On Thursday, August 16th, Sam watches Jason and Liz embrace when he walks out of the courtroom so they don't exchange dialogue. Later on she drops by the penthouse to tell him she's going to sleep with Lucky in order to make Liz pay and then Jake will wind up without a family.
What is Jason's shocking confession to Spin, that was this week right.
If Liz leaves Lucky, he wants her and the boys to move into the PH because he wants have a life with her

There is no gunshot. The men just threaten to hurt Jake and Cameron

It's mutual. She pulls away, acts embarassed and flusters and runs out of the house. Lucky sits there surprised at himself. Sam is then shown outside the house, smiling and very satisfied with herself. That is the script direction.
so does the attack on Liz and the boys happen on Friday of this week?
Yes. The men approaching and threatending the boys is the tag scene for Friday, August 17th
So, somehow, they'll both end up at the bridge having the same topic on their minds? That's got to be the hook leading into Monday the 20th's scenes.
I agree with an earlier spec that maybe Sam is lurking around somewhere and overhears their conversation and hatches her goon-squad attack on Elizabeth. Sounded plausible to me.
Sam orchestrates the attack before Jason and Liz speak to one another. Liz is on her way to speak to Jason about them being a family, when she's stopped by the men. We only know where she's going because she tells Cam they're going to Jason's house.
Does Lucky have a clue that Liz will leave him or does he think his wife is still trying to work out their marriage?
He's walked out on her at this point and no longer sleeping at home. He's staying at the PCPD and is not talking to Liz. Only Sam knows where he's staying.

Lucky later tells Sam, he's sleeping at the PCPD because he doesn't know if he can stay with Liz now that he knows she's been sleeping with Jason for a year and lying to him.

So sam sets up an attack saves them and Lucky is forever greatful. Sam can hold Jake whenever she wants. He is gonna feel like such a douche.
He's also going to be her bodyguard because she's now a target because she saved Liz and the kids.
Nice! If I was a Lucky fan, I would feel sorry for him...but I am not.
Lucky feels guilty because Sam put her safety on the line to save his kids and wife.
I really wish Spin would wake up to who and what Sam really is.
