The Official GLEE thread

still on the subject of Taye Diggs:

EW had a poll, who would you like to see as Rachel's gay dads?

dad #1:
Hugh Jackman
John Stamos (we already know who he is playing!)
Sean Hayes

dad #2
Taye Diggs (hmmmmmmm!?)
Jesse L. Martin
Wayne Brady

I am hoping they know something we don't and the Taye Diggs rumor was based on something, if not the boyfriend role Stamos got.........:)

:wizard:

South Pacific you say? Looks a lot like Ms. Saigon too. Either way...bliss...:cloud9:

Yep, it's South Pacific, I have seen those pics too, and our local theater actually had the nerve to print a pic of him from that in the ad for their production of South Pacific last month.

Ooooh, that would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Any of those would be great choices, but I like the idea of Taye.

Wonder if there were any theater-goers who were actually expecting to see Matthew Morrison in the show?

Ah, HERE'S the picture I was talking about.

Enjoy!! ;)

Nice... What in the world is on his undies. He sure is nice to look at and a fantastic dancer. I just rewatched the Mash Up episode where he sings The Thong Song to Emma. One of his best numbers.

It looks like a fluffy face!

He reminds me of Hugh Jackman - they are both "triple threats" - they can sing, dance, and act equally well.

And are nice to look at, too . . . ;)

19 Emmy nominations for Glee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Acting nominations for Matthew Morrison, Lea Michelle, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris and (sorry his name eludes me at this second LOL) Burt Hummel!

Reposting from the *** Television Fall 2010 *** thread . . .
humanitaslogoblue.jpg

Four television series were named winners of the 2010 Humanitas Prize on Thursday: Glee, Modern Family, The Good Wife and Nurse Jackie were honored for exploring "the human condition in a nuanced, meaningful way".

Between Netflix, summer reruns, and Amazon.com On Demand, my wife and I managed to check out the first season of Glee this summer.

We have a problem this fall though: Glee is broadcast opposite NCIS, which has pretty-much been the most-consistently good show on television in recent years, and new program No Ordinary Family, which looks too good to not give a chance. We've gone back and forth, but I think we're going to go with Glee and No Ordinary Family (two tuners in our DVR), and aim to catch NCIS in reruns or via DVD. (There is no doubt that NCIS will make it to DVD, eh?)

(We'd love to catch NCIS via online streaming, but unfortunately, at this point, online streaming is not subject to the Americans with Disabilities Act, and therefore broadcasters have not seen fit to make most online streaming accessible to the hearing impaired. :()

The season premiere for the new season of Glee is this coming Tuesday.

I do stuff like this all the time. Why does it always seem that there is either NOTHING on or three things at once! At least one of those shows has to be OnDemand, right? So figure out which one is OnDemand, record the 2nd and watch the 3rd. That should work! :thumbsup2

Hehe.... if more folks watched television more regularly, perhaps they'd do it that way. Instead, we all tend to watch television on certain days and times, but not others. :confused3

You must have missed the small print in my message. ;) On Demand is not accessible to the hearing impaired. :furious:

Oh that is crazy! I wonder why... :confused3

I've never heard of No Ordinary Family. It's new you said, right? If it was me, I'd stick with the 2 shows I already like and wait for reviews of the new one.

It costs money. :(

Yeah, but then you've missed a few episodes, and No Ordinary Family is the kind of show where you need the back-story. And it is Michael Chiklis, so it is almost surely going to be good.

NCIS, by comparison, is almost a procedural, so you can pick up episodes out-of-order if you wish.

I'm so ready for Glee to be back! I even had a dream last night that I was in the cast of Glee :goodvibes Of course I never sung a note in my dream so I have no idea if I was good or not :lmao:

I've never been exposed to the concept of show choir before; our area's schools didn't have such things (at least not back when I was going to school), and it wasn't something I ever encountered in any context, until Glee. So I thought I'd check out the actual high school show choirs, on YouTube. Hahahahahahahaha... it's like Kansas versus Oz. :)

Great...Glee and One Tree Hill are on at the same time. We'll watch Glee and dvr OTH, I guess.

We were a show choir family and I have to say parts of it are really true.

I love how they make Carmel the school to beat because in our area of the midwest, they really are one of the strongest schools and we aren't far from Lima Ohio so in reality they really could compete against Carmel!

We changed school districts this year and our new school doesn't have a show choir, so we will really miss it. The director of our old show choir is one of the directors of my DD Childrens Choir and she keeps wanting us to go back into our district, but since I love our new school that won't happen. We will just have to get our show choir fix from Glee.

I have the same problem, but chose to go with the two known quantities and catch No Ordinary Family in reruns, or if it proves to be overblown, then I haven't missed anything.

I'll let you know if you missed anything good. :)
