpkin patch sounds like fun - we don't have anything like that in the UK, Cider however is cheap here about $3.50 for a 3 litre, it's the only alcoholic drink that my DH drinks! SO when we go to the US he has a hard time as we have trouble getting hold of it - try a pear cider if you can that is very nice!!

DH is still dying, he went to bed this afternoon and took Shelby with him only to bring her back to me when she wouldn't do what he wanted, he said "well you can have her now becuase I am looking after her for you when you go shopping tonight" I was :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: I couldn't believe what i had just heard, I chose to be the adult though and ignore him, I did manage to get all of her 1st birthday invites written, addressed and posted, while looking after her! So I was pleased with that. We are just having a small family get together at the house so I only had 14 invites to do , but it was one of those jobs that you just never seem to get around to doing!

Hi gals~

Today has been a semi-stressful day. I won't go into too much details, because it's just boring, but my Darling Husband has finally decided it's time to buckle down the boot straps spending wise. I agree with him, but it's a bit bewildering. He was talking a mile a minute the last few days about WDW and so excited. I went to book it at Shades this am and they had room the entire week. DH didn't want to stay there the entire time (although I have heard it's nice), he really wanted to stay at the Poly. So I call for AAA rates, and they are about $45 a night more than the overflow (putting us at $404 a night!!!!!!!!!!). He says that's fine. So I book it for my parents and I; then I realized I had to put one night's stay for each room on our card....And I did that for Shades and Hoop Dee Doo. So we now have over $1,200 back on the dam* credit card again! He's so stressed about it. Half of it my parents owe us, but we about got that balance down to zero and now it's back up. He is so not happy. I'm not either, but if we really buckle down, the remainder we had on the card will be paid off by the time we go on vacation, plus we will have our tax return and probably another $1,000 or so....that's enough to just about pay for the vacation and then start a savings fund when we are done.

Sorry, I guess that was long, but he just made me angry this morning. I've said to him 10 times that is a peak time of year, I don't think we should wait on the room reservations. I will cancel the last 5 nights we have at Shades, and then we can watch to see when they book back up again. When they book back up, we can call and get the overflow rates for the Poly (like our original plan) and save a few hundred dollars. It's not that big of a deal, esp coming from someone who has been a spender for the last 20 years of his life. For him to do this 180 on me today irritated me. I have always wanted him to be more responsible, but I felt like I was being scolded or something.

I had to cancel my Coldwater creek extravaganza this weekend cause I didn't have the cash in hand to do all that I wanted. I rebooked only the facial and pedi since it will come out to only $25 + tip after my coupon and gift card. That will still be nice. I'm just freaking about every little thing now.

I will say a big YAY, yes, I am a total Disney addict as Kim pointed out, that I got this flipped from Hawaii to WDW in two weeks. So, we are going March 21-30, 4 nights at SOG, 5 nights (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) at the Poly. I scheduled us to see Hoop Dee Doo right in the middle. The other two sit downs we want to do as a group are Ohana and Whispering Canyon, but I am waiting on those ADRs until I can sit down and write everything out. DH wants our date night to be at Narcoossee's. Any opinions? I was hoping he would choose Artist Point or CA Grill, but he's wanted to go to Narcoossee's for years.

This will definitely be a scaled down trip souvenir wise. We have been so much in the last 4 years we really don't need anything. I will let the kids save their money if they want to though, but no more $100 per kid type of thing like we've done before.

I'm sorry I haven't replied to all the responses today- not like me at all! I did see that Gems had another scan and that's great you got to see baby again!

Excited for Lost tonight!

Things are peaceful right now, the baby is sleeping and Alex is watching "Corpse Fried" (originally "Corks Fried") aka The Corpse Bride. Dh is not home yet, he should be home within the hour, I HOPE. Of course the lady who was supposed to come see the furniture cancelled, and the other person who wanted to come hasn't gotten back with me  I'm not kidding, I probably set up 2 or 3 times a week for someone to come see it and nobody has ever shown up!

LglBlonde- Thanks for sharing your website with us, I hope to get a chance to read it later on.

GLT- I had to laugh when you said you were impressed with my abiltiy to make a ghost costume, if you saw it you wouldn't be! All I did was cut two eye holes in the white fabric I bought and drape it over him :rotfl: I was going to modify it somehow (don't know how though) so that he could see and walk without tripping but I never got that far. For the Pluto costume I will probably buy a lion one that is the right color and remove the mane and add ears. Wa la (how do you spell that???) instant Pluto costume :teeth: In case I don't get to post tomorrow, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

nucpharm- How fun to spend your mornig cleaning OJ  I have instituted a no food in the living room rule for Alex since we moved, and he is always trying to sneak stuff in there. How cool about all the freebies from DH's work! We get the occasional bottle of water or pen from DH's company :rotfl:

ff- I'm glad it was nothing serious! Hopefully you'll get to the bottom of it- and DARN that you have to go buy new bras to see if that helps ;)

dizagain- Glad to hear the storms left your area. Happy birthday to your DH, I hope you get to go out to eat!

BnB- Celeste's field trip sounds like a lot of fun, and what a great guy your DH is to take a sick day for you!

Ginamarie- Jack has a tiny head too, it's pretty silly. II had to laugh about your dad being 30, my mom is only 19. I can remember thinking I'd never be that old so I wouldn't have to worry about surpassing her in age :lmao:

Hillbeans- How exciting about the concert!

DisKim- I'm sure that hour will be more than enough time to learn how to teach your student ;) I hope Emily and Aidan are feeling better soon.

lissawynn- I love apple cider and I'm so upset that for the second year in a row (pregnant last year nursing this year) I won't be able to have the fresh stuff. I just buy some at the story that has been pasturized and bring it along to eat with the donuts and it's almost as good. Then I buy some and boil it at homeand drink it hot, DELISH! I drink gallons and gallons of cider each fall. I hope you're feeling better soon, you've been having such a fun pregnancy so far...

GEM- I'm glas the scan went well and Flumpy cooperated. Too funny about the man flu!

Well, DH is home so I better go, talk to you later. Hi to anyone I missed!

ETA- Hi Robin, you posted while I did. SOrry your DH is making you feel bad!
