Jason's Lyric: Who's Sorry Now?

Across town, Jason may appear to be usual cool, collected self, but "Big Daddy Stone Cold" is a hotbed of emotions. As he tries to come to term with the death of his estranged dad, Alan, he wonders if he has the strength to stop yearning for the family that he gave away. "He's really struggling with the whole idea of giving up his kid", acknowledges Steve Burton (Jason). "And with Alan's death, he realizes how it feels to be a father - finally. Jason now feels maybe an inkling of what Alan felt for him and how he acted was probably pretty disappointing to [his father]."

As a result of his introspection, Jason comes to a startling realization as he sees the similarities between his situation and what he did to his late brother, AJ. In 1997, Jason went along with Carly's lies and pretended that he, not his big brother, was the father of her son, Michael. "This has obviously made him think about Michael a lot," Burton expounds. "Which, in turn, made him realize that Jason never really thought about what AJ was missing or losing out on when he was denied the chance to be with his son." So, Jason takes a sentimental journey to the Quartermaine crypt. "He goes to talk to AJ and tells him that he's sorry for what AJ missed out on and apologizes for never even considering that," Burton explains.

Could Jason spill the beans about fathering Liz's baby? "I don't know if he would really care if the truth came out," says Burton. "It would probably make things easier for him in many ways. The burden would be off his shoulder. People would deal with the aftermath the way they're going to deal with it and we'd have to figure out what's best for that kid at that point. Not to tell the truth is not his first choice, particularly because of Sam, but he has to justfiy that he's doing what's right for the baby. He's trying to stick with it but whether he's hoping the truth comes out or not, that's another story."

Kelly Monaco (Sam) will be taking a short break from GH in order to film the pilot FOOTBALL WIVES, the American version of the British hit soap opera FOOTBALLER's WIVES. Monaco joins a star studded cast including Lucy Lawless, James Van Der Beek, Eddie Cibrian, Holly Robinson Peete and Ving Rhames. The high profile project is being directed by Bryan Singer (Superman Returns, The Usual Suspects). A source close to the actress was quick to point out that KM will play a "guest-starring" role and there are no plans for a permanent GH departure at this time. There was talk of a temporary recast for the actress's day job, but since her character is currently involved in heavy story as a secret from Sam's past is poised to surface, the show has decided to scramble and shoot around Monaco's schedule instead.

*Lorenzo dies the second week in May. Lorenzo holds both Sam and Alexis at gunpoint and is about to shoot them as payback for the deaths of Luis and Diego. Skye and Ric enter the room together but Lo doesn't see them. We see Sam and Alexis' faces and hear a gunshot. Next scene we see Skye holding a gun, then letting it slip through her fingers, Ric is looking at her amazed that she got her hands on his gun. Close up of Alcazar as his face goes slack, and he crumples to the floor. Just then, Lucky and Jason burst through the door yelling, No! Stop! Both are extrememly agitated that Lorenazo has been killed. How will they ever find Liz now? *

Emily reappears the week of April 2nd in my information. She is told by Patrick of Robin and Nik’s relationship, heads out to Wyndemere to investigate and sees them kissing. When Nik tries to convince her he really loves Robin, Emily sense there is more going on than he’s revealing.

TPTB are very happy with Maurice and Laura’s S&C. They’re happy with the chemistry and the fan response. If they didn’t think Maurice and Laura could pull of S&C they never would have contemplated putting them together.

Nikolas gets the antidote from Craig, but when he realizes it's only enough for twenty-four hours, he gives it back. Patrick can't understand why Robin "has to" move in with Nikolas. Although tempted to tell Patrick about Mr. Craig, Robin moves into Wyndemere and will do as Craig tells her in order to protect Patrick. Scott is freaked when he gets the text from Logan demanding cash for secrecy about Rick Webber's death. I'm wondering if you calfy it a bit more. I don't see Jason and Sam stories going in two different directions. I have noticed Kelly being away (possilbe addition) but Wizard stated that Jason and Sam's story will interwine.. and they will be in each others story.. That;s what I'm seeing now. You have always given us good information. Has anything changed, because it seems like it has.

If you don’t see Jason and Sam’s stories moving in different directions, then that’s your interpretation. When I say it, I don’t mean that Jason and Sam will act completely independently of each other, never interacting or knowing what the other is doing. What I mean is that Jason’s story is very much focused on the child he’s struggling with giving up while Sam is dealing with Amelia and her newfound notoriety. (Incidentally, Kelly’s audition as you put it has only recently affected her schedule, not her actual storyline or level of interaction with Jason. That would have happened regardless.)

Intertwined, in my opinion, is too strong a word to describe what is coming for Jason and Sam’s storylines. Jason is affected by what Sam is doing because the media attention surrounding her new job puts the spotlight on the Morgan-Corinthos business. The story, however, is very much about Sam. Not Jason and Sam.

If you don’t see that as their two stories moving in separate directions, that’s fine. Jason and Sam will still interact because they are still a couple. At times their individual stories will cross and affect the other. At the moment, however, there is no Jasam story.

I hope that makes my statements clearer.

Also I don;t understand the reason for LLto get remarried only to split them up. Is it possbile that they will stay married. Last think latley Liz seem to actually love lucky, when she see's Jason she has a look of pity. Maybe LL are staying together.. Becky did say that the producers are invested in LL2.

I’ve answered this question many times before, but once again, the purpose of LnL2 remarrying is to pack as much emotional punch into the baby reveal as possible. It has nothing to do with LnL2 as a couple

The producers are only invested in LnL2 as far as it serves the purpose of the big picture. That is Jason and Elizabeth’s baby and the reveal.

Nothing has changed. Again, as I’ve stated many times before, if it does I’ll happily post it so I don’t have people asking me all the time.

I’ve heard no plans for a WTD with the Jax/Carly/Sonny triangle. Sorry, but don’t look for Sonny to be focused on anything but Carly in the near future. Business will take a higher priority in the coming weeks and Sonny will have more variety in what he’s dealing with, but he will still be all about Carly.

Emily finds out about Nik and Robin on 4/4. That is also the day she sees the kiss and she is devastated.

One more - I don't know if you lurk at SD anymore, but we had an "insider" come on last weekend and make some claims about May sweeps and other stuff leading up to it. I was curious if you got to see that info. There was some stuff that said Patrick/Emily don't find out that Robin/Nikolas are faking even into the beginning of sweeps and also that Robin/Emily fight and Patrick sides with Emily sometime in April.

I've always been under the impression that they shoot 3 weeks out so they'd be shooting the week of the 9th right now. I don't understand how someone can claim detailed stuff for mid-April and into May when the scenes haven't even been filmed.

Honestly, my thought is people get bored and make stuff up to get a rise out of various fanbases. Scripts for May sweeps aren’t even finalized yet.

I know that Lucky finds out before Sam does. I have yet to find out any info on when Sam finds out the truth. Liz tells Lucky.

I haven't heard anything about her re-signing. However there is no big "hub bub" over her negotations so, they must not be too worried. I don't know if thats a good sign or a bad sign.

Emily becomes more prominent in the Craig storyline around the 2nd-3rd week of May.

Alexis and Craig are very much on the table. The powers that be are measuring fan reaction to them. By May sweeps, it will be a full-blown romance if all goes well.

Thank you. I don't suppose you know what's in the works for Sonny and Carly? (I'm kind of afraid to ask.)

Unfortunately, the Sonny/Carly/Jax triangle is in limbo right now. The writers want to pursue the Carly/Jax angle, but are afraid to leave Sonny stranded without a love interest. Look for some interesting interactions between Sonny and Amelia as a chemistry test in the coming weeks.

Are they just testing them because they have no one else? And another question, why don't tptb test actors out before they are hired? It makes would be better to do that during the casting calls imo.

I have to step out, so this will be my last post tonight.

Unfortunately, there aren't many women left on the canvas for Sonny whom they haven't already tried, or who are already otherwise engaged in other pairings/triangles. Amelia is fresh blood, and Frons/Guza are very excited about her. She may be on contract within the next month or so if they find that fan reaction continues to be favorable.

Not much to report. The baby paternity secret will drag out indefinitely, accompanied by some angsty scenes between the parents-to-be. Sam will begin to gravitate out of his sphere, and theirs will be a slow separation

Unfortunately, no. I don't even think the writers know how to untangle that mess they created

There is some truth to the PTB leaving some "options" open reguarding Ric/Alexis.

What about Ric and Skye? I'd prefer that Craig kill Ric so Alexis could get Molly back, but Risky could be interesting

Insider, does Ric pay for his crimes or does he beat Sonny, finally. Does he keep Molly. Are Ric and Skye "on the table"?

I haven't heard anything about Molly going into May Sweeps.

I do know that with Alexis going into another story direction kind of suddenly that storyline was kind of changed/shifted. Ric was not meant to keep Molly for this period of time.

Ric does not beat Sonny. Lorenzo fails. Ric's "Rat" turns on him. But Ric soon finds other opportunities that can bring Sonny down.

Ric asks Cruz to become the inside man in Sason's organization but Cruz turns him down. Later on, Lucky accepts the mission.

Liz wants to abstain from marital relations until after the baby is born.

Nikolas doesn't believe he and Robin will make a convincing couple in public. Robin insists they trust each other enough to practice in private.

Sonny resolves to treat his father better because life is short. Neither he or Mike realize how short it truly is.

Angela was married to the late Bill. Desiree was married to the late Randall. Maggie was married to the late Eric.

Spinelli wonders if the fact Jason isn't coming home at night has to do with lying to Sam or being "true blue" to Liz.

After giving all 3 suitors a chance to impress her on dates, Lulu feels drawn to Logan. He gives her an impulsive kiss, to which she responds, but then counters with a slap.

Lorenzo continues to manipulate Skye by feigning his condition. All the while he makes sure her name is the one left on any and all paper trails.
