The New Misfit Island Resort, make your reservation today!

It was just a few miles from my house. I worked about 9 hours today for this convention and I didn't make too many sales today.

At least it was local. Sorry it didn't work out too well.

Was it busy or quiet? Did it host another tournament of any kind?

This event was not as bad as the last one which was way of a bust then today.

It was about average, there were a lot of people all dressed up in costumes. I even saw a young adult all dressed up as Jack Sparrow today. We hosted a Magic & Yu-Gi-Oh tournament today and there were barely enough players for a tournament.

Was it barely enough for the tournament because this was a general Anime convention and not just Yu gI oh?

You are correct that this was a general Anime Convention and not a Yu-gi-oh event. 16 players is plenty of people. On a big tournament, there are more then 1000 players. Since this show was announced one month ago to help the Japan Relief effort, it was a good charity for the people in Japan.

I am so stoked at being selected for the ST2 Sneak Peek.

I am so stoked at being selected for the ST2 Sneak Peek.

I'm really curious what the ratio of entries to winners is?

Given that they had long time slots, multiple times per day and over several days, they could pass a lot of AP holders through.

I'm really glad they are doing lots of previews since in DHS ST has had soft openings for a few days now.

I am also curious of the samething, since there are around 1,000,000 AP holders. There were some DISers that got selected and not get selected (not being rude to the one that didn't get select).

That would make sense to have a few thousand AP holders to be there for the AP Sneak Peek.

It is nice that DL is doing a lot of previews.

I am so ticked right now with the NBA Draft Lottery just a few hours ago when the Kings have the 5th best chance to win the NBA Lottery and fall all the way down to 7. The NBA say that the NBA Lottery is legit, I don't think it is legit since the Kings got snubbed the last three years. They have moved back in the Lottery by three, three and two spots this year.

I thing a lot more AP holders will be getting the sneak peak. While the DIS has a lot of APs, a large proportion are like me and can't just go to DL because of winning this drawing. That is why I didn't enter. So probably of the 1M about 100K just couldn't go anyway. I bet many people never knew, I mean if you have a socal select and live in Long Beach, why would you look at the AP site? So many of the remaining 900K only 600K entered.

So of the 600K who could go it seems like if you look at Dissers who entered about 2/3 won? So using that as a sample maybe 400K won. Thats a lot of people. But over all those days the ride might be able to take a lot of people to space.

How is it that the odds are changing? I don't follow the NBA draft at all so this is greek to me, but it doesn't seem right.

I think that you are right. That does make sense that some of the AP holders that are out of the SoCal area or out of states. Some people out here in Sacramento didn't even know about the ST2 Sneak Peek. I told them to look at the AP website and signed up a little late.

There were a few of the DISers that didn't won, but I heard that some got this Friday Sneak Peek. That does make it up for the people who didn't win for the AP Sneak Peek. It will be interesting to hear how many AP holders have got selected.

How is it that the odds are changing? I don't follow the NBA draft at all so this is greek to me, but it doesn't seem right.

The Kings only had a 7.6 percent chance of winning the top pick while the Cavs had only 3 percent which won the lottery while Utah had 1 percent chance and got to select 3rd. Four of the five worst records in the NBA didn't even get in the top 3 picks and of course that is the Kings at 5 to 7. I don't want to be offending the NBA or anything, but the Lottery for the Kings the last three years have not been kind. I am happy that the Kings are here for another year, but I am getting tired of the Kings not making the top 3 picks.

There was a bunch of blue sky this morning so I put on shorts and sandals. Now it's gray.

The forecast has not come through this week at all for me. Each day the forecast has been 70% rain in the days 70% rain and snow at night. 40% after that. But as each day went by no precipitation, but the next day goes from 40% to 70%.

In any case tomorrow is branding cattle day to I'll be hoping it's dry and cool.
