Hi everyone!! So sorry I've been MIA for so long. I've been so busy at work the last couple of months it's been crazy. Right now, the show I run is full swing into rehearsals and we are just 20 days from opening night! We're also doing something new this year...the winner of our competition is going to compete against the winners of the same competition from two other brooklyn high schools, at the beginning of March. All proceeds are going to the American Cancer Society! For those who don't know me, I teach Italian at a Brooklyn, New York high school but I also run a show there called SING!, which is a competition between two teams (in some schools, three teams) separated by grade (we have seniors team up with freshmen vs. juniors teamed up with sophomores). The students write, direct and perform their own musicals with original scripts. They use existing songs but they write their own lyrics and they have a live band play the songs. They build and design their own sets and they design and make their own costumes. It's an amazing experience for our students. So I've been very busy with that, as well as teaching in general and also family of course. On December 31st my sister gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy! So, very busy but all good things!
Tuesday our 180-day ADR window opens up. I'm so excited to book everything!
I hope everyone is doing well!![]()
Glad to see you around again. Busy busy busy but you sound like you are having fun with the production.
You'll have to let us know what you end up booking. It's fun to read everyone's plans. We have to wait until the 29th, but that's ok. I enjoying the planning.
but, I'm still going to check in from time to time. With the boys going to high school next year and the baby going into middle, I have a feeling the expenses will go up as well. BUT..... I am substituting the WDW trip with a Universal Trip around the same time. Staying on site but saving about $1000. Hopefully, we will LOVE it and maybe head to disney in 2015.
My family loves that I always know what to do and when to do it so we can get things reserved/get discounts/etc...

to the July thread.. IMO - (Weather -
Average 90's and 70% Humidity) I can not give you a comparison on the crowd levels, but it is very busy
(Peak Season) DD and I love going in July. We have not visited to Disney during the end of July.. Angalee would have more knowledge of the crowd levels during this time frame.
You have a busy agenda. Your plans looks great.
