Good morning everyone,
Thanks for the offer of a Wonka Bar ohanafamily. I quite often go to our local Blockbuster but have never seen them. I'll send you a PM. Yes there is a station at DLP which takes you directly into Paris. We used it when we stayed in Paris on our Honeymoon and went to DLP for the day. It took about 30 minutes from what I remember.
Mad4Mickey congratulations for your son. Good luck for the finals.
AZKathy:hug: and lots of pixie dust for you.
CourtasanSatine  Have you ever been to the Moulin Rouge? I was going to go when I was last in Paris but it was so expensive. I went to look at the building though and it looks good from the outside. Maybe its something I could do on our Paris trip in 7 weeks time.

So what is everyone planning to do today? I have planning to do for work next week and a few signs to do for displays in my classroom. My kids are learning about plants for the next 6 weeks so our room should look nice. I bought some plants and cut flowers yesterday for a display and a small plant for each child. The can look after them for the next 6 weeks and then use them to make an Easter gift with to take home before the next holidays.

:wave2: Have a good day everyone.

I am off to work, but am leaving some Chocolate Mickey Waffles for everyone...

:bounce:

Don't you just HATE it when you are flipping back and forth from a new post to the color wheel and you accidently click on the 'back' key on your way to the 'edit' key and you loose your post?

WELL I DO!

So, what I was going to say was blah blah chores. blah bah erands, and maybe the only interesting thing was that PixieMagic and I invited TiggersPal to come with us to WDW in October. She has only been to WDW once TEN years ago...and just one day at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. It will be so much fun to take a virtual newbie who loves Disney. Keeping our fingers crossed that she can come!

Good morning. Glad to see ibouncetoo, ohanafamily, Danauk
and CourtasanSatine are up early on a Sat morning

AZKathy sending a lot of hugs your way. So sorry you are not well. We hope you can get cheered up a little by the Taglicans!!

Congrats Mad4Mickey on the win!! and sorry cadburysmom on the loss.

The show was GREAT. A one man show. It was about a black chief butler at the white house who worked for 4 presidents. Hoover to Eisenhower. Fabulous!!
Lots of chores to catch up. We will be moving in a few months and need to start purging stuff. have a great day all.

Hello everyone! :wave2: I missed you! ::yes:: Sorry no color. For some reason my home computer often jams up when I visit the wheel. :( Anyway, I'm so far behind that I only read the last two pages.

AZKathy, sounds like you've been have a tough time. My thoughts are with you. Hope you are feeling better.

Ibouncetoo, I just got done reading that G.I. diet book. It's similar to Sugarbusters in that you eat low glycemic foods. I've been doing it for about a week, and it seems to be working. I'm feeling great and not craving sweets so badly anymore, and I've taken off a few pounds. :Pinkbounc

Anyway, we had a GREAT time. Eric got over his fear of chairlifts (Amen!) They have a high speed quad that is pretty amazing. It slows down right before you get on, and then whips you up the hill, then slows down again at the last minute when you get off. We had two great days. Thursday got up in the high 30's and the sun even poked out a little, and Friday got up to 44 degrees! So that snow got pretty heavy, and I have the muscle aches to prove it.

The hotel was nice too. We had a big suite with a separate livingroom. They had an indoor pool and a jacuzzi which we took full advantage of. :teeth: I bought a disposable camera. I'm going to get the pics developed today and see if they can put them on disc.

I'm quoting Cheeringmom because she did such a good job responding to everyone and I always leave someone out. So I say what she said!:teeth:

The new home - Lewski is winning in posts, Cheeringmom, Mad4Mickey and RickinNYC have been members since Day 1 (not sure if there are others, but I noticed them when I was reading through the original thread). Those are my nominees.

We watched Lion King 1-1/2 last night. Very funny.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_6_216.gif' border=0></a> Tonight we have Disney on Ice. Very excited<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_1.gif' border=0></a>. Today we have basketball tournament starting. Very nervous<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_4_45.gif' border=0></a>. Right now I am ready for breakfast. Very hungry.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/168v.gif' border=0></a>

Have a great weekend everybody!

Oh yeah, one more.

BichonBarb glad you're back from your trip and congrats to your son for overcoming his fear so quickly. He must have some great parents.::yes::

See what I mean? I just remembered another one.

Ohanafamily the plan sounds great! Looks like we are on the same page now. My DH gets along with everyone he meets. He can talk to anybody about anything. He's the talker, I'm the quiet one. Can you believe that?

llebrekniT, Agreed, GREAT!!!

Bichon Barb, what is the Color Wheel doing? the old one had ound that could make a slow connection slower, but the new one should be fine... Techie Support is on the line.....

Cheeringmom, sounds like a great show...

ibouncetoo, so you think you, TiggersPal, and PixieMagic will make it in October? (BTW, I occasionally hit the back button too while posting, if you press the "Forward" button it usually brings your post back...Go Ahead, Try It, It Works For Me!!!)

:bounce:

Hi there! It is good to be back with you all! The pixie dust is falling really heavy over my head, so you all are really sending a lot. I can't read to write with all the sparkles!

I got hung up in that nurses thread a few days ago, also, with brought a depressed person more down. Isn't that weird that a thread can get you down?

I am ready for some breakfast and to have some fun today! Be seeing you around!!!!!!

Good Morning everyone!!

I'm at work, bummer. I can't wait to be finished here today. I'm picking up pizza on the way home, then llebrekniT & co. will be coming over before Disney on Ice!!!

AZKathy, I hope you feel better soon. How frustrating all of this must be for you.

Well, the visitation last night went OK. No major fights, just a few nasty looks here & there. We took DH's mom & step-dad to Outback for dinner after, so that was nice. Oh, Josh & Lainie looked really cute, too. I'll post pictures soon. Don't worry, we took pics before leaving the house, not at the funeral home.

ibouncetoo, I'm so glad you asked TiggersPal to join in on the fun! I am so looking forward to this trip. I just wish DH would get his vacation approved. It is driving me nuts!!!!

Mad4Mickey, congrats to your son!! How exciting. Let us know how the rest of his matches turn out.

Bichon Barb, I'm so glad your trip went well & DS got back on the chair lift. One of my first trip skiing as a kid I had chair lift problems, too. The first time, I dropped my pole, not too big a deal, the guy behind me picked it up. Second time, my ski came off & I had to get off the lift on one ski. I still get tensed up whenever that chair comes at me!

This isn't nearly as dangerous or scary as the chair lift thing, but when I was 6 I was in the front yard of our house and my pants leg got caught in the chain of my bicycle. There was no way to get it out and my mom made me take my pants off and run in the house! AND my friends were there AND one of them was a boy! He was only 4 or 5, but still........

To this day I don't get on a bike with pants on.:teeth:

Good morning all!!:wave2:

Deadheadbelle So glad things went ok at the funeral home.....family disagreements are the worst.....that sounds like a mighty sticky situation and I wouldn't have wanted to be in your shoes.

AZKathy So sorry to hear about your back problems and what a frustrating situation you're in! Hope the healthcare issues get settled soon. Until then, I'm sending pixie dust and Cadbury chocolate your way!

ohanafamilyThanks for the tip about the Wonka bars...we'll scope out Blockbuster next time we get a movie! We love s'mores at our house, mostly watching to see if the marshmallow is going to explode in the microwave.....haven't lost one yet!!!!:teeth:

The weather is beautiful here today..... a sunny 67 degrees....I'm sooooooo ready for Spring!!!!!:bounce:

Arrrrrg.....been on the phone all morning with Shell Vacations/RCI trying to book/decide on the time share portion of the TAGLIARCHY DISmeet in October. I'm just using last year's banked points so I'll have to 'rent' a few extra based on rooms. If we do a one bedroom for the first 4 nights (Sa/Su/M/Tu) we only have to spend $56. If we do a two bedroom (which would be way nice if there are going to be three of us) it would cost $181 extra or $68 extra for a 3 night stay. So, in doing the 2bdrm for only three nights that's $112 that could go towards an additional night on Disney property. It's a bummer not knowing this far out if any AP discounts will be available. PixieMagic and I are OK with doing AllStars, but if TiggersPal comes, I'd sure like her to experience a moderate or Swan/Dolphin (to say nothing of getting in a Deluxe). There's the appeal of 4 nights on property in that it allows one more night of 'adult' behavior and no one (PixieMagic) has to be a designated driver ;)

What to do, what to do? PixieMagic and I are doing a three mile hike tomorrow and will hash it all out. We have to make a decision not knowing if TiggersPal can come or not...may not know that for some time yet.

So, to answer ohanafamily's question, yes PixieMagic and I will be there FOR SURE! Ready, willing and able to meet any and all TAGLIKINS who are there ready, willing and able to meet us for as many times and we call all stand so much FUN!:earseek:

ibouncetoo what resort are you going to trade for October? On our trip in June, we vacationed with two other families. One of the families traded within RCI to stay a week at Sheraton Vistana Resort for our first week (then we went on our DVC to OKW the second week). Anyway, we were not that smart in trading and what happens at the Vistana Resort with RCI trading and we got two terrible villas. They give the very old part of the resort to RCI trades. So, what I am trying to say is insist on the Cascades section, I mean DEMAND, if you trade to Vistana Resort with RCI. I would love to share what our villas were like if you would like, but I don't want to bore you if you are trading elsewhere. Let me know.

You all are going to have a great trip in October! It is a great time to go and it will be a lot of fun getting together with everyone!

AZKathy we'll be doing Celebration World Resort in Kissimmee. The "vistana's' were on a possiblities list, but they only trade full weeks and we're doing a partial. We stayed at CWR last Nov for a partial and it was very conveniently located. They are still building there and not all of their services are up, but at that time we were only interested in pool and hot tub, so that was OK. I sure loved having a washer and dryer in our 2bdrm and we did save some $ taking breakfast and a couple of other meals there. I really liked splitting the week. I LOVE being on Disney property, but did enjoy the break from the hulabaloo of what was 9 days at WDW. Today I also checked out Silver Lake Resort in Kissimmee, which looks wonderful, but to do a partial there it would have to be Tu-Fri (they don't do Sat check in) and I'd prefer to do Disney property at the end of the trip, for purely emotional reasons.

I'd love it if you would PM me your experiences at the Sheraton Vistana, I can print it out and keep it in my RCI book for future reference.

Just got back from Daniel's basketball game. They won! On to round two of the tournament!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_1_106.gif' border=0></a> It was a great game, my favorite kind, where our lead was never really in jeopardy. I can't stand the nail-biters.

Looking forward to ice show now. Need to get Ella-bug down for a nap. DHB's at work, sure hope her DH puts Lainie down for a nap soon, usually he waits and she doesn't take a nap until very late. Then DHB will be annoyed with him. Note to self: stay out of it!
