The Official GLEE thread

that was Paul Vogt - he has a twin brother, Peter. They were both in Princess Diaries. You can look them up at IMDB.com to see which twin did what. According to their IMDB bios - they both worked at WDW doing Streetmosphere! You are right!!!:)

That's just cool! Thank you. Now I have to get outta this thread so I don't spoil what I haven't seen yet. I may finish the season tomorrow when the last show is posted to Hulu.

Thanks again. :)

Ok, did I miss something???
I didn't think that Rachel knew that Idina was her mom....but the way that they were talking, it seemed like she knew! (when she was saying I have missed so much, including watching you grow up...)
Huh?

You DEFINITELY missed something! There was an entire episode dedicated to Rachel finding out about her mother!

LOVED tonight's episode! What am I going to do now that all my shows are over?!

Great finale! Was Rachel's mother always the one who was going to adopt Quinn's baby but we didn't know it? She just showed up at the hospital and walks out with Beth.

Must have been prearranged annonymously because Quinn did not appear to know. How will Rachel react when she figures it out? Kinda weird but sweet that she kept the name. I'm probably going to get some grief for this but I thought 'To Sir With Love' and 'Over the Rainbow' could have had more energy, especially the latter.

I loved that episode too! I was sooo bummed though when they announced the winner of regionals and Artie was like "we didn't even place." :sad2: But I guess they can't win right away, wouldn't be much of a show then. haha

Downloading all the music right now...those were some great songs!

I think in Glee world that Rachel's mom just showed up at the hospital and left with the baby, no prearrangements. A blog I read that writes about Glee always says 'you don't watch Glee for reality!'

Someone posted that Somewhere Over the Rainbow lacked energy and I wondered if you were familiar with the version they were covering? It's very laid back.

I know! The small parts he sang were not enough for me. I love his voice!

I love Kurt but I actually can't STAND his voice when he sings totally in falsetto. He has a great voice and I understand in certain songs he has to go into that high voice but why do they keep giving him the highest parts that he HAS to do the falsetto? It's so odd sounding to me. :confused3

haha, no kidding. My mom was watching last night (just to see Josh Groban ) and kept making comments about how Quinn's baby wasn't a newborn and a labor room doesn't look like that and other stuff. My sister said something like you shouldn't take Glee so seriously.

Huh?

That's what I don't like about Shelby adopting Quinn's baby . . . how devastating for Rachel. She's longed for her mom, meets her, they click, yet her mom pulls back because "I missed so much". Obviously the solution isn't getting to know the daughter you have, it's adopting a new one you can experience everything with???

Adopt a baby, fine. But include your grown daughter.

Seriously! That is kind of messed up!

LOVED the episode. There is so much here I keep thinking to comment on, but I agree that I had to suspend reality to accept the adoption. Those types of adoption CAN be arranged privately either before or after a birth, but typically the parents are involved.

The music was totally wonderful! LOVED every bit of it. And every time I begin to REALLY dislike Sue, she shows she has a heart. :cloud9:

It was a good episode but not one of my favorites. I loved the Journey medley though. So good! And I thought it was great that Sue voted for New Directions. That made me smile. I didn't like that Rachel's mom adopted Beth. That was weird to me. :confused3 I look forward to next season and I think it's neat that they will be replaying the whole series on Thursdays. :goodvibes

I agree with everything you said. :)

And I also thought it was a bit odd that Jesse St. James is now off the show for good...but there was nothing said about it. :confused3

I didn't like that Rachel's mom adopted Beth either. It was funny when Quinn was in labor and yelling "you suck you suck!" :rotfl:

I loved last night's episode, I even cried while watching. I loved the fact that they did not win at regionals because it made it seem more real than if they had. I liked the Journey songs at regionals and once the other judges starting making fun of New Directions I knew Sue was going to vote for them.

I liked the Quinn giving birth scene mixed in with Vocal Adrenaline's performance. I did however find it predictable that they had Shelby adopt Beth.

I liked the To Sir with Love and Over the Rainbow performances.

Can not wait until next season.

I am so glad I found this thread and see that others found it weird that Rachel's mom adopted Quinn's baby. Just a little too creepy for me. Loved the show, can't wait to catch up on first season since I haven't seen it.

Great show, good season finale. Loved seeing Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John, but I wish Josh would have sung something.

DD is always surprised when I know the songs. (Like I'm totally stupid, you know ;))

When Vocal Adrenaline started singing in Regionals, I told her after the first few bars, "Oh, that's Bohemian Rhapsody. It's Queen's most famous song, and is really long, about 6 or 7 minutes long. Their lead singer was Freddy Mercury. He died of AIDS a long time ago."

And when they sang "To Sir, With Love", I recognized that one immediately too, and told her, "That was from a movie with Sidney Poitier, who played a teacher in an inner city school. The song was originally sung by Lulu."

She said, "How do you know this stuff, Mom?"

Anyway, our favorite scene was Puck's face as he was watching the baby come.

I had to just look past all the non-reality in the whole baby thing. But Puck was so sweet, and the you suck was hilarious!!!
I still loved the entire show! Even my 14 year old finally cried while watching (I cry all the time). To Sir With Love finally got her.
I loved all of the music!!!
I know the show is all about New Directions, but how could they win when Vocal Adrenilan did that performance??? They were amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sue, gotta love/hate her. I love it when they show her heart, ever so briefly...
I did yell at Idina Menzel that her daughter is only 15 and right in front of her. Plenty of time to get to know her, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I love Idina, so I hope maybe she will be back and finally realize that.
I kept hoping during To Sir With Love that maybe Brittni would finally sing! Guess we'll have to wait till next year.
