We arrive on Jan. 5th and we didn't get a flash drive either.

It seems to be pretty consistent that only arrivals after Jan 5th are getting the flash drive. Remember at one point, that was the "end of testing" date. My guess is the flash drives are part of the next wave of testing...

We finally told the kids about the trip!! They are excited in a vague, not really sure what it all means, kind of way. But, we leave in 6 days!!

We arrive on Jan. 28 and didn't get a flash drive either. I'm wondering if the recipient of the flash drive is dependent upon how much planning/magic band/fastpass customization the user already did. In other words, by doing what I should have been doing, Disney figured I didn't need a flash drive to get me started. LOL

I had adrs and fp+ And customize magic bands and disney still sent me two flash drives, doing a split stay. It makes no sense.

Excited for our upcoming trip! We gave our kids on Christmas morning their Hogwarts letter, wands, t-shirts and candy for their first trip to Universal. They spent the whole day spelling family members with their wands! We are also going to visit Disney for 2 1/2 days as well.

I am worried about going without staying onsite and having FP+. We aren't going to be able to take that mid day break so that will change our plans a bit. We will be staying offsite by Universal, we couldn't get a room at Contemporary where we stayed last time as this trip was a last minute trip.


We will be at HS 1/2, MK 1/3, and AK 1/4. I hope the crowds aren't too bad!

It figures we are leaving on January 25, 2014 and Sofia and Doc will start being at H&V on January 26th. I guess we will see them in May instead.

We arrive Jan. 7 and received our flash drive about 30 days out so you may still have a chance at getting one. I'm definitely a planner so I don't think that has anything to do with it. Not sure.

I had my ADRs scheduled 180 out, my magic bands customized on the first possible day and my FP+ reservations made as soon as they were available and received a flash drive as well.

my second set of MB are arriving today too

I booked my dining at 180 days out, customized my bands as soon as I could and did all the things on MDE that it would let me do and no flash drive here either

We arrive Jan 22. We got our MB's on Christmas Eve.... But our flash drive came weeks ago... 3-4 weeks ago I would guess. Nothing important on it.

The new folks that we're dragging along told their kids on Christmas. They have a 4-year-old who is upset they didn't leave that day. January 26th is a LONG time away for that little girl.

Since we are staying at the Dolphin, we don't have MB, but yesterday we bought our park hoppers at AAA, pre-ordered Memory Maker, today I made town car reservations, and the pup has to get a booster shot to stay at his inn! Next up, packing. Last year it was 80's, this year so far it looks 70's. Not sure exactly what to bring yet! Looking forward to this trip!!

Busy day tomorrow! We have to pack all the clothes, buy snacks for the road, pick up my car from the mechanic we had it tuned up since we are driving thorough like 4states.

Not long now!

We decided to add a park hopper for one day so we will get some extra time at MK and so we won't miss Wishes because of our late BOG reservation. I am so excited!

I had to go buy really nice tennis shoes today so my feet won't get tired with all the walking. We are planning 2 days at Universal and 3 days at WDW. Add to that, we will have 1 1/2 days driving both to Orlando and back. I'm going to be tired my first day back at work but totally worth it.
