Okay - good parenting moment. Today I scheduled Kailey's birthday party (which isn't for another 6 months) because last year I got shut out of the date closest to her actual birthday (and then made the mistake of scheduling it on a holiday weekend - DUH). The woman laughed at me for being so early, but I can take ridicule.
And I really should call the Dr. about the whole itchy trush thing - but - and I know some of you can relate - the time I could go to the dr. would be during exercise time (because that's when I have a babysitter). And when I start scheduling things during exercise time, I start to schedule *more* things during exercise time, telling myself that they are more urgent. And then I find out that 6 months later that my jeans still make me gasp when I button them.
So I'm hoping it will just resolve itself. It's pathetic, I know.
But, if it doesn't in a week, I'll take GLT's advice that medication is needed.
GM and Dizagain - try not to feel guilty. DH dropped Madeleine a few nights ago because she arched her back and he wasn't holding her properly. I called him an idiot (it was the absolutely nicest thing I could think of at the time) and we managed to freak out both girls. Bonus!
Z - glad you had a good weekend with your siblings.
Tasha - the teletubbies do me in, too. I think it's the "let's do it again!" repetition that makes me want to shake the tv and scream "Don't You Dare Do It Again!!!!"
Hi J&D!
GLT - sorry about your back! Ouch!
Jill - glad the scan went well and I hope you get the results quickly.
Bellacam - I'm sending you pixie dust. We're still not on a decent schedule (and even if we were, we'd have lost it because of Madeleine's cold, so it wouldn't matter anyhow).
SL - I'm worried about that smell in the office. It doesn't sound like it could possibly be good for your lungs.
Justhat - glad to hear Henry likes his rice cereal! Madeleine was doing great with food until she realized that she likes sweet potatoes MUCH more than those nasty green vegetables. The faces she makes!
BNB - I do the same thing with gardening every year! I really really try, but I get burned out about halfway through, both because of the work, but the cost of doing any of it right becomes overwhelming (we really need a landscaper).
Gems - Ack! I know how you feel! I hope the baby is cooked and on its flumpy way.
Now back to the fun
