I feel stupid for asking this. How do you use the counters everytime you post? I went to Ticker Factory, cut and pasted I think bb which went well but now I can't figure how you use this evertime you post. I hope I don't have to go on their website each time.

You have to paste it in your Signature.
First on the DIS boards go to User CP It's at the top of the page, left hand side just above the advertising for the Swam & Dolphin click on the User cp

Then under Control Panel: click on Edit Signature when you open Edit Signature there will be a page that comes up that looks like when you post a new question...this is where you would paste your countdown ticker.

You would also post any other clip art here also.

Good luck

If you need help you may also visit Tech Support here on the DIS-Boards

Thanks, Beckie! I am hoping I get contacted & they have some fun stuff for us to consider! We're already set to take the MK train tour while we're there. :wizard:

Wow...they were fast! I got an email this morning! How exciting!

I was surprised to already see my name on the October list. My dates are the 20th-27th.

Does anyone know anything about the construction going on at WL? I understand the pool is undergoing a rehab, but I've read there is scaffolding going up around the lodge.

There isn't any "construction" going on. Just refurbishing. They started last year and are working from the inside out. The interior is complete. Now they're sprucing up the exterior.

Have you been there, and seen what is going on? How much of an impact does it make on the place?

We just got back on Sunday and the only impact that I thought the refurb had on the Lodge was if you wanted some pictures of it.

When we arrived last Wednesday, there was scaffolding on the "standard" rooms to the left as you entered the lodge. Then they moved to the front of the lodge. Sunday they were still working on the front of the lodge. We had no problem entering or anything like that. They are working on the wood exterior, removing rotted wood, repainting and repairing.

They had already completed the outside of the upper inner Courtyard. Also, a cast member I spoke to said they will not assign anyone a room where there is scaffolding.

The workers are moving fast, so they will probably be finished with the front in a few days.

Sewer...love your tag and signature, but as everyone knows....Pennsylvania is the home of the best HS wrestling ! ::yes::

Pennsylvania is tough! My middle schooler runs into Rob Wallers All American kids all the time, but northeast Ohio is the home of St. Edwards HS #1 in the country. :thumbsup2 If you review the top kids in college most of the kids come from Pennsylvania, and Ohio. I think it's because it's so cold during the winters, it's the only way to stay warm! :rotfl2:

Thanks! I was a little worried since I found out about it just after I got done booking my trip today. :scared1: I try to get a room overlooking the lobby because it's just a fantastic theme, and since the front will be done before we get there I can breathe a little easier.

We are "entertaining" the thought of WL. I've wanted to stay there in the past but liked the look of AKL pool better and preferred to pay Value and Mod prices.

Anyway we were booked for AKL and DH and DDs didn't want to stay there. A big factor for us is having a nice sit down restaurant. We don't like Boma so that's why they ruled out AKL.

Decided on CBR because we all like the tropics. I would like to treat ourselves to a deluxe this year. MK is our favorite park and we spend almost all of our time there. We like the thought of having the boat ride to MK plus having Whispering Canyon too. Please convince me to go ahead and bite the bullett. Will we be sorry to trade in the tropical lush landscaping?

And what about the busses do you share at WL to go to AK and Epcot? Thanks in advance and feel free to give out any info.

We would be staying in a standard view room so what about room requests?

Last year was our first time, and we loved it! Wispering Canyon is very nice along with Artists Point, and the pool is not crowded. If you ask for one of the standard rooms overlooking the lobby I think you'll really like it. :thumbsup2

make sure that when you eat at whispering canyon (name is deceiving, it's kind of loud, at least for being named "whispering") that even if nobody needs katsup, someone should ask for it at some point in the meal.
You will smile. and blush. I guarantee it.
