I havent done stitch yet but did do Alien and Alien completely scared the **** out of me. So if Stitch is like Alien, well yeah it will prob scare me as well. I do think that Stitch should be done so it is geared to younger audiences along with older audiences as well. If it is completely dark like Alien was then maybe not have the stitch ride in the dark. Leave the lights on. Or at least dim the lights. One thing they could do, is 2 things. Build another stitch ride, exact replica, like they did with mission space and have it geared to younger audiences. So that way the stitch ride for younger audiences will be that cute and cuddly stitch that everyone loves to see, and the other one can be geared to anyone who doesnt mind getting scared. Or, to save money and room, they could do 2 lines. One for the scary stitch and one for the cuddly stitch. And have 2 shows in 1 room. Have 1 show for cuddly stitch, then when that one is over, let the people in to see the scary stitch, then when that one is over, go back to cuddly stitch and switch back and forth like that. Or just compeltely redo the show and do cuddly stitch altogether. Have the lights dim so where its dark but you can still see all around you. Not where you stick your hand right in front of your face and cant even see your hand. Still have it to where he escapes but do away with the special effects like glass breaking and whatever else they have. Do away with the shoulder harnesses as well. Just have simple seat belts. Between the darkness, special effects and shoulder harnesses thats what scared most people, young and old. Not to mention the shoulder harnesses arent comfy at all. Last time I rode Alien, it actually hurt my shoulders. Have him still walk around the room, but do some fun and joking kind of stuff. Like blowing bubbles or something. Another opition is to have it where hes already on Earth, met up with Lilo and they are out on adventure to find a cousin. Have him do his elvis thing or something funny he does in the movie or cartoons. So many possibilites, and disney does need to make it a lil more child friendly. It is in the MK afterall. Where the characters come to life in a way where childern and adults wanna remember them forever. And Im sorry but remembering stitch as a scary alien and not a cute and cuddly alien just doesnt cut it for the MK. If they wanna have a scary stitch, throw it in MGM, since 3/4 of the rides there are geared to adult audiences. What do you all think?
