Happy Saturday everyone! Haven't got much done today - in fact, haven't showered. Not that I'd admit that.
Jill- Yes, I think it's in big part just getting used to the new school situation (and this did happen last year) - but when I pointed that out to the K teacher, he essentially (and kindly!) said that all the other kids have moved out of "transition" and are learning, while Kailey is essentially holding herself back by being too busy arguing to actually learn some days.
And when you don't get enough down time or "me" time, it's expected that you'll get cranky - I hope you find some time for yourself.
SL - are you feeling any better?
Dizagain - Thank you for the kind words and support! Sometimes I'm afraid that she will be like this in Junior High and everyone will wonder why I didn't take care of it, and I will be pathetically saying "but I thought she'd grow out of it".
The K teacher said that he was finding a special spot for Kailey to go to when she started to feel that she was losing control. And practicing the "take a deep breath" thing before she gets too worked up. He's also spent time with the class working on talking about their feelings instead of yelling - but he's feeling that he's spending too much time on Kailey and this issue, which I think is fair. There are 25 kids in her class - 1 teacher and 1 full time Aide. I hope he likes her - or I am in trouble.
J&D - well, the peeing on the floor *was* such a surprise. Other things I could ignore, but not that.
Lissa - I so feel for you! Have I mentioned (in the last hour) that I don't miss being pregnant?
I had easy pregnancies, but I do remember nights where I slept sitting up with a bed pillow because I was so uncomfortable (allergies, I believe).
Nucpharm - that's GREAT on the job!!
And don't spend one second feeling guilty - I know tons of attorneys and business consultants and other people who make a ridiculous amount of money per billed hour - and wouldn't I rather my pharmacist (who is responsible for giving me the right medicine) be well paid??
Robin - what are overflow rates? Is that if SOG is booked to capacity, you can get special rates on other resorts? I feel for your MIL just because I have fought with those plastic wraps and straps from toys for the past 5 years and have managed to damage myself a number of times.
So sorry to hear about your best friend!
And the last time I did "favors" at WDW - I started feeling a bit funky a few weeks later . . . . if you cough *Madeleine* know what I mean.
OMG - I cannot believe it's (almost) October 1. We just moved everything from the heaters so we can fire up the boiler.
