The NEW Official November 2010 Countdown & Planning Thread ~ Come join us! (Part 2)

I just ordered one from Amazon. I was able to find it in Expo Electronics. (don't know if they are by you) I played online and check the different stores by me I eventually found the camera in a store to go check it out. The sales guy automatically said it is a better camera than the Cannon p&s or the Nikon 3000 before I could ask my questions. It is slightly bigger than the Cannon size wise but compared to my old lumix it's tiny.... buttons are spaced well tho... The optical zoom is much better than the others for a p&s. The low light pics are supposed to be much improved. I love my old lumix  and have faith this one will do me well. The stabilzation mode is nice on the old one. My pictures always came out nice. (I bought the blue one on Amazon for $149.95- it was the least popular color and least expensive. Works for me)
Good Luck! I'll post how I like it once I get it. :yay:

Thanks!!!! My biggest question is its shutter speed. Im tired of my p&s taking pics of DS turning away because it is so slow taking the pic. I was curious why the blue was cheaper. Its my favorite color so that works for me too. Thinking about getting one for DM also since the price is right. Looking forward to the review. popcorn::

Magical Express documents are here! We were out of town for the weekend and just got the mail today. My husband doesn't understand why I am so obsessively checking the mail these days, ha ha! Normally I could go a week without looking. And I just read that Southwest now participates so I don't have to pick up my luggage before going to the bus, woo hoo!

My family and I have abt 50 days left until our trip. We are staying at the CR 11/28-12/04. My nephew turns 1 on 11/29 so we have ADR's for Chef Mickey's that day and the Princess Bfast for my nieces on Thursday. Other than that, we are doing QSDP so the kids won't forced to leave something they may be enjoying so we can make dining reservations. My sister and I hope to do the regular dining plan (maybe even deluxe :)) 2 years from now. We are still 50 days away from this trip and my mind is already drifting to 2 years from now.

4 Weeks from right now we will be in the air heading towards Orlando :woohoo:

With only 28 more days I had another dream last night, I was going over our daily itinery

:banana::dance3::banana:

I cannot believe we are actually at 26 days!!!! :cool1::cool1: Time is just flying now and I am not sure whether I want it to hurry up or slow down a bit (Hurry up - obviously because it is Disney/Slow down - because I am no where near ready packing wise and because once we are there it will be over before we know it! ;))

48 days for me!
I've been having the Disney dreams too! Hpoefully everything that goes wrong in my dreams goes better than expected in real life!

I had dreams about Disney all weekend! They were all bad too though. Dining reservations were all messed up. Or I'd oversleep and everyone left me to go to the park.

I always get kinda nervous before we leave. I think the long drive and getting their safely is most of it.

Travel Channel had a doc. on WDW Sunday. My son and I watched it. He told me he wanted to ride Disney World rides. I told him we would in November. I think it really sunk in to him that he's really going there. I talk about it with him but he's 4 and very much in the now. Doesn't really think of anything past the moment he's in. I wish I could be that way! :upsidedow

Southwest just sent me a nice email with all of my flight info. Aren't they sweet?

For my feLlow (slightlly) obsessive planners, I spoke with Amy, the new owner of wegoshop, she is working on Novembers schedule now and will be emailing next week with details.

Sorry for typos, sent from phone

Did you guys see that Karamell-Kuche opened in Epcot?

Looks delicious. :cloud9:

Oh my! Now I have a new place that will be a must see. I have a very real sweet tooth which I have worked hard to tame over the years but at Disney I get to indulge in all those wonderful lil treats that I can't get in my home town. Now I just need to figure out which meal I will skip so I can go here instead! :rotfl:

We could use all the prayers you could send our way right now. Friday night, DH lost his job. There was no reason. No warning. No Nothing. He was called at 10:30 at night and told they weren't happy with him. Which is really funny since not even two weeks ago, they said he was one of the best Blaster they have ever seen! Yes, we are going to look into Wrongful Termination. We believe he has strong grounds for it.

Jobs lose aside, we are okay. We know God has a plan and that everything will work out in the end. Financially, we are okay to. Atleast for a little bit. But, if he doesn't get a job soon, we are going to have to cancel our trip. I really hate to, but we have to be responsible. Disney, regardless of what my brain tells me, isn't a requirement. And it isn't like this is our first (or last) trip. But it was going to be a special trip. And it hurts a bit to cancel. But as life, poop happens!

And since we finally told the kids and told them the surprises we had planned, I will share with you all too. We changed our resort back in July to the Poly. Both DDs really have wanted to stay there for a long time. It isn't my fav but this trip was suppose to be special, so I really wanted to surprise them and stay there. We also changed our ADRs some. We changed arrival night to Grand Floridian Cafe. It is DD1 favorite place on property. We ordered her a bday cake to be made by the GF bakery. It was going to be a Alice in Wonderland themed Mad Hatter shaped cake. We moved our Yachtsman to Friday night and canceled our Candlelight Processional Package. And for DD2, we canceled Cape May breakfast on Thanksgiving and changed it back to Chef Mickeys. We had literally made this the perfect trip for our kids.... Oh well, if things don't work out, we can do it again next time.

It sucks. But life goes on. As the saying goes, "If he brings you to it, he will bring you through it!" I keep repeating that. And "Theres A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow...."

Jessica... oh no... we will keep you all in our prayers...and hope a new job comes along soon!!!

So sorry to hear about your husband's job, it is terrible that they have let him go in such a way. I will say a prayer that he quickly finds another job!
