Anyone doing an MK Dessert Party? Or have done in the past? I'd would like to do a little something extra this trip that we've never done, and since it's just my almost 20 yr old daughter and I, a dessert party along with the fireworks could be fun.

Yup, I love the HEA Tomorrowland dessert party with Garden View (not terrace seating). Its definitely worth the reserved view!

Has anyone had luck with ordering the "fun" magic bands? I was trying to get a few designs the other day but the page crashed and now all I see are the solid colors. Wondering if anyone has been able to get them and if so - what design did you pick?

I ordered ours last Friday and they arrived Thursday. I have the White Castle one, DH picked Darth Vader, DD has the Minnie for one and DS has Groot. Hoping the photo works!

I ordered when they were made available the first time. Hubby chose Donald Duck and I chose the white Minnie "All about the bow" band.

I ordered ours the first day they were released. DD got Vanellope and I got Tinkerbell. We're Canadian so we won't get them till we check in at our resort but they're showing in MDE as linked and active.

Same here! We get home on Aug. 7th and my kids start sports practice 10 day later and my oldest leaves to return to college two weeks later. So once we get home we will be in fall prep mode. I wish I could hit pause once the trip starts. ;-)

We get back late on the 19th. I will go back to work on the 20th and my dd will return to college on the 22nd. Since the boys aren't going this time, no one will miss any football practice which starts the 12th.

It's so hard to plan around four jobs, college, junior high sports, varsity sports, and school. This is the reason for a mom/daughter trip this time around.

I was late to the party and when I finally decided to look at the premium bands a couple of days ago, there were only 8 or 9 styles available. When I looked again today there weren't any premium bands showing. I hope they get more up before the deadline for our trip dates.

I am taking my son and two of his friends August 13-18 for his birthday. We will be staying at Boardwalk Villas. He asked to do a princess breakfast so I booked Akershus so three 15 year old boys can meet the princesses! We also booked the Star Wars Dessert party.

I really wanted to get 'fun' magic bands, but whenever I look, the only ones are the solid colors. Now I'm just going with those since I ordered shirts for dd and I to match our band colors. Pink for me, and yellow for her.

I was lucky enough to get two of the speciality magic bands, Epcot for my daughter and the snack one for me.

We ordered ours June 21 and they arrived June 27. DH got Pirates, and I got Spaceship Earth.

Yes, I googled and found an article stating the same, though there is absolutely nothing available 08/07 - 08/19 on DME.

I was able to book 8/14 this past Tuesday as soon as I saw the announcement (probably 1 pm est).
