Soon to be colorful Fantasia--I'm sorry to hear of your sad story, and I understand how you feel when the dreaded anniversary rolls around. My mother died in December 1993, so it's been 10 years. That first Christmas was hard. The first few anniversaries I would sort of sit alone and watch the clock until the exact time she died. Not fun. Now I'm able to put those morbid thoughts aside and think about happy memories. It takes time, but you learn to live with the grief.

And I felt more than a little guilty when we went to WDW the first time after her death. She was always the motivator for our Disney trips, and it didn't seem right to go without her. But I remember seeing a rainbow out the airplane window as we landed in Orlando...it made me feel better somehow.

And like others have said, your family is beautiful.

Yes, it's also called penance. I did my first reconciliation in 2nd grade. It's kind of weird because what heinous sins do 8-year-olds commit? Anyway, it's one of the 7 sacraments to us Catholics (or in my case, EX-Catholic).

Thanks to everyone (else! LOL) for the good wishes. Unfortunately, today was pretty uneventful. The Casting Office is beautiful inside, but I basically just got some information and was told to check their website and Monster.com (both of which I do regularly anyway). Apparently they do not accept "general applications." So, I need to wait to apply for specific positions as they are posted. Guess I'll just see what happens. But hey...I looked darn good in my suit!!

We came back to the hotel to change then headed to Downtown Disney where we may have bought a few (too many) items.

Well, I just wanted to check in. We're going to Epcot tomorrow and I really need to get some sleep. I can't wait to ride Mission:Space!

The only unwritten "rule" we've agreed on is no duplicates. One other thing to keep in mind, light colors are hard to read. To see who's chosen a color and what that color is, you can go over to our color wheel. Here is the link: TAGLIARCHY COLOR WHEEL You'll find the code to everyone's color - at least those of us that have chosen a color. All you have to do when you want to use someone's color is open the wheel in another browser window, copy the code (highlight it and CTRL-C) then paste it into your post (CTRL-V). The same holds true if you want to insert someone's artifact.

My dh just got back from St Peteresburg last night and was offered a job at Raytheon. Sam would disown us-can't blame her. Plus I hate FL. Ohanafamily, your reputation as top techie remains unchanged. If I could put you in front of it for a few hours, I'm sure you could hook it up to the right gadgets and get it back in order. You're still da man!

Huggabaloo, please don't be mad at me. I usually enjoy your posts. It's just so hard to hear about people walking around WDW having fun when I'm sitting here in cold, dreary KY fighting with my stupid computer. I really do hope you have nothing but good times and look forward to reading your trip report.

About geffric's artifact. I think I can see why it wouldn't be right for her to be the official holder of the chocolate. It's something we should all have access to. Just like the pixie dust. Anybody can send out pixie dust, but only I have the tommie-gun full of pixie dust. Maybe she could have a device which can shoot chocolate at you? I have noticed that she seems to enjoy cooking and always brings such yummy treats to share. Could she be the holder of the chocolate recipe book? We need to get her an artifact, she's definetly deserving of one.

One last thing, if we do have a meet in October, we need to keep an eye on Nephosaurus and Deadheadbelle. These two can't even be trusted on a virtual trip, imagine a real one. Could be trouble. Another thing, start shopping now, I think we should each where a shirt in our chosen color-name color.

Hello Taglikins!

I've been watching you! Finally have a chance to post and to tell you all.....the story will be completed soon! I have a four day weekend with many household projects to complete...so you KNOW I'll be here instead!

Regarding TAGLIcon 2004...it's not impossible that I could be there in Oct. As I may have mentioned, I get a round trip airline ticket when I reach a certain weight loss goal, which should be in the spring...then we discussed waiting till my friend's birthday to go (early Sept)....so convincing her to wait one month, which would be mid-way between each of our birthdays might not be impossible. We'll see. **Didn't/don't you hate it when you'd ask your parents for something and they'd say "We'll see" ?!?!**

geffric I like the 'keeper of the chocolate chip pancakes' that cracks me up! Also, any word on your Scottsdale trip? Love to see you if it can fit into your plans.

ohanafamily as much as I would LOVE to come to the WDW in October.. I won't have any vacation time left after our cruise and 2 weeks in July at WDW...
Besides I do believe that my family would disown me if I went without them and the boys are in school. so they can't go..

Oh well if anyone is at WDW the first 2 weeks of July, we'll be there. As well as the Sat and Sun after our cruise..March 27 and 28..( LOVE THOSE AP's).
