Guess what DH got me for my birthday! A DVR!! I cracked up because I was just talking about that the other day. He also got me some beautiful flowers. Nothing can beat Emmy's glasses though ;) . We went out to dinner and had cake at home. The kids decorated it yesterday. It was quite beautiful! The kids were really cute because they were so excited that it was my birthday. I don't think they realize that mommy is not thrilled to get any older!

Val - Welcome back! It sounds like you had a great trip.

justhat - Emmy had one of those accidents in the middle of a restaurant on Broadway in NYC. I was so embarassed and apologetic.

nucpharm - That print sounds beautiful!

Hillbeans - What is an LC diet? Is that "low carb"? I have to lose weight. I feel huge lately. I was thinking about going to WW tomorrow night. I want at least 10 pounds gone.

Well, I guess I better get things ready for school/work tomorrow.

Alice28, I hope you did pass the stone and that you're out of pain now. What timing huh, when you're trying to plan a WDW trip!?! ;)

Nucpharm, I will be keeping a set of clothes in the car from now on too. It was my fault really cause she hadn't gone since she I gave her a shower that morning and I didn't think to ask her. And I had nothing to clean PBK with and apologized profusely but like I said they were so nice. And when we went back to buy the vacuum after we changed her clothes (which I then had to do since she peed all over their store) there was another puddle on the floor so I wonder if another kid did the same thing. Hopefully for their sake it was just a spilled drink.

Vald, welcome back! Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. I love the pool at FQ too-such a cute design. I agree with you on the character breakfasts, though we always end up doing some anyway. They're always just so crowded. And after doing some character meals in DL I feel that the WDW ones aren't worth it. DL has so many more characters at meals and not just the same ones from place to place. We saw Terk, Meeko, Max, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Daisy Duck, Aladdin, and Baloo in addition to the regular crew at just 2 meals.

Hillbeans, funny you should mention that my mom was so calm about Madison's accident. When I got to the bathroom with her new clothes she was running around naked while my mom was reading a magazine. Weird I thought, for her that is. We were at the Short Hills mall so luckily they have those lounge areas in the bathroom so it wasn't as nasty as if she had been playing by stalls. And good description of how I felt about Madison's sleep habits. She did need to sleep but fought it so much and there was simply nothing I could do, and believe me I tried everything. I'm really not "made" to handle CIO but I tried it for 3 weeks when she was 8 months old and no luck whatsoever-just crying till she'd gag and vomit all night long. Luckily Henry is much more willing to sleep than she was.

DisKim I'm right there with you on the dentist. I really need to go but have been putting it off for so long. My excuse was that if I went while pregnant I'd never be able to handle tools in my mouth but now I have no excuse, I'm just not going. I hope your aunt does well tonight. It amazes me how they try to kick out people who legitimately need to be in the hospital when those who don't get to stay forever. :grouphug: to her.

GLT, don't give me too much credit, the zoo is only 3 blocks from here. ;) It is quite the walk though cause once you get into the zoo you're at the bottom so it's all uphill to see the animals, then when you leave the zoo it's all uphill to my house. It's not the best designed zoo. I could avoid the uphill climb home if I left at the front of the zoo, but that would tack on about 1/2 mile so not sure it's worth it. If I had to travel as far as you do we'd never go to the zoo!

My mom is calling to ask about her flight to Phoenix Thursday. She never remembers details like that so I have to look it up and let her know when she leaves. We're going to meet her there, we meaning me and the kids. I'm looking forward to the flight alone with both of them. Sometimes I wonder what I'm thinking when I plan something like this. Madison has 2 days off from school though and Joey's on call twice so I thought it would be better than staying home alone with them for 4 days.

Thanks for the good thoughts ladies; I passed the stone. Ugh. I am still totally doped up feeling though. The Dr. prescriped me some sort of morphine pills to take at home should I pass another one; I took one right before the stone passed and then it made me very tired all afternoon.

The darn stone was literally no bigger than a matchstick head- how can something so teeny make me want to die?

Val- I am glad you are back and that you had a pleasant trip. :thumbsup2 My kids loved that serpent slide too.

Kim- that's so cool that you got a DVR for your birthday!

Justhat- is it the Washington Zoo that you live so close to? I'm sorry Madison had an accident in PB.... :guilty:

lissawynn- are you feeling better after getting those meds? Hope so....

GLT- I think that's very cute that your DD suggested the Deal or No Deal game to be able to go to WDW again! :goodvibes And I loved the pics of her heading off to school!

Z- so cool that you get to stay at the Boardwalk again! :dance3:

Jill- Yum, cosmos! They sure are tasty! Glad you had such a nice time with your old friends!

Hillbeans- thanks for the picture compliments! (and everyone else). I love those boots on Molly too- she looks like a little fashion plate.

I am forgetting everything else I wanted to comment on....I'm blaming the morphine and being up half the night. :guilty: DH just took Josh to soccer practice. I need to get Molly up from her nap. Oh, and the car transaction is done! Just made a big payment on the amex and it felt good.

TTYL!

Glad to hear the stone is gone Robin!! And good news on finishing up the car sale and paying your amex. Yes, we live near the zoo in Washington. It's actually called the National Zoo, though my friends and I agree with you that it should be called the DC Zoo cause it's really pretty sad for being the "National" zoo. Here's a link to their website if you (or anyone) is interested. http://nationalzoo.si.edu/default.cfm

And if you click on "visit", then "getting to the zoo" and then click on that map to enlarge it, we live on one of those streets between Irving and Calvert, on the east side of the zoo. Madison's school is on the west side of the zoo by Cathedral Ave. So it's pretty convenient for us to get to. The other reason we can go often is that it's free, like all the other Smithsonian musuem kinda things. Of course, I spent about close to $20 on lunch and snacks for me and Madison so it's not really free in that sense. Normally we'd eat first, but she requested lunch at the zoo so I figured why not.

I just have to finish up Henry's christening invitations and then I'm off to bed. Both kids were asleep by 7pm so I've actually had a peaceful evening. Hope everyone's having a good night!

Gems- I’m lucky because I’m sharing office space with my dad, who is there during the day, and my brother is in the office a couple of evenings a week. Also, my parents live about 10 minutes from the office, so when my mom is home, I can drop her there for awhile. Today, my dad took care of her while I was meeting with the client. In a pinch, I’ve also taken her into meetings with me, and once in a blue moon she’ll just sleep all the way through a meeting, but she’s so anti-napping that it’s a rarity.
You may have it better though, since Shelby is older she might entertain herself for awhile in a playpen. I have a pack and play in my office where I can put Olivia, and then the conference room is right next door so I can hear what she’s up to even if I’m with someone.

Justhat- Oh god, that television device sounds like something my DH would buy. We went through a period like you’re talking about, where we had to agree to talk to each other before large purchases were made, but it took time to get to where we are now. Men, you have to whip them into submission or there’d be no putting up with them!

Alice- kidney stone prayers are on the way! Four nights at the poly--- droooool :)

Lissawynn- Sorry you forgot the jello!

Jill- Glad you had fun at the reunion.

Val- Glad you had a good time at WDW. We’re staying at POFQ in December and I’m hoping everything is good. DH and I stayed there on our honeymoon in 2002, but haven’t been back until now. I’m really looking forward to EE too.

DisKim- I hope you enjoy the DVR. I got it for my DH for Christmas in 2004, but I think I use it more than he does. It’s so convenient!

I got the new client, and a check. Woohoo! Olivia is on my lap, attempting to keep herself awake by slapping herself in the thigh. That’s her new move. I guess eye rubbing isn’t as effective anymore as it was last week. I have outwitted her again though, with the side to side rocking maneuver. DH is watching football—blech!

I'm going to bed, but thought I'd finally post some pictures since we have a new battery charger for the digital camera.

This was me trying to get a good shot for his christening invitation.
ecb4237f.jpg

I think this is the one I ended up using. They're all starting to look alike!
ecb42213.jpg

Henry in the same outfit as Jack in Ryan840's sig photo. I thought I had one of him in the hat too but I guess I was wrong. I'll have to take one next time he wears it.
ecb42139.jpg

Madison's first day of school-Nick gets stuffed into that turtle bag everyday
ecb4210d.jpg

This is how they often ride in the car  - Ginamarie, notice the Pooh feet on Henry's pants ;)

This was about a month ago but I don't think I ever posted it.

Good evening ladies! :sunny:

I'm home from class and my presentation went well so that is a relief. :teeth:

Robin - I'm glad that the stone has passed and I'm praying that there are no more of them! :wizard: I've heard that kidney stones are terrible! Congrats on getting the payment for the car!

Justhat - Gosh, it has been ages since I've been to the National Zoo but I sure remember those hills! You can get quite the workout climbing them. I was actually hoping to go to the zoo soon too so we can see the pandas. Unfortunately, soccer takes up too much time on the weekends so that idea is out. Good luck with your trip to Phoenix! I'll pray for a smooth uneventful trip for you especially since you are flying solo with the kids.

DisKim - Oh my, how funny that you got the DVR! :teeth: It sounds like you had a very nice birthday too. My kids are like yours where they get all excited over us having a birthday.

Nucpharm - I'm a beer kind of gal myself. ;) Thankfully, they had an open bar for the first few hours. You should have seen the lines right before they turned the bar into a cash one! It was soooo long b/c everyone was trying to get their last free drink. Good luck with the training!

Ginamarie - Congrats on getting a new client! :thumbsup2

Hillbeans - I'm with you on the SAHM or working mom issue. :thumbsup2 Whatever works best for each family is what is good. It doesn't matter if you stay at home or work as long as the family is happy. Keep us posted on the lc diet! I haven't been to WW in awhile due to my schedule and I really want to drop the last 10 lbs of this extra weight.

Val - Welcome back!!!! We missed you! Do you have any pictures from your trip to post? It sounds like you had a great time too! I'm dying to try EE on our next trip but I can't handle big drops. Are there big drops on EE?

Ryan - Good luck with finding the shoes!

Hi to Tamie, GLT, Floridafam, Bellacam, Gems, Lissawynn, Tasha, Cabmom, BNBmom, dizagain, fabumouse, Zalansky, DisneyPhD and all the moms! :wave2:

I'm off to bed! I've got a test tomorrow. Ick. :teeth:

ETA: Justhat, I love the pictures!!!!

justhat - OMG those are cute! Henry is getting so big! I just LOVE how they are holding hands. It made me kind of misty!! Thanks for sharing those!

alice - I'm glad you passed the stone. I hope you feel better soon. How awful.

jill - Glad the reunion was fun. Yum on the cosmopolitans!!

kim - I'm jealous over you DVR! that's great. Your cake sounds yummy!

val - Welcome back! We didn't the best experience with POR mousekeeping on our last trip, but it wouldn't stop me from going back. I'm glad you had a good time. Pictures?? :)

nucpharm - Cool gift!

I paid our balance on the trip today. I'm glad that's done with. I don't remember who commented about paying off the Disney Visa, but it really wasn't much. We had a very low credit limit on there since I got it just to get discounts. There wasn't much on there, but enough that the new Disney trip wouldn't have fit.

I emailed Disney Visa and asked for a $500 increase on my limit so I could fit the trip. They emailed me back and offered me a $5,000 increase. Um, I don't need that much, but whatever.

This time I had a very helpful CM so that made it much better. The funny thing was, she couldn't find anything that said the balance HAD to be on the Disney Visa. She said the deposit did, but she didn't think the balance did.

The best news of all is now none of you have to listen to me whining about this anymore!! :) lol!!

good night ladies!!

Tamie

Hi moms, I think I should be able to post uninterrupted now, we'll see...

We bought Alex's halloween costume over the weekedn- he wanted to be a ghost, so I bought the fabric to do the classis sheet with eye holes (slightly modified to keep him from killing himself) and went ahead and made it, then he decided he didn't want to be a ghost  I had a feeling he wouldn't want to keep that costume on, and luckily it only cost $2 for the fabric, so we weren't out much. I had taken him to every store we could think of before buying it though, because I knew he would do that, and he never saw a thing he would even consider wearing. I showed him costumes online for days, the kid just didn't want to wear a costume! Finally I showed him the ones on disneyshopping.com because they had come down in price and they have an extra 20% promo right now, and after seeing them and refusing them all, he finally looked again at Mickey Mouse and said "I think that's a good one, the rest of them aren't good". He MUST be my kid :rotfl: So he is going to be Mickey Mouse and it only cost me $8.48 for the costume and gloves because I had a giftcard! Score one for my cheap side :woohoo: I would love for Jack to be Pluto, but the only costume out there is on ebay and it's $100- no thank you... I know it would be simple enough to make but I can't sew a stitch so we'll see what happens... One more story about him that I just have to share because it's his first real time reasoning with things- He got a balloon at JoAnn when we went to get his costume, and yesterday DH took him outside and the balloon of course had to go with them, so DH tied it to a rock to keep it safe. Of course it came undone, and I hear Alex screaming bloody murder outside- not a tantrum, just pure broken hearted little boy reaction. DH said he was saying that he wanted the airplane to get his balloon for him, and when he told him it couldn't he asked if the airport man would tell the plane to get it. He came inside and had fruit snacks and forgot all about the balloon two seconds later :rotfl2:

vald- WELCOME BACK! I can't wait to hear more and see some pictures!

justhat- I love those pictures, especially of them holding hands! I wish my kids would do that, I think Jack would go for it but Alex has better things to. Henry is getting so big and he is too cute! I also love the look on Madison's face in the stroller.

Robin- Glad you passed the stone and I hope you don't get another one! Congrats on paying off the credit card, I can't wait until our taxes are in and I can do the same. I HATE cc debt and since moving I've been racking them up non stop. I get a sick feeling in my stomach everytime I do, but of course that doesn't stop me from doing it- I'm too impatient to wait :sad2:

tykes- If they gave me a $5000 limit I'd be in huge trouble (see above)! I would have to tell them no thanks on that one because I don't have the will power having just moved into our first house and wanting it to be finished right away. How exciting to have your trip payed off now, it's gonna be here so fast :Pinkbounc Go figure that now they tell you you didn't need to go through all that

hillbeans- Thanks for the compliments on my siggie! Good luck with the low carb diet, although I agree with the others who posted- you look great!

Jill- I'm glad your presentation went well, we all know how hard you worked! I've never had a cosmo, I'll have to try one sometime. I'm a fruity drink girl, I hate the taste of alcohol so it has to be covered up really well, and I just can't stand beer.

Ginamarie- Congrats on the new client (and the check!) and too cute about Olivia slapping herself on the thigh to stay awake!

lissawynn- Did you get your Jello?

nucpharm- Sorry your workout got interrupted, did you find anything good on TV? What a fun surprise in the mail!

BnB- Sorry about Luke falling- I must admit that Jack has had his fair share of falls off the couch in the past month or so- he just throws himself off :sad2: He's never been hurt or even cried, I guess because it's usually his goal to get to the floor... One time he actually rolled off, bounced, rolled while in the air, landed and rolled overto play like nothing happened. It was quite comical after I stopped panicking.

DisKim- How funny that you got the DVR for your birthday! And I had to LOL at your description of Emmy thinking the glasses were beautiful, kids are just the best when they do that stuff aren't they? Last year my BF let her DD5 pick out people's Christmas presents, and she got me Chicken Soup for the Parents Soul- her reason? "Because I'm a parent" :lmao:

dizagain- Yeah for no cavaties, and CONGRATS to Hayley for getting a part in the musical! :dance3:

GEM_ I hope you get a better night sleep tonight! Good luck with Flumpy's scan on Wed. Love the name!

zalansky- How fun to stay at the Boardwalk again!

J&D, fabumouse, floridafam, joats, GLT and anyone else I missed- :wave2: I'm off to watch a little TV and wind down before heading to bed, have a great night everyone!

Jenna did very well at her portrait session today. The Tink costume was perfect for the enchanted forest background. Here is a link that shows the backgound. http://www.gayletta.com/specials/index.html
You don't get to preview the pictures, but I think they will be beautiful. Robin, your portraits look great! I really like the one that says Happy Holidays.

I am still at my parent's house. My DH called earlier and told me that he had bad news. Our home computer died! I don't know how long it will take us to get it fixed, so that means I probably won't be able to DIS for several weeks. :sad1:

Kim- Happy Belated Birthday! Glad you had a good one! :bday:

GLT- Happy Birthday! :cake:

Valerie- Welcome back, and Happy Early Birthday! party:

FF- I'll be mailing my exchange package this week. :thumbsup2

Robin & Lissawynn- Hope you feel better soon!

Hi to everyone else I missed. I'm really trying to get to bed earlier these days. I'll try to pop in tomorrow before I head home. If I don't make it, then know I'll be thinking about all of you during the time that I'm gone.

Aidan was so sick last night :guilty: . He had this same thing last fall. When I would try to put him down to sleep, he would choke on his phlegm and throw up. It was awful. He was actually very good natured for being so sick. He didn't cry. He would vomit and then start talking to me. DH is staying home with him since I've been away from my classroom for 2 days. My classroom is going to be a disaster and I am going to have so much work to do. I'm in one of those moods today where I'm going to flip out if someone crosses the line with me. That doesn't happen too often, but I think I scare people when it does because I'm normally so laid back and pleasant at work. Well, I'm going to try to get in early and make some sense of my room before the kids come in. Have a good day!

Morning. I was up with DH, who had to go to work early, and Jimmy just left with my dad. I am feeling a little bit better this morning, but I'm still really congested. Yesterday I sat in the shower and sort of steamed myself for about 10 minutes. I'm going to try that again today.

DH is working late tonight, so I'm hoping my dad can tire Jimmy out this afternoon so he'll sleep earlier tonight.

Alice - I'm so happy you passed the stone. How did you make out with your Disney plans?

Val - I'm glad you had a great trip. I'm sorry the mousekeeping wasn't up to par. I'd have been calling and complaining. I can't stand a room that hasn't been cleaned properly.

Jill - Good luck with your test. I'm happy your presentation went well.

J&D - Sorry your computer died. I know how much not having a working computer stinks.

DisKim - I hope Aidan is getting better today. Jimmy has been congested the last few days and I hope he doesn't have what I've got. I know how you feel about returning to work. I've been out since Friday and am sure my room is a disaster. Try to have a good day today.
Btw, I am completely jealous of your dvr. I will be getting one once our addition is done and we're settled in the house.

ryan - I'm glad you got your costume situation worked out. I was looking at the Mickey for Jimmy, but I don't think he would wear the gloves, etc.

Tamie - I'm glad you had a better CM this time around. I once had a real go round with someone from Bank of America and was ready to find him and hurt him.

justthat - Great pics! Madison and Henry are really starting to look a lot alike.

I'm going to attempt to get back to sleep for a few hours. I hope you all have a good day.

Good morning Mommies! Sorry I have been MIA again but my sister had her son yesterday at exactly 35 weeks. Her water had broke early last week but she never went into labor so they induced her early Saturday and finally had to section her at 4:30 yesterday. My nephew is fine but needs to stay in the nursery for the next few days. He was 6 lbs 2 oz as my sis had gd and his sugar is low so they are trying to get him stable. I'll post more later. Hope all is well!

Just want to say that my package is all boxed up and will be going to the post office later today!

Fabumouse and Dizagain (and anyone who remembers my post asking for prayers for baby Jake from the mom to be thread), I heard from LglBlonde and she said Jake is doing great! She said she'll post an update when she has time, but he's 9 weeks old and is off his medicine now. I was so happy to hear how well he's doing and I know you were both concerned too so I wanted to let you know that he's okay.

Gotta go cause Henry's sleeping in my arm!

Thank you!!! This literally gave me chills - I've been thinking about her almost every day since her last post and so very worried for poor Jake. I cannot wait to see photos of that super baby! :cheer2: :woohoo: :goodvibes

Bellacam- congrats to your sister! I hope baby will be out of the hospital asap!

Justhat- glad to hear good news about baby Jake!

Kim- good luck today- hope your classroom isn't a disaster! Hope Aidan is feeling better quickly!

lissawynn- hope you feel better today and that EK doesn't get your cold. :wizard: We didn't talk too much about Disney last night as DH was looney with 2 hours of sleep, and I swear to god I had some sort of weird reaction going off those morphine pills- I completely flipped my lid with DH over nothing. It was kind of scary.

I did find out that the 'overflow' rate for the Poly is $360 a NIGHT. I just about had a coronary. I thought it would be about $240. My mom suggested she and my dad might pay the difference....we'll see. I will wait for the final green light from her and my dad, cause DH was willing to do that, but he didn't want to spend 10 days at SOG. Even WL was $280 a night! I guess it's Peak time for sure, even though it's 2-3 weeks before Easter.

Anyhoo, if mom and dad can pay the difference of what we thought it was going to be, I think Disney is a 'go.' My goal is to work about 60 hours at the preschool between now and then for about $700 spending money or food money. (I know we will need more, but maybe I can earn about $100 on sunshine and $200 on ebay). I talked with the preschool teacher last night and she said I can come in as often as I want the next two weeks so I can be 100% sure of building policy. I'm hoping to get at least 20 hours in that way. It's just hard because I am SO USED to not having anything that I have to be at except appts. But Disney certainly is a motivator to get my butt over there for 3-4 hours a day for a few days!

Jen- that background is very pretty- I am sure Jenna will look like quite the fairy! I hope you guys can get your computer fixed soon! We will totally miss you!

Ryan- so sorry Alex lost his balloon--- :guilty: ...that's so sad! I'm sure he will be a cute Mickey though!

Tamie- glad the trip/credit card issue got taken care of. I am going to be scouting DING on SWA like a fiend now....if any of you notice an Orlando- Portland one, holler at me! They aren't booking out that far yet, but I have yet to pay more than $125 each way in our last 4 trips. Right now the cheapest is $159. That's still a bargain to fly across country!

justhat- those pictures of the kids are so cute! The one where they are holding hands is totally precious!

Well, I need to get cracking so I am ready to get out of here at 8:45 or so.

Alice - Do the rooms at the Poly sleep 5? I would love to stay there at some point, but my nephew (and we usually go with my sister) loves the WL. I kind of have to laugh b/c my sister was here on Sunday and we were getting stuff together for her son's bday party, she asked if we were going to WDW for my bday (late April). While I would love to take a 4 day trip, I don't know if I could justify leaving DH, Jimmy, and the baby just to go to WDW. DH did tell me I could have anything I wanted when we found out I was pg, and I know if I mentioned "favors", I could have pretty much anything I wanted.
I guess we'll have to see what happens when the house is finished.

I keep thinking of stuff I'd like to have when our upstairs is done. I'd really like a small, flat-screen tv and dvr for our bedroom. Then there's the $2700 worth of dining room furniture (and the new carpet for the dining room). Since we decided on one BIG walk-in closet, I'd love to do something along the lines of a California Closet system (but something cheaper b/c I've seen that they are really expensive). Maybe I can go on Deal or No Deal, too.

justthat - Do you think you could swing by my place and mail my package, too? ;) I cannot get to the P.O. for the life of me. Darn bronchitis!

I'm gonna attempt to do some laundry after I take a shower. One of the ladies who works for my sister in the cafeteria packaged up some of the homemade chicken rice soup they made for lunch yesterday and told her to give it to me. I'm going to have a bowl of soup and see how I feel.

lissawynn- yep, the rooms at the Poly sleep 5.

I hear you on all the things you want to do to the house- when we start talking about our remodel, the list never ends. Same with all the money we spent this summer on the upstairs....$2,000 carpet quickly morphed into about $4,500 with a new bed, frame, paint, accessories, etc.

OK, I got myself ready....now to wake the two little guys....I hate waking them up when they are so soundly sleeping!

Yawn. Good morning! Well, what an "adventure" we had lat night around here! Thunderstorms moved in around 7:30 while we were all watching "Wife Swap"...Hayley (who is TWELVE, remember) started freaking out in a really over-the-top way over the storm and annoyed the stew out of us. We asked her and Hannah to go upstairs and shut their windows and this request started WWIV in our house, no exaggeration. Anyway, ended up putting each of them in their rooms. NO more than 5 minutes later the darn tornado siren goes off so I take the three kids to the basement while DH monitors the storm. Of course the girls are letting me have it over "I told you so - we're going to die", etc. So the nice tornado lands in Lake Michigan and we carry on - allowing the girls to come back downstairs but stay in separate rooms. NO more than 5 minutes later the power shuts off and the girls are doing their screaming thing AGAIN. We get all my Yankee and B&B candles gathered up and glowing and Hayley settles in to play Laura Ingalls and does her algebra. Hannah, Carson, and I just chilled on the couch working a crossword puzzle. Well, looking out the window, my neighbors to the right and down and also across have power. Starting with MY house and over to the left the power is out, but only for about 10 houses or so...great. This goes on and on and the girls fall asleep on the floor. Tim gets them up and to their beds in a dazed state finally about 10:30, leaving me one candle and the lighter. Carson and I sleep about 11:30-3 and he gets up to eat. NO DANG BOTTLES and the ones in the fridge are useless at this point. So I start sterilizing - thank goodness for gas stoves - and just as I'm ready, the lights come on. Well,I grabbed the meat from the freezer and moved it to the fridge and that was all I could do. So now I have to go throw everything else in the freezer away - most of the fridge stuff is ok I think. Joy. Of all nights to tell Hayley to get a grip on the storm fear thing and it is actually warrented for once.

Well, the boy is up - hopefully I'll get back to read up on you guys in a bit!!

Oh, justhat - saw your post about Jake! Whew!!! I was still thinking of them, too. Happy news!!! :)

Justhat- Your kids are too adorable. And I love the pooh footsies.

Ryan- great news on the $8 Mickey costume!

J&D- I love that forest backdrop. I hope your computer gets fixed quickly.

DisKim- Sorry that Aiden got sick :( Olivia seems to be coming down with a little cold too. This time of year is so bad for respiratory problems.

Bella- Congrats on your new nephew!

Alice- Wow, $360 a night! I think we paid $165 a night, but that was in the low LOW season and with DH’s cast-member discount.

Lissawynn- I hope the soup helped.

Dizagain- sorry you had such a rough night!

Olivia and I are going to work from home today. So some extra baby snuggles are in order :cloud9:
