How exciting to be planning your 1st WDW trip! Of course, I'm always excited to plan ANY WDW trip, LOL. I start planning the next trip almost as soon as I arrive home! We haven't stayed at WL yet, though we're planning a stay Nov/Dec 2005. Ya know, when my DSis (AC) told me about his passing, I was so shocked! I just couldn't bring myself to even post on the DIS fer a while.....

BTW - we sorta planned to mebbe git on over to "home" for the NJ Teachers' Convention weekend, but I now have TWO tuitions to pay for, so I am o' bit out'o moo-lah.... (perhaps for Presidents' Week....hmmmmm )

I know I read on here a travel agency that some people have used. I believe it said that they will even check on discounts for you after you have booked and apply any that come out. I can't remember who it was if someone could remind me. Thanks.

Thanks, Betsy. Your photo looks like it was 2nd/3rd floor? Did you like the room as far as having the lobby on one side and the courtyard on the other? We love the lobbby. We've spent a lot of time in Old Faithful Inn, and it reminds us of that.

Also, I've checked Majestic's site. It was very hard to tell if the trees would block the view toward the pool. Has anyone one else had a Bear Face room, and how was the view?

We had 5077 on our last trip. It was on of the Bear Face rooms.

The view was wonderful but the pool section was partly blocked by a tree. We had a great view of the lake though.

Another requester of a bear face room. I hope we get lucky. I wanted to add on my request for a direct lake view if a bf wasn't available. The CM didn't want to note that though. I thought I read in the unofficial guide that there were courtyard rooms with a direct lake view. I'll call back and try again.

We're looking forward to visiting WL at Christmas time and showing our new baby our favorite vacation destination.
