Morning TAGLIKINS. I'll have a cup of that Earl Grey ohanafamily (with Splenda, no milk) this morning, thank you. I'm doing laundry and trying to get awake. I slept 9 hours and feel a little drugged!

Might break down and do a few chores before I head off to the east side of town to meet PixieMagic for a 3 mile walk. Each weekend I plan to build up some distance in my walks as part of my weight loss/marathon training plan. The route we have for this walk ends at a CoffeeBean with a decaf, sugar-free mocha breve.....yummmm!

Must go make some breakfast now. I'm dropping off fresh baked apple crumb cake and a blueberry danish for you guys to share!

Lewski I think I have missed some of the details about your little one. How long ago was he exposed to the pox? I think I was told that the incubation period is 19 to 21 days, something like that. Please don't fuss at me everybody, but if I lived close enough I'd be over at your house rubbing Ella up against your kid.

Including your pig! So, how long have you had the pig? We were told at the pet store they don't ever sell any males. The males are only used for breeding and they don't bring them into the stores so they don't have to worry about them breeding when they don't want them to. Anyway, we adopted a guinea pig in Oct. She's Holly's pet. She's banging on her water bottle right now and I'm waiting and hoping that someone else is going to go in there and fill it up. Holly's still in bed though....

Had a whole post and then got this:
You have included too many images in your signature or in your previous post. Please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.
GRRRRRRRRRR!

Anyhow, he was exposed about 2 weeks ago. Has a fever now of 101.7, getting better, and a nose full of guck today. Ewwwwww. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Got the pig from a local gal. Have to say, never had any hamster or anything like this before and I really like him/her.

Lewski709, I hope the little one is feeling better. When are the Pigletts due?
Nephosaurus, they are coming any day. You would have to get permission, but I could get one to you. What do you call RRBB and ohanafamily anyhow, while we are visiting this subject?

Lewski709, the nomination is because you have the highest number of posts in this current home!!!!!
Yes, I know. Although, how the heck did I get the most amount of posts? <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_12_10.gif' border=0></a>

And, since I haven't for a while (and haven't noticed the TF's out much either since Alex's thread): <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_2.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_2.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_2.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_2.gif' border=0></a> for PB&J. ;)

Oops! I forgot to thank RRBB
for the link. That works much better. :D

WOW, it would be GREAT if Bichon Barb, Cheeringmom andgeffric could sneak in a girls get-away trip! I hope WDW can withstand an onslaught of the TAGLIARCHY!

hmmmmm. I think before many more months go by, we'll be working on the rest of the TAGLIARCHY to get there too.

Everybody pick up lottery tickets every once and awhile and desigrate them as the TAGLIARCHY DIScon relief fund!

Oh, also, the TAG FAIRY is on the job! My WISH friend DoeWDW got one withing minutes of making a post on the 18th.

So never fear, the beloved TAG FAIRY is alive and well!!

Good Morning everyone!!

Depplyinluv, so sorry about your crappy day yesterday. I bet it just means today is going to be super-great!! Go Johnny....or Bill, I just don't want Sean Penn to win. Yes, I know he is a great actor, but he takes himself a bit too seriously for my taste.

Oh boy..Oh boy..Oh boy..Oh boy!!!! Bichon Barb, Cheeringmom, & geffric at WDW in October, too. What a great idea, how about it ladies??? How about cadburysmom, Tigger Fans!, TNCarole, & AZKathy, too. Anyone else I am missing????

Bichon Barb, we haven't decided for sure where we are staying in October. My parents are coming for part of the time, so we have to get together & decide. I think we will probably stay at a Moderate the first few nights, then switch to a deluxe for the last few (assuming we will be able to get AP rates). I have always wanted to stay at Wilderness Lodge, but llebrekniT wants to be on the monorail (not that I don't, but WL just looks like such a pretty place).

I'm leaving some left over cherry dessert pizza from last night. It is soooooo yummy. I think llebrekniT & I were the only ones who ate it last night.

Disney On Ice was fun. I especially liked the $15 plastic glow-in-the-dark sword.....NOT!!! The show was really good, I would have liked a little more Lion King, but DH couldn't have been happier. He loves Jungle Book.

Have a great day everyone!

Deadheadbelle, did you ever consider staying in a Wilderness Home? They aren't cheap, but when you consider that you can eat breakfast there or come back for lunch, etc., etc...

Then again, you might like going out for three meals a day. I have to remember that not everyone has toddlers/preschoolers like mine were. Don't get me wrong, they weren't "bad boys"--just very active, so long meals were not our idea of a good time when they were little.

I'm rambling on, and I have to get in the shower and get ready for church. I'll talk to you guys after lunch.

Chow.

Just wanted to pop in and say Good Morning! Chocolate covered strawberries for everyone! :)

Oh, I think I found a smily that matches my DIS name...what do you all think?

We are thinking of staying in a Wilderness Home. llebrekniT has stayed there twice & really liked it. We usually eat 1 "good" meal per day (i.e. sit-down, PS type meal). We have stayed at OKW the last two trips & enjoy being able to have some meals/snacks in the room. Again, if there are AP rates, we may try it.

Thanks for the strawberries, YUM!! I think those smilies are quite regal, definitely fitting.

BichonBarb where did you get those rates on airfare? We usually fly Southwest because we have a rewards Visa that we earn free tickets with.

As Deadheadbelle said we are still deciding on where to stay and it won't be definite until AP rates are released. I'm betting that it will be either Carribean Beach or the Wilderness Cabins for the first part of the trip and then either WL, CR or Poly when the grandparents leave. We've stayed in the cabins 2x and I love them. The downside is that the pools there are not as nice, but the kids really don't care that much about the appearance of the pools, just as long as they have one. I probably won't make any ressies until the AP rates are released. Enjoyed your pig story.:teeth:

So Lewski it's not the pox?

Hi Danauk, how was your tea? Our plans for today include mulching, mulching, mulching areas in our yard as it supposed to be in the upper 40's and sunny and if DH doesn't have a project to do he is going to drive me up the wall today. He has more energy than anyone needs. If he doesn't have a project, his project becomes annoying me.;) We want to get ahead of the weeds this year, spread some clover and dandelion killers, stuff like that. Wanna help?

Thanks for the morning sweet fix Fred. I think if the crown fits, and indeed it does, wear it! What do you think of this guy <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_3_1v.gif' border=0></a>, he could be you. Just don't refer to that thing he is holding as a wand, or there could be trouble........

I have to check out for a while, but I'll be back later. Look at my number of posts! I will reach 1000 today and I want to do it here, in my home sweet home!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/208.gif' border=0></a>

i am rather depressed right now. for 2 reasons. (i hope you all don't mind if a silly teenagers vents here. if you do, just ignore me. i'm sorry in advance because i know my problems are rather trivial compared to everyone else's)
1--there was a poll in entertainment weekly predicting oscar winners. best actor: 1-sean penn 2-bill murray 3-jd and so on. but those were the important ones. i mean, why can't the stupid academy or whatever be real. yeah, sean penn is a great actor. bill murray, well i've never seen him in anything. jd, well we all know im biased. but i do feel pretty bad for him. i think it would royally stink if i had to sit through award shows, and just sit there. in all of them. not win. oh well. i think that if they went by people's popular vote, he'd win but noooo, the stupid academy or whatever does not appreciate him. oh well, i guess a nomination is good. wow, that whole thing was really redundant. and, if you don't know who i'm talking about, it's johnny.

2--my brother came in before and was like "this afternoon i might get to play the sims" in that mocking, little brother tone. i was like "why? that's my game." and see, my mom and dad would never let him play it because i didn't want him to, so they respected my decision. see, last time he played it, he wanted to delete some of my families so he could make families to live in their houses. i know i'm sounding selfish, but seriously! i'm doing pretty well in the game. anyway, so he said "mom told my i could. plus, she said that i could with how much u play it." and 'you' was referring to me. i haven't had much time to play it lately and so i haven't. and now my brother is going and rubbing it in my face. i was like "well thanks for telling me. that was rude." and my brother goes, "well i wasn't the one who said it." and i said "well you didn't have to tell me that mom said it." then he pushed me really hard on my sore shoulder because he knew that it was sore. now i'm stuck baby-sitting him and he never listens to me. if i try to be all boss-like, he just tells my parents. now he's intent on making fun of me and rolling his eyes and calling me a stupid, fat teenager. i know this shouldn't bug me because he's my little brother and it's his job to make my life miserable, but just a little while ago we got along great. i was happy about that because i don't want him to hate me and make my life extremely miserable. he says that he wants someone else to be his sister instead of me and that really hurts. i know it shouldn't and i sound really stupid, but it does hurt. i want to be the type of big sis he can trust and talk to, and on some days i am, but on others he just goes at me all day.

anyway, i feel better now getting all of that out. thanks.

Don't know yet, usually the pox break out after the fever and other symptoms....3 days about.

FPgurl04 how about putting some ben gay in his underwear, that'll teach him. BOYS! Argggggggh.

BTW, I like the sims and don't get to play much anymore, but I am there with ya. Moving your families out to move his in is rotten.

llebrekniT I'd love to help with the mulching. I did my gardening earlier this week. I've just got the back flower bed to do now but it might have to wait a few weeks as we are putting a water feature in it so need to dig a big hole!! Plus we need to hire a skip to put the excess soil in. My tea was yummy thanks. I had the rest for lunch today.

Majestic, thanks for the strawberries and I love the smily!!

Well so far today all I have done is school prep. I am now really organised though. I just need to print off a welcome letter for a new girl I have starting tomorrow and then write a maths homework sheet and then I am done.:teeth:

I guess I better get on with it then. :wave2:

hahahaaha! i could do a lot to him...muahaha

FPgurl04, I am so sorry you brother is driving you nuts!!! I bet he doesn't want anyone but you to be his sister. He just wants your attention & he knows you will react if he says those hurtful things to you. (and plays your game!!). How many years are between you two? My brother (he is older) & I are almost 5 years apart & we used to battle when we were younger. We both said things to hurt each other....Good news, now we are quite close & thanks to him I have an amazing nephew, 2 beautiful nieces & a llebrekniT. Also, my DSIL is 18 & my DSIL is 2 years younger. They have fought for the last 16 years, but now they are getting along & actually hanging out together. I know this all may sound far off, but hang in there.

Oh, in the mean time, the Ben Gay thing sounds like a great idea!!

As for JD, NO ONE can question that he is the HOTTEST nominee, right?

FPgurl04 of course you can vent here. We care about every member of the TAGLIARCHY and what they are going through. How much younger is your brother? My brother and I are only 13 months apart and were inseparable when we were little (almost like being twins) BUT things changed in Jr. High. He was held back in 5th grade (reading problems) so now there was two years between us in school. He went through a 'torment my sisters' stage. But things settled back down when he hit Jr High himself and in High School we had many of the same friends. So all I can recommend, is grit your teeth, stay as calm as possible and know he'll (probably!) grow out of it. ;) **I can hear my mother saying "Children, Love one another!"**

Majestic love the smilie AND, thanks for reminding me I had fresh strawberries in the fridge, I'm enjoying some right now!
