Called and made ressies yesterday for POFQ. I had nices CM named Tucker, he said I had a couple of pins, one with dining and one with hotels, but they expired on Aug 14 and Oct 14. He said they would be announcing within the next month Dec pins and specials to just keep checking back.

My question is how have others already gotten Dec pins if he told me there werent any out yet?

I have received one pin that expired in June, then 3 others that end in December. From what I understand, Disney can offer a pin to anyone they choose at other times than during a published special. I am sure there is someone on this board that will know more of the facts.

Hey guys, can anyone confirm this for me......On another board someone posted that the All Stars each have their own bus service now and that they no longer share. This was posted and when qestions were asked noone has responded. The posting is located in the Pop Century thread so noone there knows for sure!!!!! If you know anything about this, I would love to know! THanks!

I like to read these boards but I cannot decipher the acronyms. Is there a list to assist me in reading the posts here? I participate in many other boards and never have this problem... Here it is just one acronym after another!

How do I get a pin or other discount? Do I need a pin before I book? Where do I go for the "basics" to begin my understanding?

You do not need a pin in order to book. I booked our Dec 2010 trip in Aug of last year. I received a pin about a month ago and my TA applied the pin to my already booked trip.

I have done of all that - Disney web site, order maps, save trips, etc. AND travelled to WDW annually for the past 5 or more years. Still, no PIN. Are they only good for the person they are issued to?

Yes, unless that person is travelling with you so that they can be present when you check in.

Don't know when we'll be going, but this Dec we'll celebrate our 10th Anniversary! We accidently honeymooned (see here) at WDW and would love a little getaway weekend down there. Might depend on the codes if we stay onsite! Here's hoping for something awesome!

YAY! I just booked us for December 9-13 at Coronado Springs!!!! Going to be a surprise trip for the kids!!!! I cannot wait to see all the Christmas decor!!!! SO EXCITED!!!
