I should be sleeping right now for I have to be up again in 4 1/2 hours but I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!
...K I'm gonna try to go sleep now.......right.......

We are here now!Today is non-park chill day, so of course, I spring for the ten bucks so I can connect up! We met carlnix30 and family at Epcot yesterday; very cool, even the teens spoke to each other!
So far we have seen Fantasmic for the 1st time: loved it! Covered almost the entire MK in one marathon day: arrived at ropedrop, took a 3hr midday break, returned for CRT at 5:30 & stayed for EMH until 1:30 am! My DS loves
MK! DH, DD17, and DS5 went fishing this morning in Crescent Lake, just off the coast of the UK
All caught their first fish within thirty minutes & all got about 6 each.
Tonight is dinner at Kona (was originally at Yachtsman's but the kids liked the Kona menu better) 7 pm & if our timing is good, the water parade & Wishesfrom the Poly beach!
I just wanted to check in before I *try* to go to sleep and say thank you to anjalee and all of the other Junies for making my wait not seem as long and more fun along the way.
I'm not taking the laptop and I'm not sure how to post from my phone, so I'll see you guys when we get back.
For the ones who are waiting to go, it will be here before you know it!

Just wanted to post before I head out again but I am still here! We've been running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to do last minute stuff for the wedding thats on Saturday and then Sunday we leave in the wee hours for our disneymoon!![]()
Told the kids this morning, they are so excited!!!!
Can't believe we are leaving tomorrow morning, Yipee!!!!!!!![]()
8 Days until we leave!!!
I still can't believe how fast the time has gone by this last month. My oldest "baby" graduates from elementary school in just over a week...where did the time go? How can he be going into SIXTH grade??!!
I spent my weekend preparing the travel activities for the kids and even put together a packet of stuff for my nephew, even though we wont' be travelling with him. Each of my kids has a storage clipboard that is full of colored pencils, pen and pencil, eraser and TONS of actitivity sheets for our trip back home. I printed off activity sheets for each state we'll hit on the way home: Florida, Georgia, SC, NC, VA and MD. They will learn a few facts about each state and have some activities to complete. Plus there are other travel activity sheets and games we'll play to help break up the trip. The same information was put together for my nephew. I bought him a clipboard and have some crayons and pencil and pen for him as well. I also bought a messanger bag at Target and put his name on it in glitter fabric paint. I'm going to make the same bags now for all of my kids.
For the train trip, I put together some additional sheets for just my kids. They have a small paper puzzle to play with of a train, a small paper tic-tac-toe board with train pieces to use for the Xs and Os, and a few train activity sheets and a journal to write a small sample about their trip. I think it will make a great keepsake for them for later.
I have packed our toiletries already and this week may start setting aside some of the clothing for the trip and packing it for myself. I may set aside a few outfits for the kids as well and start packing. This weekend will be the full packing time though. I expect we'll be fully packed for the most part by Sunday evening.
Kids still think we're leaving on Wednesday. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they learn we are leaving early. Then the double-whammy when we pull up to the train station!![]()

Oooh, this sounds like a good idea! I think I may have to sneak off to the store just this one last time![]()
Leaving in four days and we haven't even started packing yet.![]()
Just back from a wonderful 9 days at Disney and let me tell you it was amazing. It was hotter here in Alabama than it was at Disney. We hit everything just right to stay cool so that helped too. The parks are just beautiful and the dining was as good as ever. The crowds seemed a little high to me but it was a holiday weekend-week, but we planned well and didn't miss a thing that we wanted to see. To all of you getting ready to go, I hope you have as good of a time as we did. I am already searching for dates to go back.
Oh, and those of you staying at Port Orleans Riverside, keep your eyes open!! We saw some bunnies, a BOBCATby the laundry room & a snake on the walk way. The fish & game were also there removing a gator from the river, and the pool guy told someone we met that there is a 6ft snake in the bushes by the small pool close to our building (14-16) area.
This made the trip a little more fun for us!
Also, we had a preferred room there and we were lucky to get building 14. While in the laundry room, I met someone who was in a preferred room in building 27, and she was complaining that it was so far away from everything, and there was no parking over there so they had to carry everything from the parking lot at the main building. She requested RIVER VIEW. If you have this requested, and you are not up for the hike, I would call now to make a change. (just something I learned that I thought I would share
)
Have a magical time!!![]()
