The Official GLEE thread

Wow...what an episode.

Who else thinks that Quinn is not going to make it? Just the way it was set up...everything going so well for her with getting into Yale, getting back into the Cheerios, winning regionals...plus the fact that she's a senior and the writers are going to be needing to end some of their storylines. And, I don't think they'd write it so Quinn and Karovsky both survive. I don't know.

I don't want to wait until April 10!!!

Man what an episode, I'm not even sure where to start. I'm glad Karofski lived (I know the producers said that they wouldn't let David kill himself but I was worried there for a second). Glad that Sebastian saw the err of his way, he was a mean bully and I was not liking his character at all. I'm glad New Directions is headed back to Nationals, is it going to be in NY again? Oh man my heart sank as Quinn grabbed her phone, I bet Rachel will end up blaming herself for sending Quinn those text messages. I can't believe we have to wait till April!

I guess it's depends on if Diana Argon wants to/is contracted to come back. I haven't heard anything about her leaving the show before the season is over.

The show is getting VERY heavy handed with their messages. It's kind of a turn off, and you can see the message plots coming a mile away. However, these are messages that need expressing and getting the message out there. I'm surprised David survived, but now it makes sense if they're offing Quinn.

That said, I like the new Sue so much more.

That is what I was thinking too. After the episode it also hit me about her talking about Karovsky being selfish to try to take his life and then she goes and does that. I hope she makes it though.

The next new episode will be when I'm in Disney World...

I totally agree, this was very heavy handed, a little too much to put both in one episode. I like the Karovsky story, he made me cry. I thought the car crash though was a bit much, and sooooooooooooooo obviously coming that it wasn't shocking at all. Not sure how she could possibly survive a hit like that, I guess we'll see.

I really enjoy Sue the last couple of weeks!!!

I'm not normally a Glee fan but I watch because I watched season one and now I can't stop.

The last two episodes were quite good although it is seeming a little bit like PSA after PSA after PSA- religious, suicide attempt due to bullying, texting while driving... this episode was definitely needed though.

I hope Quinn isn't dead because she has always been my favorite character even when she was a loon.

I spent most of my viewing time yelling at the TV....oh noooooooooo!

What an episode!

But the storylines almost eclisped the music for me, I was so shocked about David's attempt that I had trouble concentrating on Regionals.

And I am sick of the making fun of the Catholic school's choice of music.

I agree the last two shows have been very heavy handed. It's sort of like "we know the shows end is coming up, let's get all these story lines in that we've wanted to do".

As much as I've liked Sue's character the last couple weeks, I also have a problem with her because the swing was so great.

I just started watching recently, so can someone tell me where Quinn's baby is? Is there any possibility that Sue will miscarry, Quinn will die and Sue will adopt her baby? I found it odd that Sue was telling Quinn how she always admired her - the pregnancy hormones sure have softened her!

Shelby, the former(?) Vocal Adrenaline coach and Rachel's birth mother adopted her.

BTW, what ever happened to VA? Remember, they were the "soulless automatrons" who were the "team to beat" for ND. Now they don't even make regionals?

I just hope that Quinn's comment about nothing being bad enough for suicide doesn't foreshadow her wanting to commit suicide herself because she's paralyzed or something like that. TBH, I don't want to watch that and probably won't.

Thanks!

I thought Carol Burnett looked fine, not weird. She's AGING. And doing it quite gracefully.

As for Kurt. I feel like this whole season has been about Kurt and he's spent the better part of it either crying or moping. Hopefully the move to the other school will give him a chance to be happy for a bit. However, I am pretty sure his stay at Dalton will be short lived. while I have ZERO knowledge about how the season will go down, my spidey sense is tingling, so let me be the first to predict what I think will probably happen...

I bet the bully at McKinley will commit suicide. It's a hot topic, sadly, and the show is VERY topical. So I bet he kills himself because he can't deal with his sexuality, and Kurt will come back to the schooll.

This is my post from November of 2010. Just wanted to say..DID I CALL IT OR WHAT???

I didn't watch the first half hour...did they ever say how Sue got pregnant? Well, I obviously know *how* she got pregnant, but did they say anything about the situation?

Anyone know why there won't be any new episodes until April? :confused3

i really miss when Glee was mostly campy, good fun. i know they've always tackled harder issues, but it seems that lately, they've been more heavy-handed about it. it's become an after-school special with a few songs thrown into the mix.

the plot lines are so much more obvious. you know what's going to happen next.

Ok my thoughts on this weeks episode and Quinn: In the press a few months when they've been talking about who would be graduating this year....they mention Quinn, Rachel, Finn, and Kurt. they also say that Brittany would be a senior, but that she could realistically stay back and no one would second guess that...lol. Through out most interviews, they talk about how Finn, Kurt, and Rachel will graduate...but will be back next year on the show. Ive never seen any mention of Diana Agron returning...or not returning....so maybe they are writing her off...or maybe not...just thinking "out loud" here.
Plus...I know this will sound awful...but (in my opinion) she seems to be the least musically talented of them all...even if you go to the live concerts...she is the only one that does not have any type of solo (either singing or dancing) in the live shows. (and the few times she does get a "solo" on the show...she is the most heavily auto tuned I have ever heard) And they seemed to have struggled with what the heck to do with her character in the last year. I'm not saying she isnt a good actress....even though her airy voice gets on my nerves....LOL...but she definintely is beautiful....

I agree, I miss the balance between campy good fun and message sending. Now it seems to be all heavy messages.

I hate to sound like I'm splitting hairs but Karofsky attempted suicide but wasn't successful. The producers said they wouldn't let him kill himself, but I guess attempting it and not having it work was not out of the question.

Sue was artificially inseminated, no idea who the father is. She approached Will about donating some of his "goods" but I don't think he ever "donated."

I kinda agree, campy is good but at the same time I really enjoy how they're putting real-world issues that teens face into the show. I imagine that there are kids out there who if a parent or teacher tells them not to text and drive or don't be a bully/allow yourself to be bullied it probably goes in one ear and out the other. But place that same message into a show like Glee and it might get through to them.
