Thank you guys so much for all the wonderful advice, exactly what I was looking for. I think what I may do is upgrade the tickets to four day tickets and plan them according to your advice on the busier days at each park. Also, if I do that I may consider switching to a value resort. The main reason that I picked CBR was because I figured we would be at the resort quite a bit and therefore I liked the zero entry pool for my little one and the waterslides for the older one. However, if we are not going to be at the resort much, there is no sense in spending the extra just for the pool. I also really liked the theming at CBR for myself but I think the boys might like the theming at the values better. Hmm, guess I still have time to decide. Thank you!

You're welcome! :goodvibes I'm sure it will all work out for you!

Hey fellow November travelers! We will be going 11/6 to 11/13 if you'd like to add us to your list. This will be our first Nov trip ever and I am super excited to see Christmas decorations. We usually go in Jan or Feb. We have 8 people total and will be staying at Windsor Hills.

I really want to check out MVMCP and I see someone posted the first party as 11/12. How hard would it be to get tickets for the first party? Should I buy them as soon as they become available? I imagine the first party is probably pretty crowded.

Sounds like November is a great time to go from reading all your posts with good weather, beautiful Christmas decorations, and low crowds. I am super excited especially since our last trip was in Feb 07! Way too long!!!

:welcome: I sure will get you added to the list! :thumbsup2

You picked a great week. :goodvibes (That's my week)

I would get your MVMCP tickets as soon as they come out. I started a thread once and asked how crowded the party was the first week it is offered. . . I got very contradicting opinions. :confused3 Some would say VERY busy - stay away!! And others would say it wasn't crowded at all and all the rides were walk ons. . .

Yes, November is a great time to go. We liked it best of all the times of the year we have gone! :goodvibes

Many of you have referred to the OL. I don't know about them. :confused3 What, where, when? And I never expected to be able to go to the MVMCP in mid-Nov. How much extra $$ is it? Thanks!

The name for the new authentic Neapolitan pizzeria operated by the Patina Restaurant Group in the Italy pavilion at Epcot's World Showcase has been revealed: Via Napoli. The restaurant will have wood-burning ovens, and will import water from a source that most resembles the water in Naples, Italy, home of some of the world's best pizza dough. This 300-seat pizzeria will feature a menu inspired by the famous pizzerias of southern Italy. The menu also will feature pastas, salads, sandwiches and Italian wines. The Patina Restaurant Group also operates Tutto Italia Ristorante at the pavilion.

The Value resorts have really neat themes for their pools too! U don't have to give it up completely!! I love the ASMusic pool with the gang from the Three Cabelleros!!!!

Those pictures are great!!! I can't wait for my grandsons to see them and to experience everything Disney!

Thanks, Momof2DisneyBoys, for sharing the pix of the OL. Fantastic! I vaguely remember the news story of this donation from the family whose Christmas lighting got too grand for their home. What a neat addition to the park.

What is a TIW card? We have annual passes. We are a family of 5 (3 adults) and TS really adds up. We have a 2BR BLT so we have a kitchen for breakfast and some dinners, but we like to do lunch in the parks, so if this TIW can help with that my DH would be happier. Is it good for CS or just TS?

Sorry, tree320, but I didn't check in yesterday, so I'm just reading your question tonight.

As Momof2Disneyboys wrote, TIW stands for "Tables In Wonderland" and I learned about it here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneydiningexperience.htm (Apparently, this used to be called "Disney Dining Experience".)

Since you already have annual passes, one person in your party would purchase the TIW card for $75.00, and your party gets 20% off of all food and beverage purchases (including alcoholic beverages) at the participating Disney restaurants.

At first I was worried that the restaurants we really want to eat at would not participate, but most of them are on the list! Specifically: California Grill, Hoop-Dee-Doo Review, ESPN, Flying Fish, Kouzzina's, Bluezoo, Kona Cafe, Ohana's, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Rose & Crown Pub, Liberty Tree Tavern, plus TONs more. Granted, I don't think we'll actually be able to eat at all these places, but that's the thing that appeals to me about TIW - we could pop in for just drinks and/or an appetizer and get 20% off on the whole bill. Some people may not like the 18% gratuity that is automatically added on, but we typically tip 20% unless service is REALLY bad, so that is no biggie to me.

I didn't really scour the list of restaurants for CS specifically, but check out the URL above for all the choices.

Hope that helps! :flower3:

Okay, just went back and found your first post. . . If you want to share your dates and resort I will get you added! :thumbsup2

We will be there 13th to 21st I believe and staying at Bonnet Creek..love the resort and the location....a 2 bedroom/2bath for 90 a nite and Epcot and Magic kingdom fireworks from the balcony cant beat it...plus we have to go onto Disney property to get there...

We are traveling to Disney November 7-13th :)

It will be me, DH, and our children DD (6) DS (4) and DD (2).

We will be driving in from CT with on overnight stay in NC. We arrive on the 7th and are staying at the All-Star Movies Resort. We are doing the Deluxe dining plan. We leave the 13th for Port Canaveral where we will be staying one night then boarding Royal Caribbeans Freedom of the Seas for a 7-night Western caribbean cruise :)

We are all extremely excited and hope for nice weather and low crowds!!!

Thanks for sharing that! Neat! We haven't seen this before. Going 5th-12th so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will start before we leave!

You're welcome! :goodvibes

My fingers are crossed too!! :wizard:

Thanks for the info! I'm not sure we would get to use it enough to pay for itself. I think we will still be stuffed from all the food we plan on eating on the Wonder.:rotfl: If I had known about it on our last trip in Jan. when we bought the AP, I think I would have bought it. I will look at the prices of the places we might eat. Thanks again. This is why I love Disboards! So much info I wish I knew on our first trips.

It's official: I booked this morning using the 30% room discount pincode that I received in yesterday's email (YAY!). POFQ, November 29-December 5. DH, DGD10, me and hopefully, DD (I'll add her later if she decides to come with). :cloud9:

If extended free dining is offered as it was last year, I'll have to change things, especially since DGD10 is now a Disney adult, but for now it's all good. :lovestruc
