okay... here's the part that has me baffled... mousesavers last year had something on their site a few days in advance saying "coming soon/be on the lookout" type thing (at least that's what my memory is telling me) and as of this morning they still have NOTHING!

i hope it's slow at work today so i can call disney visa myself

Hi everyone! I just called the 1-800-number ion the back of my VISA card and.... FREE DINING WILL BEGIN ON APRIL 9th!!! He read off a memo that it is a 5 night/6day stay.

I called as well and the woman on the phone said ad they has no infomation on travel packages. All packages are from disney. So who is right?

Just called Disney Visa and got a very talkative employee!!!!! They received an e-mail yesterday that she read to me word for word....Disney Visa holders will receive an e-mail on Monday, 4/9 - that's when we can start booking the free dining package. Minimum 5 nights at "select resorts". MONDAY IS THE DAY FOR DISNEY VISA HOLDERS!!!!!!!

I didnt get the email last year, does the email have a pin code or a specific General use code for anyone with a visa? Do we call CRO or actually do it through the Disney Visa people?

I asked her specifically if she had any information re: free dining at WDW for Disney Visa card holders and she said they had no information
I'm going to call back and try someone else....I need to know what the dates are

I was thinking the same thing. Last year Mary (Mousesavers) posted "a little birdie told me free dining was on the way..." a few days before it was available. I've been checking her site everyday and there nothing.
I'm glad Visa confirmed it!

I read on a post that you have to make a purchase and receive one statement in order to be eligible for any offers.

Does anyone know if this is the case??? I hope not.

Also offering 6 mos 0% interest for bookings!

This offer will go out to the general public on 4/12.

The woman I spoke with was reading off a computer screen and appeared to be VERY knowledgable for what thats worth!

okay...she came back and said book between 4/9 and 6/24 valid for most nights for travel between
8/26 and 9/22 5night/6 day package at most value resorts

crap....I need earlier in August ~ we arrive on 8/23

The lady I spoke with read the e-mail word-for-word.....I feel very confident the info she gave me was 100% legit. I didn't get dates (sorry guys! she was throwing out all of this info and what I was fixating on was the start date for bookin - 4/9, and the minimum 5-night stay). I did not have to drag this info out of her so I'm sure someone else could call back and get the dates pretty easily.

ETA - sorry guys - I seem to be a few posts behind when I post these things! hehe Hey at least it's confirmation that this will really be happening starting on Monday for Visa holders. yay!!!

I am sure you will get one. They had some great discounts last year but they were not released until the free dining promotion was almost to its end as well as after it ended.

I am so excited to hear this. I do have to move up my trip a week and we won't be there for my DD actual Birthday but saving $800 is well worth it. Thanks everyone. I just love these boards!
