Still sore and hobbling around though better off then I was a couple of days ago. Hoping this soreness will go away soon so I can at least resume light training soon. Because right now I am just walking funny so the furthest I have gone was walk from the DLH to the park and back and that was only because the monorail elevator was broke down and neither my friend or I really wanted to do the stairs at the moment.
Left ankle's holding out fine so the PT back in spring worked wonders. Though apparently now I have to strength train my other ankle (I worked both ankles at the time of the PT its just my right deciding to be troublesome right now). Because for some reason my right ankle is being funny. Not overly bad or anything other than being a jolty when I stand up after sitting down for some time. No clue why, I never injured the darn thing.
At least one thing went right this morning. They sent the information off to the insurance for approval for the surgery. Or they were supposed too at least.

Even if you are getting older, you get a new pair of shoes. It's a great trade off, right?
Enjoy your new running mix.
You'll be fine! just keep building slowly.
On the recommendations of a couple of blogging runners, I got some NUUN Hydration tablets. Forgot I had them in the pantry so I'm going to give those a shot as well. Unfortunately, the only thing I had in the fridge Monday other than water and Propel was the DH's nasty tasting Vitamin Water and some kind of blue Gatorade. Will have to try some Powerade too.
Talk about feeling like you were waiting FOREVER to get the show on the road!

. And adjusting back into school has just kept me off the roads. I need to get back where I was in my training. I will hit double digits this weekend or next!
. (I'm originally from New England, displaced by the Air Force, but that is home.) When I was back there in June, I found some days were absolutely unbearable for running no matter when I started out so I am unbelievably impressed that you have trained through it.
... any extra buffer time would be great!
but just under 200lbs.
. It was gorgeous outside...I couldn't resist
. I thought I was taking it easy and I stuck to the 8/4 intervals. I finished 6 miles in 1:12:02 which is right on pace. I walked the final 0.2 miles which brought my overall pace to 12:08 minutes. I'm fine with that
.
. I just can't get myself to make any ADR's because I really have no idea how often we are going to go to the parks. We have 4-day park hoppers but I am not even sure we will go to the parks for 4 days. Good grief
...I just want to "wing it", but I know that is not usually conducive to a smooth trip when you are talking about Disney
