The Official GLEE thread

John Stamos is joining the cast as Emma's dentist boyfriend.

was hoping the rumor about Taye Diggs (Idina's real life DH) was true, but it is Stamos.

I hadn't heard that about Taye Diggs, bummer, I would have LOVED that!!!! He is so nice to look at LOL.
My dd told me about Stamos yesterday, I am not particularly jazzed about that addition.

I definitely would have preferred Diggs - he IS nice to look at!!!:goodvibes

DD12 will be happy about Stamos - she watches "Full House" re-runs and likes him.:)

Taye would have been a much better choice and eye candy to boot.
dh kept saying how the adoption thing was a slap in the face to Rachel. Kinda like older kids in the foster system. "Your too old for me to have any influence on now, I need a baby". There's still plenty of parenting and teaching that she could have done for Rachel especially with their common talent. It's tv after all, and this is not a longstanding role for Idina, as nice as that would be. But at least they leave the door open for more guest appearances.

And I have one request; maybe Mr. Shue can come sing Over the Rainbow at my house tonight, with his shirt off..... I can dream can't I?

^^ if he does come over can you send him to my house after? :flower3:

I am excited about John Stamos joing the show. I think if used right he will be a great addition.

Ahh Taye Diggs would have been AWESOME!

But I'm fine with John Stamos, excited to see him next season :)

haha, no kidding. My mom was watching last night (just to see Josh Groban ) and kept making comments about how Quinn's baby wasn't a newborn and a labor room doesn't look like that and other stuff. My sister said something like you shouldn't take Glee so seriously.

Haha my sis was saying the same thing about Quinn's baby and how she didn't even look pregnant, which I agreed with lol. How in the world could she dance around stage 9 months pregnant  but mrsklamc is right, it IS glee world after all!

LOL, only 8 months pregnant, she said she wasn't due for a month!

As long as you send Puck to my house...:lovestruc

Ok it's official.... I'm a Gleek!

I started watching from the Joss Whedon episode and after watching the finale I'm absolutely hooked. I'm so glad they are re-airing the season on Thursdays! I am looking forward to learning who is who and seeing it from the beginning!

?

I did not like it either. i chose to ignore the whole thing, too weird for me.
Someone posted that Somewhere Over the Rainbow lacked energy and I wondered if you were familiar with the version they were covering? It's very laid back.

I love this version.

John Stamos should be good. He can sing, so I imagine he'll be belting out.

Great season finale.

Yes, you have to remember that "Glee Time" is much different than real time!
Her water breaks, and they all rush her to the hospital, and she has the baby, while the other group sings, then they are all back for the awards.
Granted, Bohemian Rhapsody is a long song, but not that long!!

Then Quinn is back at school on Monday already!

Edited to add: I love John Stamos! I am so happy he is coming on the show!

Did you see Matthew Morrison on the Ellen Degeneres show?
She showed a picture of him. He not only has his shirt off, he's in his undies . . . :goodvibes

I think in Glee world that Rachel's mom just showed up at the hospital and left with the baby, no prearrangements. A blog I read that writes about Glee always says 'you don't watch Glee for reality!'

I get the feeling that she decided to adopt Beth at the last minute as a way to get a second chance after giving up Rachel.

Was that version of Somewhere over the rainbow the same version that Jason Castro sang on American Idol a few seasons back? He played a ukele then too.

We were laughing at that too. Quickest labor I ever saw. Let's see, Bohemian Rhapsody is about 7 minutes, right? But, as somebody already pointed out, there's Glee time and then there's real time.

It was a good episode but not one of my favorites. I loved the Journey medley though. So good! And I thought it was great that Sue voted for New Directions. That made me smile. I didn't like that Rachel's mom adopted Beth. That was weird to me. :confused3 I look forward to next season and I think it's neat that they will be replaying the whole series on Thursdays. :goodvibes

Does anbody know if they will be reshowing the pilot? That's the one episode I never saw (I know I can see it on Hulu, just rather watch it on TV).

So far the pilot is not one of the next two episodes listed. My guide shows Showmance and Accafellas as the next two being aired.

.

It was the same version. The original version was done by Israel Kamakawiwo`ole (better known as "Bruddah Iz").

Ah, HERE'S the picture I was talking about.

Enjoy!! ;)
