Hi everyone!

2 weeks today.. and we should be in Orlando the days are flying by now.. wedding preparations are all in hand.. think it's time to start getting things out ready to pack for honeymoon?!

It's so close! I bet you are so excited. We just went to a wedding this past weekend and now my cousin is getting married this weekend. No Disney themes though. It would make the time go by faster.

Just back from a wonderful 9 days at Disney and let me tell you it was amazing. It was hotter here in Alabama than it was at Disney. We hit everything just right to stay cool so that helped too. The parks are just beautiful and the dining was as good as ever. The crowds seemed a little high to me but it was a holiday weekend-week, but we planned well and didn't miss a thing that we wanted to see. To all of you getting ready to go, I hope you have as good of a time as we did. I am already searching for dates to go back.

Oh, and those of you staying at Port Orleans Riverside, keep your eyes open!! We saw some bunnies, a BOBCAT by the laundry room & a snake on the walk way. The fish & game were also there removing a gator from the river, and the pool guy told someone we met that there is a 6ft snake in the bushes by the small pool close to our building (14-16) area. This made the trip a little more fun for us!

Also, we had a preferred room there and we were lucky to get building 14. While in the laundry room, I met someone who was in a preferred room in building 27, and she was complaining that it was so far away from everything, and there was no parking over there so they had to carry everything from the parking lot at the main building. She requested RIVER VIEW. If you have this requested, and you are not up for the hike, I would call now to make a change. (just something I learned that I thought I would share )

I am glad that you had a great time. We can't wait in our house. The days seem to be getting longer and not shorter. 7 1/2 more days of school for us. Then I will have a little less than a week to prepare myself for Disney. That is when I am going to start the real packing.

Umm...not sure I like the idea of a Bobcat. I can deal with the small creatures, but I will stay away from that one. We saw a snake (about 5 ft) at Wilderness Lodge when we stayed there last year and lots of deer in the woods, but no Bobcat. Let us know if you are going to do a TR. Would love to hear more about your trip.

Glad you had a great trip! It's 101 today here in Dallas, so I'm looking forward to going to Florida and getting a break from the heat!

Glad you had a great time!!! Let's see some pics!!! I can't believe you saw a bobcat!!!! Crazy! I was going to stay at POR in December and switched to POFQ b/c I heard POR was just so big.

Thank you! And yes, I was shocked when the little guy walked by the laundry area. There was a guy out jogging I think, and he followed it to that point but once it went into the bushes it was gone. I was not about to open the door to go hunt it either.

You will have a great time! I have a friend of mine that will be heading down close to the time that you will be going. She is getting excited too. There is nothing like the anticipation of a trip to Disney! It's so exciting!!

I have never done a trip report before but I may have to this time. It was just such a wonderful trip & everything went so smooth. We had a lot of laughs too. I wouldn't take anything for that time with my mom & kids.

We have to leave by 6 on Weds for the airport, we'll be arriving in Orlando by 10:30. I'm hoping we'll be up for touring around MK a bit.

I was just saying the same thing, they are forecasting 98 for the first couple of days that we'll be gone. I think it will be hotter here than in FL, who knew. And here I was nervous that we picked the wrong time of the year to go when it would be hotter if we stayed.

So glad school is almost over and very few working days are left before Disney!
We haven't started packing yet, but we'll get on that next Sunday when we pick up our suitcases from storage.
To anyone who's down there now or just came back, what's one thing you think we should definitely pack? (I feel like we always forget to pack one thing each year that's important)

I got back Sunday! We had such an awesome time... I'm exhausted still, but ours girls had a great time and that was our goal

I started my TR yesterday and just put up my photo safari pictures

Summer activities are starting around here, we started gymnastics yesterday (the day after we got back!) and today the library starts their summer story time

I should have plenty of time at night to hang out on DIS though I'm ready to start planning our next trip... probably not till 2013 though

My daughter woke up in the middle of the night with an ear ache. I am home with her today so maybe I can get caught up with some of my work for Disney. I have a lot of packing that I could do. Got to make something good from this day. We have been up since 3 this morning. To say the least, I am very tired, but we are not watching The Princess and the Frog.

I guess it's better that she get sick now instead of the week before we go to Disney.

Woohoo! My turn to be on the tomorrow list. It's going to be an early morning- up at 3:00 am!

We were gone over the weekend for a graduation, and had softball Friday and Monday night, so it's been a whirlwind leading up to this. DD12 and I actually have not been feeling the excitement, so we got out the maps and talked about rides we've never done. I think we have DD9 talked into trying Haunted Mansion, Rockin Roller Coaster, and Tower of Terror. We'll see if she keeps up the bravery!

I was starting to worry about our Mickey documents. I called our TA last week, but she was on vacation. We got my mom's stuff last week and we are going at the same time. Today, she called and said that she called DIsney about it last night and they are going to rush the documents. They better get here on time! We only have 16 more days until we leave. What if they don't get here on time???? Ahh!
