That is so nice to hear. You had quite a surprise when you returned then, didn't you. Hey, don't you worry about the age difference one bit. There are 9-1/2 years between my DS's and they get along just fine. In fact, it was so nice to have an older child who was a bit more independent when the baby came along. My "baby" turned 15 last week! My how time flies. Which means, you'll be back at WL with the new arrival in no time at all. Lots of luck and keep us posted![/COLOR=purple]

should I choose a WLV (studio) over a standard lodge room if I can get them for approximately the same cost? ( I found a DVC deal) I don't see much difference in the room size. I understand there is a kitchenette in the studio, otherwise I don't see the appeal?

Well they aren't the same, even though the sq. ft. may be close...the studio over at the Villas does have the mini kitchen area with refrigerator, mico-wave, toaster, and coffee maker. The room has 1 queen size bed and a queen size sofabed. When the sofa isn't being used as a bed the area is a nice small living area, meaning you don't have to sit on a bed the whole time your in the room, you have more room to move around in which makes it nicer for children to have some play space. (you would also have access to free washer & dryer while staying at the studio)

Either room is great so which ever you decide have a great trip.

Hi, Beckie here in North Florida...Laura actually is over in Italy, I do wish she lived a little closer...Artist Point is a very upscale restaurant that is only open for diner at Wilderness Lodge, we eat there when ever possable, but this trip I will have too many little ones to enjoy a nice relaxing dinner at AP. I'm sorry I didn't understand the part of your post that said.." I have a CM ps booked for the evening we arrive just before the mnsshp." But an option that your family might enjoy would to go over to Ft. Wilderness Campground and eat at Trails End...they have a great buffet click on the link below it will take you to the menu:

is that you have a Chef Mickey's Priority Seating before Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. That is a very fun place. Have you thought of eating at O'hana over in the Poly? You could easily take the boat to the CR and hop the Monorail to the Poly. It is a fun place to eat and very kid friendly. If you time it right, you might even be able to see 'Wishes' Fireworks from the Poly beach.

Congratulations!! Your boys will take good care their little sister! My Mother, too, had a "suprise". I was 16, brother 14, and sister 8 when the youngest joined our family. My parents felt kindof "weird" at first. Now that we are all grown, they were so glad she came when she did. It kept them young!!

I was considering Ohana's for a character brk one morning. We only plan on doing MK it the afternoons. We have one morning we are going to Epcot. Is there anyway to get to epcot coming from WL stopping at Ohana's? Where would be go leaving Ohana's? I think i could manage to get us there just not sure after breakfast how to get to epcot. Do a monorail from the Poly go straight to epcot or do we have to ride it all the way to the ttc and change monorails to get there? Thanks

One of the more seasoned WDW travelers can help out here but I think you can actually walk to the TTC from the Poly- so then you can just hop the Epcot Monorail from there.

Bingo. Did that this past May. It's a really short walk too. Of course, that may vary from person to person.

You COULD also take the monorail right from the Poly to the TTC then switch trains to the epcot monorail. It's a bit longer than walking but a nice ride so no biggy. Hey...you're on vacation right? Why hurry!?!?!

Hi WL fans, we havent been on in a while and it's nice to be back. We booked a family trip for November, 3 rooms Courtyard. Just a quick question though, Do they consider the rooms that face the Villas to be Courtyard rooms? We, of course would rather have a view of the pool. We are so excited, first trip with the whole tribe together!

The view you are referring to is called a Villas Courtyard view. Take note that it also faces the Villas "quiet" pool.

You want to request a main pool or center courtyard view.

My wife and I also enjoy the villas view as it is fairly quiet.

Howdy Lodgers!

I've searched all over the boards for a map showing room numbers of WL. Does one of these exist and where can I find it?

Also, with excellent help from this thread, we've requested an Inner Courtyard room, 4th/5th floor over lobby (Bear Face Room) Does anyone know if there any trees which block the views from these rooms? Looking at some of the photos from various websites, there are large trees, but it's hard to tell if they block the views when looking out toward the pool.

All WL rooms have a balcony, with the exception of the 2nd floor, they have patios.

not sure if tis was said so here goes.. we were just in room 2026 north side woods view by the pond and we saw the fire works every night from our balcony it was not a perfect view cause there were some trees that were in the shot but we enjoyed sitting out there every noight and watching the fireworks would def book those rooms again as they were easy to walk up down not use elevator and very close to food/pool etc....
