It will be February. Even if it's Florida, it will still be cold-ish. Orlando's average February low is 52. The sun won't be out. There have been years when we've gone down into the 20's at night. I don't think you'll want your belly exposed.
Actually, while last year was chilly b/c it was overcast and rainy, I still was pretty warm once I started running. I was wearing a running skirt and a ss top and was comfy. The year before that was HOT once the sun came out. I was in Corral B and the sun came up right as I was going through the MK. After that, the whole second half of the race was sunny and hot. So it's a mixed bag, for sure. Even last year on Saturday when we toured the parks I was in a tank top and shorts. The very next day (race day) I was wearing jeans, a ls tee and had a light jacket when it got breezy post-race. So, basically, have outfit plans A & B ready!
Trail runs are hard for me since I have to be careful about my footing so I don't trip. While tripping is bad for most people, tripping less than 11 months after major back surgery would really set me back.

) or if I'm hurting and I miss a planned run, I get really cranky.
HI
Hee hee, I love hearing how differently we all feel FL's winter weather, depending on where we're from! I've lived in FL for 20 years now: I've literally NEVER been warm enough in Feb. to wear a tank top! I did wear shorts the day before the Princess 5K last year, but was chilly most of the day. For the 5K itself, I was in tights under a skort, long-sleeve mock T-neck tech shirt under a short sleeve shirt and regretted leaving my long-sleeve jacket in bag check, lol! I believe the temp was in the low 60s.

My small foot is an 8.5 and my big foot is a 9.5. The 10s just did NOT work for my small foot. Right now the 9.5s are working fine, but I'm sure that won't last. Darn feet. $100 for shoes is bad enough, but $200 is hard to stomach.
