The Official GLEE thread

One thing in particular that stood out for me in the episode was Sue's presentation to Quinn of her Cheerio's uniform, in the lovely red box with the brass plaque w/ her name on it.

Completely unrealistic. Except in the realm of Sue Sylvester. Nothing is apparently too much for her Cheerio's budget, so we can easily shrug it off.

A reflective, quiet, happy and bittersweet Sue? Did Quinn ask for her spot back? Probably. Did Sue turn her down? Yes. Did Sue have the change of heart, call her back in, tell her she admired her & present her that box? I don't think it was Quinn's hands that box was placed in.

But we saw Quinn with her uniform on right afterwards when she was talking to Rachel. My guess is that the box with the plate on it is how Sue stores the uniforms. They:re boxed and stacked up and with the plates on the front she can see which one belongs to which girl.

They've shown Sue to have a heart before so I can believe Sue being nice now, especially if she really is pregnant. If this wreck with Quinn really did happen (and it's not a dream) Sue is going to take it very hard (regardless if Quinn lives or not). Sue loves her Cheerios like they are her own kids.

I agree. If Quinn has been killed or injured, Sue will take it hard. I don't believe all that was in the episode truly took place. Sue's stuff in particular is out there, even by Sue standards.

IMO Sue giving Quinn her spot back & Quinn dressed as a Cheerio once more never happened. It may be a dream, a comatose experience or someone's regretful remembrance of what they wish they'd done or what they wish happened.

I think Quinn's Cheerio uniform is in the beautiful red box w/ the brass plaque. Sue will either keep it in her office as a memorial or a punishment to herself for refusing to allow Quinn back, give it to Quinn's mother -- or send it to Shelby as a momento for Beth. Obviously sending it to Beth would be incredibly poignant, but IMO there's a case to be made for Sue constantly reminding herself (and the audience whenever there's a scene in Sue's office) of her huge regret for not allowing Quinn back or telling her how much she admired the way she handled her pregnancy.

I didn't read through this whole thread, so forgive me if this has been answered, but why is Sam back on the show? Didn't he leave the show, his family moved away or something?

Rachel and Finn went looking for Sam and brought him back. You'll have plenty of time to catch up on back episodes during the 7 week hiatus!

I also think the accident with Quinn will keep Finn and Rachel from actually going through with their wedding.
Super ridiculous to show two supposedly intelligent (and NOT pregnant) high schoolers getting married with the support of parents, friends and their school teachers.
Many of us have been "in love" as teenagers, but to actually marry?!?!

You do realize the parents, teachers, and most of their friends are AGAINST the wedding, right? The parents are trying a "reverse psychology" thing.

Shelby, the former(?) Vocal Adrenaline coach and Rachel's birth mother adopted her.

BTW, what ever happened to VA? Remember, they were the "soulless automatrons" who were the "team to beat" for ND. Now they don't even make regionals?

IIRC They said last year that VA is in another district now. Remember last year we didn't see them until Nationals.

I don't think they would kill Quinn off. I know I don't want them to. For sure the accident will stop the wedding. Quinn will probably wake up badly injured. Maybe she will be in a wheelchair like Artie? I agree with those who say they miss the campiness of the show. The themes this year are so "in your face".

I don't see how the accident could stop the wedding.

They had to get married before 5, right (or the office would close)?
It was a few minutes until 5 when the accident happened.
It will be AFTER 5 by the time emergency responders get to the scense.
It will probably be after 5:30 before they identify Quinn & notify next of kin (even if only injured).
The 'Glee Troop' at the courthouse wouldn't find out until WAY past time.

But this is Glee, and the writers will probably have someone use Quinn's phone to call Rachel first.

I'm with the others who think this may be a dream or something along those lines. The whole show had a bizarre feel to it...the *ultimate* of everything, they win regionals again, Sue is pg, the wedding,Q getting it all, Karovsky's pain while heartwrenching, was shown in an over the top type-way.(no flames, I am not making light of it, just saying the storyline went right for the most dramatic outcome)anyway, raised flags for me that even for Glee, too much goal suceeding happening.

I'm watching! I knew Quinn would live and Rachel would feel guilty. Why do I have this odd feeling that Cooper may be the father of Sue's baby?

Acck! That would be SOO gross...LOL! I hadn't thought of that angle! Okay episode tonight, hoping next week will be better :)

I doubt I'm right but just the way that Cooper and Sue were acting with each other I got that vibe. You're right, it is gross :scared1: I liked tonight's episode. That song they used at the end, "Somebody That I Used To Know." Love that song! I'm glad that Artie is there for Quinn, I'm glad Quinn is trying to be positive but she does have to be a realist too. My husband at the end watching the promo for next week he was all like "Disco does suck!" I happen to like it (in small doses). Did anyone see Whoopie Goldberg has signed on for a couple of episodes that'll air next month? She's supposed to be a theatre teacher, I wonder if acting is going to play into how they write Rachel, Finn and Kurt back into next season?

I loved tonight's episode.

How many of you think Quinn will walk again?

I kind of like the idea of Artie having someone like him.

To see Cooper Anderson's audition for Michael Bay go HERE

I decided to give Glee one more episode in part because I like Matt Bomer. I truly enjoyed Matt Bomer's scenes on the show and truly hated the rest of it. I'm done with this show now.

like the Quinn stuff at all. I don't really think anyone dealt w/it except Artie. I would have preferred seeing everyone get the call and rushing to the hospital. I know it's been 6 weeks or so but I thought it was weird there wasn't a scratch on her.

Yes, I think she'll walk again.

Glad to see Sam from "Glee Project" finally joined the club. So happy Damian is still around too.

I have that feeling too. Sue was so oddly drawn to him. Plus, she has always said it was a "celebrity". It still could have been invitro. He has such a big ego, it wouldn't surprise me.

I thought the episode was just ok. I was hoping for more. Cooper's acting advice was funny though.
