Calypso:

Everytime you post I like you more and more -- Excellent ideas.. all of them!

Why thank you!

See...I'm not always a trouble-maker. :scared1:

OT: Just noticed your ticker -- leaving in 8 days for the "world". How's the weather in your neck of the woods? I hope it won't create any problems for you. Here's to smooth sailing and a wonderful stay!

this ride is pretty uncreative, while some of the effects are cool i went on it once and would never ride it again! I kept waiting for something.. anything exciting to happen!

i thought stitch himself was pretty cool but thats about the highlight of this attraction.

this ride is definitly scary for younger kids and they might as well have kept it as alien encounter because at least that was entertaining for older kids/people.

the MAIN reason i will not go back is it smelled absolutly HORRENDOUS!!! we walked into the room and i was like what is this disgusting smell... well lucky me i got to smell it when the spray hit me. i wanted to throw up the smell i felt followed me for the rest of the day i had to wash my hands like 5 times!

Right now we're un-burying ourselves from about 2 feet of snow. Big storm hit us last night.. We're up by Maine just across the border in Canada.

Yeah.. we leave next Friday night.. fingers crossed for nothing more than RAIN on the way down. I keep check the weather at key points along the route via weather dot com every day.

Of course.. a 10 day weather forecast online is worth the paper it's printed on.. ha ha ha...

I cant speak for or defend this attraction, but i have a question. Ive been to WDW once and it was about 9 years ago. There was an attraction called alien or something like that. Is this the same thing but with stitch instead? It like escaped and was breathing on you and stuff? Well for what its worth i enjoyed that attraction. I was just curious if it is the same or similar to this stitch ride.

It is in the same building as the attraction, Alien Encounter, you remember. It has a similar storyline, i.e. Stitch escapes from Galactic Control (or whatever) instead of the incredibly scary alien from AE.

Plus, no Kathy Najimy or Jeffrey Jones (oh, and Tyra Banks, right? But not her voice).

Good times :goodvibes

The Alien Encounter pre-show was basically ditched and a lot of the cool stuff that went with it.

Now instead of breathing on you.. which was just fine in my opinion.. NOW Stitch burps a chili-dog burp in your face. GROSS.

Hello, About a month ago I spent four days with my family checking out the parks and I really havent' been here previously since like 1993. So i didnt' do AE. I however did think after my day at MK that Stitch was a terrible ride and I was basically shocked at how bad it was considering it was a Disney attraction and their attractions are usually so incredible. I might have been hyped up because I found out it made my five year old nephew cry and he wouldn't do it again so I assumed it would be pretty cool (evil thinking I know), but then i realized the reason he cried... I am usually easily entertained and that is only one of two attractions that I have been dissapointed with. Not only was the attraction itself poor. The stitch in the center was in bad shape and needed refurbished there was like stuffing coming out of the neck and looked really bad. I just think this is not up to disney standards. I have nothing against Stich or the movie I just think they could do A LOT BETTER everything else I have done was.

Another abombination that NEEDS TO BE REMOVED ASAP is... Journey Into Narnia at MGM... I was really embarrased I kinda urged my family to ride that because I thought it would be cool... The set was neat but it was basically a trailer for a movie that has been out for over two years.... I would have rather just walked around on a bigger set for some more time.

I was actually embarrased for Disney and myself.

Stitch is way down the list of things I think they need to worry about.

1. The Tiki Abomination.
2. The Jungle Snooze
3. The Carousel of little progress since it opened.
4. The furless bear garbledoree.
5. Dumbo's errr Aladin's Carpets.
6. Journey into stripped down imagination.
7. Sounds ready to be reworked.
8. The chronicles of movie trailers
9. Honey I'm getting ancient.
10. The attractions and/or movies in the following.
Mexico, China, Germany x 2, Italy x 2, Japan x 2, Morocco x 2, France, Britain x 2, and Canada. Put em in!!!!

They got to the Haunted Mansion otherwise i'd list it too.

We thought Stitch was cute and fun. It's repeat value is rather low but it will certainly do once a trip.

How could I have missed Dinorama. Level that place except for Dinosaur and start over.

So.. I finally got off my keister and made the graphic I've been thinking about for SO LONG.

It's here in my SIG file. Feel free to add it to your SIG file.. and join us at XS Tech. :)

Why do you want Stitch gone? For me -- it's just not that entertaining.

I did a little digging and "weliweli" means AWFUL in Hawaiian. I thought that was perfect. :)

in terms of personal enjoyment, I agree. However, my youngest son loves Stitch so much, that his heart would break if Stitches Great Escape were gone. It's his favorite ride. The only character he REALLY wanted to meet/get autographs of was Stitch.

My son loved Stitch too. He especially thought it funny that I'm the one that got hit with the spit and blasted with the laser.
