Ohhhhhhhhh man, I'm so sorry I've been deliquent. I'm still around, but things have been CRAZY at work the last few weeks (and by things, I mean my BOSS), I was in Texas to visit my friend, and I'm trying to do rewrites on my book so I can send it back out to the agents who suggested the changes. It's really a lot harder than I expected it to be.

Anyway, with that being said, how great to see that everyone had a happy holiday (I know, I'm late to the party...oh well)!! Kim, when is Brittany's birthday? I happen to know some very fine people born in early March.

Yup, my baby is going to be 8 on March 4th. ~sinff~ She's getting so big. She's going to have a Bowling party.

Did Clay's CD sales ever pick up? Did he make Gold at least? Does he have any plans for a new CD? Hopefully, original, this time.

I haven't checked in here b/c nothing seemed to be going on with Clay lately
I did play his Christmas CD all thru the holiday....it is my fave

We were at a concert in Red Bank, NJ in December.

So glad I went - Clay is funnnny! My friend couldn't get over him and some of his comments. "I really ought to filter things through my brain before they come out my mouth...but I don't!"

Just wanted to remind everyone that Clay will be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight to celebrate Valentine's Day with all of us!!

Rumor has it he's cut his hair...can't wait to see what sort of new "look" he'll be sporting tonight.

Oh, and by the way, Kim - Brittany's got a good birthday - mine is the 3rd!! And, if I recall correctly, 8 is the PERFECT age for the bowling party!!

Here's what we've got, posted today on his fan club site:

Clay Aiken summer 2007 touring plans are close to being confirmed with dates that start in July all across the U.S. Keep your eyes peeled to clayonline.com for show announcements in the coming days, along with on sale and fan club presale information. Get your oil changed, and calculate those frequent flier miles...the summer tour will be here before you know it!

In addition to that, two dates are floating around:

July 20 (Friday): Chautauqua Institute Amphitheater, Chautauqua NY (Tickets onsale on April 2 through the website http://www.ciweb.org/ - supposedly there are no reserved seats)

August 2 (Thursday): Embarcadero Marina Park, San Diego CA (Tickets onsale on April 2 or currently onsale for season packages - check out the website for more info http://www.sandiegosymphony.com/concert_detail.php?indexid=166)


I'll continue to update this list as often as I can as I hear new info. Green dates are those not yet on sale, red means they're onsale.

Newark? No way, no how, no thank you. This is a very bad city in NJ, and as much as I love Clay, I would not attend a concert there.

Thanks, Deb. I've gotta take a plane out of there to get to my Disney Cruise, so thanks a bunch for the warm fuzzies.

But actually, the rumored venue is the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. I've actually been there, and from what I remember (it was for an *NSYNC soundcheck), it's a beautiful venue in a decent area. I mean, I was a teenager, and my friend and I went and then had to wait to get picked up, and we were fine.

Anyways, it sounds like that'll be part of a second leg (supposedly a lot of indoor Northeast dates), so I wouldn't be surprised to see an Atlantic City date. Just keep crossing our fingers!!

Kylene, don't stress about the Newark airport. I've heard that it's a decent airport. It's the city of Newark that's not the best.

Still hoping for an AC date!
