Neither for me. I never do the dining plan, it's a waste of money for me since I don't eat that much food. I never buy packages since I have an AP and don't need tickets but even if I didn't I would have to price out how much it would be getting a room at room only rate at whatever discount was being offered at the time and discounted tickets at an authorized reseller. I would also have to price out hotel rates at other resorts, especially Swan/Dolphin.
You couldn't pay me to take a Disney cruise. If I were going to go on a cruise I'd find some boutique cruise that didn't hold as many people and went somewhere other than the Caribbean. I've been to all the places that Disney goes there except their private island on scuba trips. I'd get bored silly on the ship and since I've been to the ports would not want or need to get off. If I'm just staying on the ship and laying around the pool, I could most likely get a room at a hotel on a beach for less. Having said that, cruising has just never appealed to me so there is that.
