Does anyone know if the closet rod in the AB rooms is attached to a flat shelf? I wasn't sure how else I could phrase that.
If by that you mean is there a shelf above the closet rod, the answer is yes. It was great for storing sweatshirts and jeans that would have otherwise taken up too much room in the drawers.
If you don't mind me asking, if the price is roughly the same what would you find about Pop that would entice you there over POR? (except maybe the single bus stop?)

I'm currently booked at POFQ but I am considering a change to POR for my upcoming vacation in August.
Just so that I have all the correct information if I do change resorts.....
Does anyone know what constitutes a river view room in Magnolia Bend? Is it just the front rooms right next to the walking path? or does it also include the rooms which are set waaaaaaaay back..........which I consider to be more of a courtyard view than a river view. I think that I would be very disappointed if I paid for a river view room but could only see the river with binoculars! My idea of a river view is right on the river. Does anyone have any information or experience with this?
I was there last October and our room was spotless. Yes it was in need of a new carpet but everything was perfect. No cracked anything around in our room. It was perfect for us, so much so that I have booked another trip for this May and possibly August.
We have reservations for Alligator Bayou in September (family of five). I read how POR is being rehabbed, but they won't get to AB til after we are there. I was wondering if these rooms are especially dirty since I imagine that these rooms are being used by families with little kids (and we all know how kids can be!). I think I can handle a little mess, but just wondering if anyone had any recent experience with these rooms. I did go with the preferred room, but I doubt that will change anything regarding the cleanliness. I get so worried when I read reviews on Trip Advisor and other sites. Thanks for any info.
Do you guys think the preferred room is worth an additional $28 a night? Is the resort that big that it is worth it to pay to be close to the bus stops, food court and pools?
I want to book POR for our honeymoon in November!!![]()
How is the transportation such as the buses? Is there one bus stop that will likely be less crowded than others?
We want a king size bed, not a far walk to a bus stop, and a great river view. Is this possible?
Thanks for everyone' help!!
