Wasn't it announced before you could actually book it last year? I would think it would be written somewhere with when it could be booked at lease a day before you could actually call in.

I had a NIGHTMARE last night that free dining came out, and I couldn't remember the number to Disney reservations I couldn't find the number anywhere! I searched these boards, and the Disney website, and my Passporter, and nothing! I couldn't find it! And I was freaking out and everyone on the boards was like "hurry, free dining rooms are running out!" and I was so upset!

I called this morning, I asked, if there is any specials or free dining for my time period. She said no, and If there was, I would get through the mail or email. She check my name for codes, she said, there was none. That was it.

I have a ???, I have noticed, there are some of you that are Travel agents, when do you find out when the codes comes out? and how soon do you post the codes?

Sitting here ....dying....just waiting to see if I can get anything!!

Assuming they announce it soon (this week), you wouldnt have your card in time to use it as it takes a little over a week to get the card. In the past, the DVC holders have had 2 days i believe before the general public to book the free dining. No one is sure that will happen again this year or not.

I have turned my husband too! Yesterday when someone wrote in that free dining started we both lost it before we scrolled down to see it was just a bad April Fool's joke. So I made him call anyway, for the third time that day! And the CM said "No, not yet. I don't know where you people are getting your information. Stop calling me!" ....if they would hurry up and just give us some info we would stop calling.

I think Disney Visa is updating their site. The page that offers deals for Disney is sporting a different look. It looks like they are updating.

I did this last month . It took couple of weeks to receive it.
So far, nothing! ...just waiting and checking out the website twice a day ....another reason I signed up is because you get 10% off merchendise in downtown disney.

Its a Chase card. According to news articles they are the wors't with service and fees. The Disney rewards are poor compared to other cards. Guess you could get it if free dining is what you want, however will they offer it each year?

Yeah, I guess I'm not too concerned about free dining...I mean I really want it, but I'm going to pay for it regardless...I think it would just stink eating at restaurants knowing I paid for the food and everyone else got FD...and honestly, I really don't want another credit card, so I guess I'll just wait it out!

Hi hope you dont mind me joining in to get info on Free dining.

I pop in and out of the weddings board, first time here though.

Our vacation is booked for August 5th-19th so looks as if we're out of luck this year.

Never mind you just never know. Keeping everything crossed just in case.

I can access News and Offers at the disneyrewards.com site, but I can no longer find ANY offer page when I go through Chase with my account. I remember there used to be a tab, or icon or something. It shows me my reward $, and how to redeem them, and that's it.
What am I doing wrong?
