I like the new opening ok. I think it will take some getting used to. The pictures are so flashy it's hard to see them.

I thought the end with Tony Geary was just another way to focus on him.

I didn't watch last week either and caught yesterday's episode on Soapnet. The scenes with Mac were so BLAH. I thought he would be more gung ho in trying to get Mary. Instead it takes Nikolas to say that they needed to get her.

Mary-What a great actress. Too bad they made her psycho instead of hooking her up with Lucky or someone else.

I like Brook Lyn and Lucas. They were really good together yesterday.

Anyone else excited for the big wedding in November? Nikolas and Emily. From what I read it is going to be a big event and they will play up the fact that Emily will be a Princess.

LOVE the new Beginning, its very nice, they did a great Job. I must play catch-up with this soap as I have not been watching it on a regular basis---taking a nap instead. So, Mary has lost it, there is a clairavoyant that Lila is speaking thru, and Tony geary is back! How exciting! Anyone here going to SSW in November? I WILL BE THERE! Along with Mickey's Sunshine from our AMC thread!

Lila spoke through Heather Webber. At first, Heather was faking, but then when she did it the next time & Lila said to warn Emily, it was for real.

Ah yes, I remember Janet from another Planet. She was Natalie's twin sister who had plastic surgery, right? She fell for Trevor, right? What ever happened to her? I think she was Heather first, then Janet, now Heather again.

Someday I'd like to go to SSW, DH would be miserable. OOh, I could send him golfing, he'd be happy. Hmm, maybe next year.

Right around Halloween Skye turns into a Cassadine!
There is lots of speculation on HOW she will be a Cassadine.
-Is she the REAL Kristina? Alexis' Sister?
-Love Child of Mikkos that Helena hide away?
-Rae is really not her Mom.
-She is a Cassadine AND a Quartermaine. (Tony Cassadine had and affair with a female cousin of Edwards=Skye.) Gave her to Rae for safe keeping.
-Rae had an affair with a Cassadine (Savros?)

When Morgan becomes ill Kristina is the only one who can save him. Enter Steven Webber (he's a cutie!)

Sonny wants papers drawn up that give him unlimited access to Sam's baby. Jason says NO WAY!

Once again Sonny starts to believe that all his children are "cursed". This leaves Carly without the emotional support she needs from her Husband. here somes Steven Webber. (YAWN!)

Sonny does not want John Durant (Carly's Dad) any where near the boys. The is very mad when Carly meets up with him.

(Does everyone know that John has chosen Sonny as the next person he is going to"take down"? He is a Federal Prosecuter.)

Sonny is headed to jail.

Jason and Sam begin to have feelings for each other.

Helena turns nasty to try to prevent Nikolas and Emily from getting married.

Faith becomes a new woman.

Georgie and Dillon make love in September. (Adrienne Leon (BrookLyn)will sing their 'song'.)

Brook and Lucas have sparks.

Steven is hired by John to start a relationshp with teh wife of Sonny Corinthos. John does not know that Carly is his Daughter. Steven will feel guilty when he starts to like Carly. He doesn't think she should pursue a relationship with her Father.

Sonny finds out about Kristina arouind the Sam time Sam has her baby. (No one knows if the baby is going to live or die.)

Lorenzo and Lois make love.

Jax gets bit by a snake while on an island with Courtney.

There is a past connection between Lorenzo and John Duarant. (Some think Sophi is John's Daughter.)

Ric and Alexis want Ric to adopt Kristina. (Why not Ned?)

Sonny will lose Carly to her Father;
His baby with Sam to Jason;
His Daughter with Alexis to Ric;
Already lost Courtney to Jax;
Then he will lose his freedom.

See what I don't get is.... there are rumors that Maurice B is leaving GH.. at the end of Dec.... but then GH uses "Sonny at the very begining of the new opening.... hmmm???

I am NOT a fan of the new opening.... sorry... all the "kids" are heading the show.... I think GH needs to layer it's generations and give respect to the elder members of the cast. Now I like the Kids.. don't get me wrong... just think GH needs to give "props" to its history. I am sure I will get used to the new opening.....

I, too was wondering what was up with Tony Geary walking away during the Tuxedo clad group shot... Hmmm??


The murder storyline was a kooky take-off of the Days Murder storyline(totally whacky! from what I have caught of and on)
I loved Alice in these episodes... I hope they keep her funny... she can pull it off!
I like how it brought Faith and Justus forward.. and showed a different side of Faith for sure.
Felicia gave Mac a big old Kiss.... hope GH is going somewhere with this....
WHY DID MAC NOT SHOOT MARY WHEN SHE FIRST CAME TOWARD nikandem?
oh.. and I have to tell you the best scene for me...
when the kids were in the Library and MARY is staring thru the window.. YIKES!!!
No SONNY and Carly overdose this past week.

Didn't I read a spoiler on here earlier this summer that said that Lucas would be gay? Doesn't seem like that's where they're headed with Lucas. Or was that just somebody's guess?

I think that having Luke walk off in the opening tuxedo scene is pretty appropriate, since he leaves the cast at least twice a year for very lengthy vacations.

Yes, that's right.

Mamjoan-I wondered about that too. I guess they were supposed to air this new opening around the time of the Daytime Emmy's. Maurice was not leaving then. Maybe he will just go on vacation for a while.

I think the "Luke" part walking off is just vintage Luke. He likes to be a loner so him walking off suits his character.

I wonder how Lorenzo will respond to Mary killing Sage since he is the one who helped Mary with her lies. Hmmm, could be interesting.

Okay, I just watched today's show, Tuesday, and I wanted to hit Emily, Sonny and Carly.

Why does Emily breath wierd when she talks? And why Why WHY did she have to see Mary in the hospital.

Sonny is the most selfish person on the planet. Sam is right, he is only thinking of himself and she is thinking of the baby.

Carly and this whole dad thing. She is sure making Bobbie mad!


Well, as expected Alcazar did not take Sage's death well. He seemed to forget that he played a part in Marys state of mind. If he didn't help her, maybe she wouldn't have gone bonkers and killed his neice.

Are we supposed to like Emily?? I really wish that Emily would go away. She's always in everyone's business and a total self-rightous know it all. The sad thing is that I loved the old Emily and Emily and Zander (pre Emily going away). I know people like her I just don't get it. Today I just wanted her to stop talking. I find her SO annoying and so unlikable!

I don't get Mary as psyco - she was disturbed completely grief sticken and a little off balance but she wasn't a murdering psycopath. I think Helena did something to her we just don't know it yet. 2 weeks ago she was fine, she knew Nik was Nik and loved him. Now she's totally nuts???

I also don't think Nik was totally right in shooting her. She wasn't doing anything at the time. You can't tell me that guys like Nik and Justus couldn't have just jumper her while Mac held the gun or something.

Last week was totally cheesy but I liked how they used all the Q's. All generation together weaving one story. I wish Lucky and Elizabeth could have been part of it though.

Funny, I didn't miss Sonny or Carly at all. Didn't miss Jason, Sam, Courney or Jax either!

Sometimes I wonder why I bother watching anymore
