Hopefully what I just posted is true because my family and I are arriving to WDW on August 18th, which means Chef Mickey's Express will have been open for 4 days. However if it's not open by then nothing we can do about it, so it won't be the worst thing in the world.

We arrive just a few days later. I'm hoping everything is up and running, too.

This is the sign posted over at Wilderness Lodge a few months ago since the time change the hours may have also changed. Check with the Captian of the Blue Flag Boat on your trip over.

How long of a boat trip is it? We are doing HDR and am curious as to how much time to leave to get over there by 4:30 or so.

I saw the info on the new restaurant The Wave. Does anyone know when it opens and what type of food it will serve? We are going mid November and hoping to try something new!!!

Also does anyone know where the laundry facilities are located I cant seem to find them on the map. Are they convienient to the pool? If I throw in a load and do some swimming?

According to what CR Fan just posted, the Wave should be open in June. I believe the laundry is in the South Garden wing so that would be pretty close to the pool. I think that info is on page 1.

Thanks! If it takes too long we can always grab a cab for an ADR.

Actually that changes everything if you were asking about how to get buses for ADR's at other Resorts. What you could do is just walk to the Magic Kingdom and get on a Resort bus for that specific Resort. This is what you could do for ADR's at any of the Epcot Resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Coronado Springs and etc.

The buses at the Contemporary only go to Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom/Blizzard Beach, Downtown Disney/Typhoon Lagoon. They just happen to share bus service with the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. However if you had ADR's at those specific Resorts you can just take the Resort Monorail.

I meant ADRs at parks. I plan on making some early breakfast ones! Epcot and MK aren't an issue, it's AK that I'm specifically concerned about.

Oh my bad. Anyway speaking from previous experience the Animal Kingdom bus we have had least amount of waits. Now like I said before maybe we have been lucky about that, however I can only speak about the experiences my family and I have had with the buses.

If you call for a reservation that is months away from the time you would want to stay there, then you should have a good chance of getting a reservation on the 12th or 14th floors. For my families upcoming stay this August on the Atrium Club floor that reservation was made on Dec 25, 2007 and for our stay there this December, that was done back on January 31st. If for some reason you are calling many months away and they are sold out, keep calling and checking because chances are there will be a cancellation.

It's a twin bed size, and my DH who is 6'1" slept on it one afternoon for a nap, and it was just fine. It is very comfortable, and the Mousekeepers made it for us every day with clean linens.

I would say you would can make ADR's for the Wave once they are open, or maybe WDW will announce that you can make them before they open so guests will know about it.

If you want to make a request for the highest floor possible that would be the 11th floor, however it's my opinion that no matter the floor your on the Magic Kingdom view does not look any different.

Like I said before if you want to be as high as possible with the view you selected, then choose the 11th floor. My family and I have only stayed on the Bay Lake side on time and I think we were on the 10th floor, so I can't say how it would if you were on any other floors in the Tower.
