Do you have information for the larger boats? I'm going with my parents in October and I want to take them out on a boat. TIA. :goodvibes

I would and ask for the end closest to the MK.

I have requested a high floor but did not know about the "closest to the MK" request? Does it make a real difference in the view of the fireworks? Is there any bad theme park view that we should know about?

No, any of the views on that side are wonderful. :cloud9: It just puts you closer to the MK!

Even if you ended up with a Magic Kingdom view on the 6th floor which is as low as possible, I don't think it makes a difference because in my opinion the view is still the same.

Now if you happen to get a high floor and got a room that ended in the number 48, that means you would be right at the end of the hallway with a room that is closet to the Magic Kingdom. For example the 6th is room 4248, the 7th floor is room 4348, the 8th floor is room 4448, the 9th floor is room 4548, the 10th floor is room 4658, and the 11th floor is room 4748.

One thing I can guarantee is you won't get a room on the 5th floor, because there are no Magic Kingdom views on there. The reason is because of the Monorail station, so they only have the Bay Lake views.

Does anyone know why you can not book a MK view on the concierge level? I am booked in a MK view but wanted to upgrade to Concierge..they said I couldn't be guaranteed to the view...just wondering why they do not offer this? ;)

I don't know why they don't, but I wish they did let you book specific view! Several of the Deluxe Resorts do not offer guaranteed views on their Concierge floors including the 12th floor Atrium Club and 14th floor Tower Club (the Suites in the 14th floor do guarantee a certain view) at the CR, both RPC and SL at the Grand Floridian, BWI, Wilderness Lodge. The BC, YC, and Poly do let you book specific views for concierge. The AKL Deluxe Concierge (allows 6 to a room) allows you to book a pool or a Savannah room. The AKL Club Level standard Concierge room guarantees a Savannah view, but doesn't tell you which one it will be.

If the view is your number one priority, then keep the Tower MK view. We stayed on the Atrium Club for our last trip and lucked out getting a MK view. It was amazing. :cool1: :thumbsup2 The view is what we want most, so we opted to book a standard room with the MK view in the Tower and skip Concierge for our April trip.

I guess you can say my family and I are lucky, but whenever we stay on the Atrium Club Level we always manage to get a Magic Kingdom view and have never requested it when making the reservations. Now since we have had it so many times if we ended up with the Bay Lake view it would not be that bad. Plus we can look outside at the Magic Kingdom anytime we wanted since it can be viewed from the lounge. However I agree with Denise that if the Magic Kingdom view if your top priority then you should just make a reservation for the Magic Kingdom view and not stay Club Level.

Thanks Cr and Triplefigs....The view is my biggest priority so I will not change my reservation..when I check in I will ask if a concierge room is available with a MK view and if it is I will pay the difference...:thumbsup2

This is exactly what I'm doing in August.

That sounds like a very good idea.

When I recently booked a reservation at the Contempory, I could only get a King room in the Garden Wing for next March. There was no mention of which view. Does anyone know where the King room are located? My reservation says Garden Wing-King (cg) Thanks for any info.

You have a room in The garden wing which means you have a gardenview..The only way to have a MK view or Bay view is to be in the main tower. :)

I can not say what type of view you get with the type of reservation you have, however I know that you would either face the parking lot/convention center or a smaller view of Bay Lake.

Is there any place in the CR now or by Oct that sells quick breakfasts to go like Gasparillos does. (Ex. egg sandwiches, mickey waffles with bacon)

Thanks

The Tempo Grab and Go is the only CS in the CR at the moment. The menu link is listed in the 1st post under restaurants.
