Yes --- they met at the football game...when Mrs. Gilmore found out that Richard and P.L. met for lunch once a year to "catch up".

I just found this thread.... I have loved Gilmore Girls since the beginning. I think it is one of the most well written shows on tv today. Lorelei is the best and I love her relationship with Rory. I have a young daughter and whenever I watch I always hope we will be that close when she is older. It can be hilarious and sarcastic one minute and touching and heartfelt the next. I never miss a Tuesday. It's the one night of the week I make sure my daughter gets to bed on time so I can watch it

I, personally, LOVE Marty. Much better than Logan.

And I wanted to throw something at Christopher. Rory is absolutely right, and he needs to stay away from Lorelai, no matter what Lorelai does. He does always screw things up!

ITA, Mal. Can't stand that Christopher. But the preview for next week has me scared. Marty and Rory are too cute and when he came over with food and Paris threw a fit - hilarious!

Last night's episode was good I thought. I ALMOST felt bad for Emily at the end. I wonder where Sookie's baby is all the time though. Poor thing must feel pretty neglected .

There were previews for next week? I thought there was going to be a movie on instead of Gilmore Girls next week? I have it on DVR and didn't see any previews for the next episode.

The previews confused me too. They kept advertising for the American Girls movie at the bottom of the screen, then showed previews of Luke and Lorelai fighting in the next ep. Maybe that was for 2 weeks from now. I'll hit gilmore-girls.net and find out.

eta: the preview was for the 11/30/04 ep. It isn't on next week.

I just checked and I must have erased the episode from DVR already . They better not break up Luke and Lorilei already!! What was the point in getting them together then? I certainly seems like they are building us up for a break up in the past couple episode though .

I like Logan - he's so different from anyone Rory has ever dated - I like MArty but he seems more like a best friend than boyfriend - not enough spice!

Wasn't Mia the woman who owned the Independence Inn that took Lorilei and Rory in when Rory was a baby?

The spoiler has me completely stumped. I can't figure out who would affect the story line.

I have to tell you, I am completely stumped. I even did a search to try to find out - who the heck could it be? Maybe Jess? Max? It's driving me nuts!

I thought Jess too but wasn't he in the opening credits? I also thought of Lane's old boyfriend but I don't see how much that would change the storyline .

here are my thoughts:

1. she REALLY enjoyed herself with *that guy who's name I forget* and felt guilty for betraying Richard.

2. She looked around the home she lived in with Richard and realized she missed him very much

3. Realized she made the biggest mistake of her life by marrying Richard and realized all that she had given up in life/time wasted.
