The Next Iron Chef Super Chefs 2011

Soooo disappointed that Anne went home. I was hoping she would win and like someone else said I would watch Iron Chef if she was on. I don't really care for any of the chefs left. Having to pick someone to be in the bottom 2 didn't seem to be such an advantage and I think was unfair to Anne.

I think Alex is going to win, and I think its probably the same reasons another poster is saving until after this is over.

There have been small "tells" on the network that lead me to believe that she is the one they will choose but then again I could be wrong.

I don't mind Jeffrey and I don't mind if Alex wins but I can't stand Chiarello and I don't think anyone will choose Faulkner so it would be pointless to make her the next iron chef.

I was PO'd about Anne being sent packing, that was no advantage at all and as soon as she was in the bottom 3 I knew they would choose her to go in the bottom 2 because it makes for better TV drama.

I just think that Jeffrey and Chiarello both hate playing by the rules and am really rooting for Alex right now.

Ya know, I liked watching Easy Entertaining w/Michael Chiarello. I just liked that show. He never really bothered me. But he and Jeffrey just seem so pompous and arrogant on Next Iron Chef. BUT I truly do NOT like Faulkner. I've seen her over the years on other shows and I've just never liked her. So with her and Jeffrey in the finals, I really couldn't care less who wins.

Very bummed to see Alex sent home. Bummed that Faulkner beat Chiariello.

Glad that Zakarian made it to the finals. If Faulkner wins, I will not watch any episodes of ICA with her in it. I just don't like her for all of the reasons previously stated (her personality).

I hated the finale to last night's show. It had nothing to do with who was in the showdown. A little product placement is one thing, the whole finale was a commercial for Townhouse crackers and whatever brand of wine that was.


See it worked so well I can't even remember what brand of wine that was.

I was always Team Zakarian, call it anyway he cooks delicious food. As long as it is a ingredient he does well, he does not work well with concept so he probably wont be doing any festival specials but he cooks amazing food!

I was hoping for an Guarnaschelli/Zakarian finale, but, alas, it is not to be. Elizabeth Faulkner puts me off for some reason and I will be rooting for Chef Zakarian.

I think Faulkner will win, however, because I believe that the Food Network wants a woman to replace Cat Cora. I will be very surprised (and pleased) if Geoffrey Zakarian is the Next Iron Chef.

I agree that FN already knows they want Chef Falkner. If you can win an Iron Chef competition by just placing some food on top of your secret ingredient then its not really a secret that you are who they want on the show.

I so agree! I guess Zakarian is less "unlikable" than Falkner.

Anne would have been a great Iron Chef.

They have all but come out and said Zakarian is the next Iron Chef. they just decided to make a show out of it, instead of just announcing it. I lost interest 2 weeks ago

Top Chef has a redemption show that can be watched on line. But I noticed there is a link on Iron Chefs that asks the question who deserves a shot at redemption? So maybe someone is coming back?

Speaking of Top Chef Texas, none of these chefs on Iron Chef can hold a candle to how obnoxious Heather is on Top Chef Texas.

I agree - she's awful! I'm sure she's there for the drama, but, seriously, she has to go soon!

Anne was fantastic on the Daily Show with John Stewart this past Monday. She talked about how sad she is. I just love her.
