HELP!!!
I need some info. re: Pepper Market. Our flight does not arrive at MCO until 8:50, so I am thinking we won't get to the resort until 10:00 or so. I'm trying to decide whether we should plan on having dinner when we check in, or try to eat at the airport before we leave? So I have a few ??:

* What time does the Pepper Market close?
* Is it crowded late at night?
* How long should I expect it to take to get our food?
* Is it feasible to get the food TO GO, and bring it to our room?
* Is everything available TO GO, or only certain things?
* Will they allow us to bring our carryons into the Pepper Market, or can
we leave them with bell services while we eat/ get food?

Oy, this is seeming like more trouble than it's worth! The thing is, I have the CS for that night, and would hate to waste it if it's doable. Plus,it will likely be our only chance to eat at PM. What do you think? Thanks!

Hey buzz2001 what rooms do think are the nicest? I think I want to stay at cabaña but just wondering which one has nicest interior and exterior?!?!

I think the casitas have the nicest exterior because of the fountains and courtyards. So beautiful at night. As far as the inside goes, they are basically all the same.

* What time does the Pepper Market close? 11:00pm
* Is it crowded late at night? no
* How long should I expect it to take to get our food? It depends what you get. Steaks and burgers are cooked to order. 15 mins tops unless it is really packed for some reason.
* Is it feasible to get the food TO GO, and bring it to our room? Yes, just make sure you get a "TO GO" ticket so you are not charged the 10% gratuity.
* Is everything available TO GO, or only certain things? yes, everything is available to go.
* Will they allow us to bring our carryons into the Pepper Market, or can we leave them with bell services while we eat/ get food? you can leave them with bell services.

Also do you know how far Casitas are frome the dig site? And is the dig site where the main pool is?

We are considering trying Coronado Springs for our trip in 2008 and have a few questions-
Is there a shuttle that takes you to one central bus stop or does each section have their own bus stop and the bus just makes the rounds to each section? Which section is closest to the food court?

My 8 year old is in a wheelchair and this greatly affects my decision on where we stay.

I wish we had actually thought about going to the resort when we were there a week and a half ago but sadly didn't.

There is a bus stop in each village and at the main building. The internal shuttle provided is done on the sidewalks in a golf cart. Casita 1 and 3 are close. Casita 1 is attached to the main building. Cabana 9b is also close.

Casita 5 is about a 5 min walk from the dig site and the times get longer as the casita number goes down. casita 1 is the furthest from the dig site but is attached to the main building. Yes, the dig site is the main pool area.

Ok thank you I think I will request casitas 3 because it’s closest to El Centro and it's the first bus stop to get picked up for parks!!!! That is if do end up going there next year!!

Hi
My DH and I are going in December. I requested cabana 9b, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should have requested something different. If you're reading this Buzz, we want to stay in a building closest to the bus stops and the Pepper Market and the lounge. Can't wait to try the margaritas!! We don't know if we'll get a chance to swiim, so the pool isn't important to us. Should I have requested the Casita buildings instead? Thanks!!:goodvibes

Casita 1 or 3 are good as is cabana 9b.

Strange question...but my kids are young and really enjoyed the monorail ride at Disneyland last May....is it crazy to think of taking a bus to Epcot and then the Monorail to MK - how long would that take?

Is the Monorail free for Resort folks?

Thanks:flower3:

The monorail is free for everyone. And no, it's not crazy to take the bus to Epcot & then the monorail to MK. We've done it before for fun! I can't speak to how long it would take though as we've never stayed at CSR before.

Something for for your kids...if you get to the monorail, ask the CMs there if your family (up to 4 I believe) can be co-pilots at all. You sit in the VERY front of the monorail w/the "conductor" & you get co-pilots license! It's fun!

I asked for my DH's bday! He LOVED it!

Have a great trip!

FYI: If you take the bus to Epcot, you can take the monorail to the Ticket & Transportation Center, but then you will need to change monorails to get to MK. The monorail that goes to MK does not go to Epcot. The MK monorail goes to the TTC, Poly, GF, MK & CR. Sorry I can't help with the time frame - we haven't done this.

But, I totally agree with the OP who suggested riding up front with the pilot. We started doing that our 1st trip & now it's a regular treat. Give it a try.

Hope this helps.

Like others have said, the monorail is free for everyone. Doing this will add some extra time vs. taking a bus directly to MK but if it's what you want to do, then go for it. :) Keep in mind that when you switch monorails at the TTC, you need to walk down, around, and back up to get on the other monorail. It reminds me of being in NYC and switching from a downtown subway platform to an uptown one, if the analogy helps at all. Also, once you're on the monorail, if you have more time to kill, you can circle around the MK resorts on it.

We have just decided to change our September 19-24 reservation from the Contemporary to Coronado. I am very excited and I am very anxious to try PM. I do have a question though...when it comes to the food in PM is all of it considered CS? I saw on the Allears website that they had a ribeye, potatoes, and veggies for $19.95. Is that a CS credit or a TS credit if you are on the dining plan? I am very very excited about staying at this resort b/c we have never stayed here before. I notice that we are going during the IRS convention, is there a big problem w/ people when going during a convention? Also in what area do the majority of them stay? Buzz I just wanted to thank you for all the information you have put on here. I really feel like I'm ready to go and all I have seen are pictures. Also if I could get a room recommendation I would appreciate it. We want something close to the PM and one of the bus stops. My grammy is going w/ us and we don't want to long of a walk for her and us after a long day of doing the parks. Also something that is not to far of a walk from the Dig Site. Also do the buildings have elevators in them? Any information at all would be very much appreciated. :thanks:

Everything at the Pepper Market is CS...even the Rib Eye! The Pepper Market is one of the best CS values on property. There is another restaurant, The Maya Grill where you may use TS credits. I found it to be very good.

IRS convention! They were there during our vacation last year. No problem. As I walked around in shorts and T-shirt preparing for a fun day at the parks, I watched these folks (some in suits!) going to seminars. My revenge on the IRS!

Casitas is close to the Pepper Market, and one of the many bus stops, but not as close to the Dig Site. There are internal shuttles (golf carts) that could transport you to the Dig Site from Casitas. They are not on any regular schedule, though.

Have a great vacation!
