I hadn't thought of it at all until you mentioned this. Then a certain someone just popped into my head... I'll have to ponder this one.

ETA- He doesn't really look like him though, or act like him.

Did anything important get discussed between Sun and her mom? Our local station had a scroll bar at the bottom during the conversation so we couldn't read what was spoken.

No - her mom just asked when she was coming home. Sun told her she was almost finished with what she was there to do in LA and would be on a flight soon. The mom said "there is someone here wants to speak to you" and put Sun's daughter on the phone.

Sun also told her daughter she was bringing a friend named "Aaron" for her to play with.....

I was so happy to see Smokie back, and to find out he was what made Danielle's team so sick. This episode just really freaking rocked. I can't think of better words right now.

I love that we got lots of answers in this episode and was glad to see 'Smokie' too.

And why has the actor playing Ben never been nominated for an Emmy? I have loved him from the first time I saw him in Lost - he is definitely one you love to hate, and he plays it all so well!

Michael Emerson has been nominated for an emmy(Outstanding Supporting Actor), twice...2007 and 2008. He lost both times. He did win an emmy in 2001 for "Outstanding Guest Actor" on "The Practice".

I think that is a pretty good rule! When an episode is this good, it is hard to not talk about it.

Seriously! It seems that every TV thread I read has someone complaining about "spoilers" related to the current episode. Sometimes I don't get to watch Lost until the next day so I just don't read the thread. For shows like Amazing Race, I know I have to avoid The Early Show if I don't see it right away. It's pretty simple.

JMHO but I think once it airs people should be able to discuss freely.

I was also surprised she said that. It made it sound like Aaron and her daughter would be meeting.

I think that's a very good possibility. That conversation took me completely by surprise. It would have been great to get flashbacks to Charlotte's youth (before moving to England).

There seems to be a lot of speculation as to who Annie might be. So, I decided to post a picture of young Annie.

I think she looks more like Kate than either Charlotte or Juliette. And don't forget that back in season one, Kate used the name Annie as an alias. Plus, her middle name is Anne. Something to think about. Maybe Kate's Mom is Annie. I know that is a stretch. But there is definitely a resemblance between young Annie and Kate. Oh, and Kate's Mom is named Diane.

Looks like the water bottle came down with the presumed plane that Rousseau was in? That website was funny! Destination Destiny?

Rousseau wasn't on a plane. She was on a ship on a science expedition in the Pacific. They picked up a strange transmission and changed course to investigate when a storm came and ran their ship aground. The hull was breached and they had to abandon ship.

Does anyone have any theories as to who the people in the canoes are in last weeks episode?

Oh, and I don't think Locke is dead. This is not a spoiler at all. Just my speculation. Anyway, there was something that Ben said a couple episodes ago that made me go hmmmm. I can't remember specifically anymore what he said. I'll have to rewatch some episodes to jog my memory.

That's who I'm thinking!

Remember a few season's back, they showed a shadow-y figure of Jacob, sitting in the rocking chair in the cabin. The image was frozen and analyzed on alot of fan sites and many people thought it was Richard Alpert - with scraggly hair and facial hair. That theory was dismissed and people figured it was just someone we hadn't met yet.

Looking at Faraday now, it could be him!

Definitetely not Daniel. We already knew that Daniel was time travelling to the island from last weeks episode so I was not surprised he was the one who told Charlotte not to come back or she would die when she was a child.

I am thinking Jacob is Jacks dad. I always thought it was. Could be wrong though.

Wow! What a great episode...I yelled when it ended! They always cut it off right when it's getting good.

So if Sun goes back to the island....is she leaving her daughter behind for good?

Ben said everyone who left the island has to go back. I am assuming that means Aaron and Sun's daughter! Especially Sun's daughter, she was conceived on the island. The island may feel that the baby belongs to it.
Sun may not be able to get to Japan to retrieve her in time to leave, but Ben and his people have been able to go to and from the island all along. Maybe they will "kidnap" her, and bring her back to Sun and Jin.

She was saying daddy. Her and her mom were allowed to leave the island, but not her father.

And I did see that Ben was surprised that Des referred to Eloise as "Faraday's mother". I thought Ben knew EVERYTHING about EVERYBODY!

I agree. If it's Wed.nite and you have not yet watched Lost, you should not come on this thread. But I think once the show has aired, it's fair to discuss it here.

I'm not so sure Jacob is Jack's dad. REmember when Locke saw Christian and Claire in the cabin and Locke asked if he was Jacob? Christian said no, he's not Jacob but he can speak for him.

I don't think Daniel is Jacob either. Daniel is Eliose/Ellie's son (I also think Eliose is the grown-up Ellie) with Widmore. MAYBE (and this is really stretching it here.....maybe Aaron is Jacob reincarnated?

Maybe Ben wasn't surprised that Eloise is Daniel's mother - maybe he's surprised (a) to see Desmond and (b) that Desmond knows that Eloise is Daniel's mother.
