I thought the idea of Carly leaving Morgan with Sam was too far fetched as well. But that's the nature of soaps.

I think they were focusing too much on Courtney's one year anniversary of having the miscarriage, I mean she was pregnant of all a week, come on! And Jason didn't find out until she had lost it, he never had a chance to even accept the fact that he was having a kid with her.

I'm betting that Tyler Christopher will get a Daytime Emmy out of the current storyline, excellent acting on his part.

Believe it or not, I've been watching since 1968!! The show was only 30 min. long, and it was in black and white as I recall. The "hot characters" were Steve Hardy, Audrey, and Jessie Brewer. There was background tremoring organ music during dramatic parts. lol

Even though I've faithfully watched for 36 years (I videotape it when I'm at work), I ALMOST quit watching a few weeks ago. I was disgusted at how low they would stoop when they had Dillon dressed up as a girl. Totally stupid! Even dumber than when they had Alexis dress as the butler.

Well, I decided to hang in there because I can't imagine "abandoning" GH after all these years. Fortunately, with a videotape I can always fast forward through the Dillon-in-drag parts.

I'm not for certain why Mike doesn't like Jax, but maybe because after Brenda and Sonny broke up, she ended up with Jax?

I think he just doesn't trust Jax since Jax has always hated Sonny. He thinks Jax is just trying to get close to Courtney in order to get under Sonny's skin.

Believe it or not, I've been watching since 1968!! The show was only 30 min. long, and it was in black and white as I recall. The "hot characters" were Steve Hardy, Audrey, and Jessie Brewer. Travelbug - I also watched it back then! I don't know, though, if I started in 1967 or earlier. I haven't watched continually though.

I disagree though about Dillon in drag was dumber than Alexis as the butler. I'm afraid nothing could be dumber than that!

So what does everyone think of the murder "mystery" so far?

RadioNate - I was kind of disappointed that Sage wasn't really dead at the beginning of yesterday's show. That girl (character) just annoys the heck out of me!!!

I'm not sure I'm liking it yet. I'll have to wait & see...I sure hope it gets better. So far it seems a little too much like a teenager wrote it, but that could be deliberate b/c the teens have been the highlighted characters. I like Dillon, Georgie & Brook, but will be happy with the mystery if it gets rid of Sage.

What did you think of the Heather/Lila thing?

Wait, did I miss something? I thought Sage was pranking them the first time, but was actually dead at the very end? No? Darn, she is so annoying!
I was sure it would be Sage when I read that someone was going to die in a case of mistaken identity when the killer was really after Emily. She's the only one who looks enough like Emily to make it work.
Didn't they just use this storyline a few years ago to kill off Katherine who mistaken for Laura or someone on the parapet at Windermere?
I hate it when they repeat storylines so close together. Of course, I have a LOONNNG memory when it comes to GH, I remember back to the days of Audrey and Jessie and Steve too. (I was a small child at the time, of course!)

zippeedee - wasn't Summer pushed off the parapet after being mistaken for Emily??? I think Katherine went off the parapet too but I don't recall why. Death by parapet seems quite popular on GH.

Lately GH has been nothing but recycled stories. They really need new writers. They are so interested in the young demo that they don't care that we've all seen these stories already.

The whole Nik memory thing was so Jason Q.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Nik/Emily. It's actually her I don't like. I know who the killer is (since it was all over the soap mags, on the special ABC ran and even bachelor Bob is talking about it) and I wish SHE'D stay!

Poor Sage, the character never had a change. The first Sage was ok but the recast was silly. The girl played a different character a few weeks earlier. I feel bad for the actress since it's not her fault her character was so hated.

Editing to add - how come Felicia, Mac and who knows who else can get to the Q mansion but no one can find a way to leave???
I'm mean really Faith is trying to get out, Justus, Sage wanted to leave, Heather, Nik....they are all stuck there yet Felicia and Mac got there no problem. This show is so dumb.

Sorry - I didn't mean to confuse anyone about Sage. I was so bummed that she wasn't dead, that I was reluctant to believe she was finally, "really most sincerely dead."

I'm tired of both the recycled storylines and the way Nicolas & Emily keep getting back together & 2 days later Nicolas is "dead" again! - or has amnesia or or or

And I agree with RadioNate - Emily is really getting on my nerves! She hyperventilates, can't speak a complete sentence & smiles at the most inopportune times. Don't ask why I still want her to get together with Nicolas - maybe I think she'll act more "normal" if they're happy?!?!?

But trust me, she's not nearly so annoying as Antonio over on OLTL! He may be "hot" but his acting stinks! Talk about hyperventilating whenever he's upset!

Oh, yeah, Summer. I knew it had something to do with Laura, wasn't she the first Laura-replacement? That parapet has seen a lot of action!
I have grown to like the new Emily, I hated her at first. I think she and Nicholas have a lot of chemistry, but they need better story. You can only get sick/lose your memory/play Romeo & Juliet so many times and then it gets old quick.
I guess I am out of the loop, I don't know who did it! Is it Heather? Helena? someone else with an H? Help me here!

I will say while I think Emily is dumb she isn't as stupid as Jessica on OLTL! Yes Jess and Antonio are quite the pair. She's a moron (first Mitch and then Haver and now Tico) and he Huffs and Puffs like the big bad wolf. I do laugh when he gets all bug eyed

Summer was killed by a henchman of Stefan's. Stefan wanted Emily Dead. Summer was pushed off the side of the cliff on Windemere on a foggy night. The hench man mistook her for Emily. Whew.

Katherine was pushed off the parapit... she was killed a way back but I can not remember who killed who that time... I just remember nobody went to jail for that murder either...LOL


still liking Em and Nik! Yay!

but GH is desperately in need of African American cast/characters.

Wish Mary would stay.. love the actress... I think the writers could have done soooo much with this character.

The whole Q mansion murder story line is supposed to be a quirky takeoff on the DOL whacky murder storyline.

Loving Faith and Justice... always have loved Faith.. I just hope they don't soften her up too much.

I'm glad Sage is gone. Never liked her, either actress.

I'm just curious as to whether anyone has any strong opnions about Sam wanting to name her baby after Lila. Under the cicumstances(she didn't know her, pregnant by a married man, marriage in name only, etc.), I'm not altogether comfortable with it. I guess it's supposed to be something to make Jason happy, he really loved her, but still....

Well, I wouldn't say I have a "strong" opinion about it, but it kind of falls in with the idea that Sam is falling for Jason. Even though she still "thinks" that she loves Sonny, I'm kind of hoping that she & Jason get together for real. In that situation, it doesn't seem so odd.

I kind of thought it was sweet. Jason has done so much for her & this was something she could do to make the baby seem more like Jason's. I know, I know - I'm a sap!

Did anyone else notice that both Emily and Sage were wearing white jacket-type things while wandering around the mansion? Gotta set up the look-alike thing I guess.

Loved Alice charging around the mansion wielding her broom.

I for one am glad that Mary is on her way out. I thought she was majorly annoying and whiny.

I'm glad Nik got his memory back and that he and Emily are still together.

Haven't read every post on this thread, but has anyone else noticed how much hardware Georgie and Brooke are wearing on their hands? Good grief, I'm surprised they can lift their wrists.

Must be about time for Luke to come back after his annual summer off. I look forward to his return. He always keeps life interesting around "Port Chuckles."
